All Rise returns for its third season on its new home, OWN, June 7. Returning for the new season include Simone Missick, Wilson Bethel, Jessica Camacho, J. Alex Brinson, Ruthie Ann Miles, Lindsay Mendez, Lindsey Gort, and Marg Helgenberger. The new season picks up six months after the events of the sophomore finale and will bring about new beginnings for these judges, prosecutors and public defenders. We return on election night as Judge Lola Carmichael awaits the results of her campaign. Emily returns from Puerto Rico with renewed drive and purpose about her career and Luke continues to shake things up through his work in the public defender’s office. The former CBS series was canceled after two seasons before being picked up by OWN. 

Iron Chef returns with a new series on Netflix titled Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend. The series will premiere June 16. Alton Brown returns as host alongside Mark Dacascos returning as The Chairman. Kristen Kish joins the series also. Five new trailblazing Iron Chefs will welcome brave Challenger Chefs to the reimagined Kitchen Stadium, where they’ll face off and be pushed to the limits of endurance and creativity, as they cook up extraordinary culinary creations. The competition’s most successful Challenger will return to battle in a grand finale for the chance to be named the first ever “Iron Legend.”

Yo! MTV Raps will return for a new season on Paramount+ May 24. Hosted by Conceited and DJ Diamond Kuts, the series will take a comprehensive deep dive into the current state of hip hop, with hosted segments, live performances, cyphers and lifestyle content. Featured guests include Freddie Gibbs, IDK, JID, Latto, Saba, Shenseea, Tee Grizzley and Trina. 50 episodes from the original series will make their premiere on Paramount+ starting May 5. 

Tubi has renewed animated comedy series The Freak Brothers for a second season. The series is based on Gilbert Shelton’s cult classic underground comic series. Voice cast includes Woody Harrelson, John Goodman, Pete Davidson, and Tiffany Haddish. The new eight episode season will premiere in December 2022. 

An all new season of The Great Food Truck Race will premiere on Food Network June 5. The eight episode season heads to the Southern California coast. Hosted by Tyler Florence, nine teams of aspiring food truck owners with specialties ranging from fresh pasta to plant-based Cuban dishes must prove their cooking chops, marketing savvy and selling skills in high-stakes challenges to beat their rivals and stay in the race. The season culminates in a head-to-head finale in San Diego where only one team is awarded the life-changing $50,000 grand prize. 

Amazon Freevee has renewed Bosch: Legacy for a second season. The renewal comes ahead of the series premiere May 6. The streamer also renewed Uninterrupted’s Top Class: The Life and Times of the Sierra Canyon for a third and fourth season. Also coming to the streamer are America’s Test Kitchen: The Next Generation, Play-Doh Squished and Beyond Black Beauty. 

Topher Grace, Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, Laura Prepon, Wilmer Valderrama have all signed on to guest star in Netflix’s upcoming series That ‘90s Show. They will reprise their roles from That ‘70s Show. It’s 1995 and Leia Forman, daughter of Eric and Donna, is visiting her grandparents for the summer, where she bonds with a new generation of Point Place kids under the watchful eye of Kitty and the stern glare of Red. Sex, drugs and rock ‘n roll never dies, it just changes clothes.

Drag Superstar Trixie Mattel serves up the hottest renovation Palm Springs has ever seen in new discovery+ series Trixie Motel premiering June 3. The eight episode series follows Trixie, her partner and property co-owner, David Silver, and her team as they tackle the massive overhaul of a ramshackle mid-century motel in Palm Springs, California. After spending nearly two million dollars to buy the dilapidated property, Trixie and David will recruit a slew of spectacular helpers to complete the project in time to kick off Pride Month with a grand opening extravaganza. To help out with the epic undertaking, Trixie secures “free labor” from friends, including hospitality mogul Lisa Vanderpump, comedian Nicole Byer, actor and musician Zooey Deschanel, Property Brother Jonathan Scott, and drag queen/partner in crime Katya. More famous friends lend a hand during the season, including award-winning actor Leslie Jordan, musician and model Iggy Azalea, actor and television host Jonathan Bennett, and musician Belinda Carlisle.  

Netflix has ordered Obliterated, an action comedy series from the creators of Cobra Kai. The series was initially ordered at TBS. The eight episode series is a high octane action-comedy that tells the story of an elite special forces team who thwarts a deadly threat to Las Vegas. After their celebratory party, filled with booze, drugs and sex, the team discovers that the bomb they deactivated was a fake. The now intoxicated team has to fight through their impairments, overcome their personal issues, find the real bomb, and save the world. 

