Paramount+’s The Good Fight will be ending with the upcoming sixth season. The final season will premiere September 8. In the new season, Diane is feeling like she’s going crazy, struggling with an uneasy sense of déjà vu, with everything from Roe v. Wade, to voting rights, to Cold War aggressions returning. Meanwhile, the lawyers of Reddick & Associates wonder if the violence that they see all around them points to an impending civil war. The Good Fight is a spinoff of The Good Wife which premiered in 2009 and ran for seven seasons. 

Season two of Power Book III: Raising Kanan will premiere on Starz August 14. Raquel ‘Raq’ Thomas has gained control over the city’s drug trade, but her son is slipping away. Kanan Stark returns to Queens uncertain of his future with the family business, and because of Detective Howard’s lingering secret, he’s even more uncertain of his past. Kanan searches for the truth while Raq boldly expands the business into hostile Mafia territory. Lou-Lou has other plans that revolve around his emerging record label, but Raq isn’t about to let his side hustle get in the way of her expansion. Although Marvin remains Raq’s loyal soldier, he struggles to earn Jukebox’s forgiveness and become the father she deserves. The ties that bind this family are becoming undone, but Raq will stop at nothing to hold them together. 

Anime series Spriggan premieres on Netflix June 18. The six episode series is based on the manga from the 1990s. A great civilization once existed on this Earth. Possessing knowledge and scientific prowess far exceeding that of modern man, the relics of this ancient civilization remain hidden across this world even now. As high-speed communications networks cover the globe and the peering eyes of satellites are able to expose all secrets, the armies of great nations clash as they seek to uncover and research these artifacts, which possess an unfathomable “power.” A member of this ancient civilization carved a message into a plate: “Protect our relics from evil-doers.” Taking this message to heart, one organization aims to seal away this ancient civilization for good. The elite secret agents of this organization are known as… Spriggans.

Toonami’s Housing Complex C will premiere later this year. The series centers around Kimi, who lives in a small, low-cost housing complex located in the seaside town of Kurosaki where trouble seems to follow her wherever she goes, and horrific incidents begin to occur. Is an ancient evil stalking the residents of Housing Complex C?

Anthony Anderson will not be returning to Law & Order. The series has been renewed for a twenty second season on NBC. Anderson signed a one year deal with the series for the revival season, but will not continue. No word yet if Sam Waterston will return as he also signed a one year deal initially. 

Milo Manheim will recur in the second season of Disney+’s Doogie Kamealoha, MD. Milo will play Nico, a street smart teen who has been in and out of hospitals for years and lives life on the edge.

Alexis Bledel has exited The Handmaid’s Tale. Bledel will not return for the upcoming fifth season of the hulu series. The new season will likely air later this year. 

Matthew Morrison has exited So You Think You Can Dance mid season. The reason for his departure was due to a failure to follow “production protocols.” A new judge will be announced at a later date, joining judges JoJo Siwa and Stephen “tWitch” Boss. 

Kids series Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures will be coming to Disney+ and Disney Junior. The series follows Younglings as they study the ways of the Force and become Jedi: Compassion, self-discipline, teamwork, patience, and friendship.

Prime Video has renewed Yosi, The Regretful Spy for a second season. The series follows an intelligence officer, whose infiltration into the Jewish community could have been used to commit two terrorist attacks in his country, looks for justice before he and his family get killed.

Disney+ has announced a new Lego Star Wars special is coming to the streamer. Lego Star Wars: Summer Vacation will premiere August 5. Additional details will be announced later. 

HBO has yet to air the second season of Avenue 5 but the cast has been released. This likely means there will be no future seasons after the second. The new season was filmed in 2021, and will likely air in the fall. 

A new season of Gold Rush: Parker’s Trail will premiere June 17 on Discovery. 27-year-old Parker Schnabel is traveling further than ever before in search of gold. Parker and his friends head to New Zealand – land of sharks, hobbits, big gold and revolutionary mining gear. To gain an edge back home, the crew head deep into the wilderness to explore all that this unique land has to offer and take Parker’s mining to the next level. 

Discovery+’s special Jack Osbourne