Bravo series will now stream next day on Peacock on their premium tier. Series used to stream on hulu before eventually making their way to Peacock.

Jeff Daniels has been cast in Netflix’s limited series Man in Full. The series is based on the book by Tom Wolfe. David E. Kelley and Regina King will executive produce the series. 

Disney+ has renewed Latin American musical series Intertwined for a second season. In the new season Marco gets to travel through time and transports from the ’90s straight into 2021, thanks to the bracelet. Fascinated by the new world he sees before his eyes, Marco is determined to remain in 2021 with Allegra. Meanwhile, the three women in the Sharp family – Cocó, Caterina and Allegra – receive an offer for their play, “Light Years,” that they can’t refuse, but they find that this project will be difficult to carry out because several past revelations from 1994 were never resolved. Marco, determined to help the Sharp women, also searches for answers as to why the bracelet took him to 2021 and learns that this magical object, that allows time travel, also carries an unknown danger. 

Comedy special Ricky Gervais: Supernature will premiere on Netflix May 24. Gervais gives his take on the rules of comedy, spoiling his cat and debunks the supernatural, concluding that actual nature is super enough. 

The season six Summer House reunion will air May 9 on Bravo. Andy Cohen sits down with Mya Allen, Amanda Batula, Kyle Cooke, Andrea Denver, Paige DeSorbo, Luke Gulbranson, Lindsay Hubbard, Ciara Miller, Danielle Olivera, Carl Radke and Alex Wach to revisit this season’s most dramatic moments. 

Caroline Day will recur on the current sixth season of The CW’s Riverdale. She will play a librarian with a special connection to Cheryl. 

Netflix has canceled animated series Pearl from Meghan Markle. The series was set to follow a young girl who finds inspiration from women throughout history. 

Season 30 of The Ultimate Fighter premieres on ESPN+ May 3. The twelve episode new season titled The Ultimate Fighter: Team Peña vs. Team Nunes features eatures eight men’s heavyweights (265 lbs.) and eight women’s flyweights (125 lbs.) contestants as they live and compete alongside their fellow competitors.

Discovery+’s new series Baby Drivers dives into the world of competitive go-karting. Troy Adams of the legendary Adams Motorsports Park helps get kids to the top. As one of the first African American-owned tracks in the country, go-karting is more than a hobby, it’s a platform to raise up a new generation of elite athletes. Families will spend up to $10,000 in a weekend and put all else in their lives on hold to support their young drivers. As Troy coaches these talented group of adolescents to become the future of professional racing, their parents are on the sidelines coaching, arguing with other parents, and vicariously living through their kids.The series premieres May 23. 

Jimmy Kimmel has tested positive for Covid. Mike Birbiglia will fill in for Kimmel on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live. 

In celebration of The Weather Channel’s 40th anniversary, the network has launched a new channel, The Weather Channel en Español. The network will feature forecasts and other content in Spanish. It is available on streaming platforms, mobile devices and through The Weather Channel app. 

Roku’s This Joka will not return for a second season. The series from Will Smith was acquired during their purchase of Quibi titles and options on the series had long expired. 

Hollywood Houselift with Jeff Lewis will premiere on Amazon Freevee June 10. The famed interior designer is taking viewers into the homes of some of Hollywood’s most familiar faces, and helping them transform their spaces. Celebrity clients featured in the series include Anthony Anderson, Fortune Feimster, Lamorne Morris, Melissa Rivers, Ashlee Simpson Ross, Evan Ross, Roselyn Sanchez, Mira Sorvino, and Wilmer Valderrama. 

Peacock is getting their own Dateline series. Dateline: The Last Day will premiere June 14. In the eight episode series NBC News correspondents Keith Morrison, Josh Mankiewicz, Stephanie Gosk and Andrea Canning examine the final day of a victim’s life – the split-second decisions and pivotal moments that made the difference between life and death. Detectives re-trace those crucial hours looking for clues to solve the mystery. 

Roku’s docuseries Mamas premieres May 6 in celebration of Mother’s Day. Narrated by Connie Britton and Zoë Saldaña, the series follows powerful matriarchs of the animal kingdom, spotlighting the universality of motherhood and exploring what mothers of any species will do to protect their young. It will be available in both English and Spanish.
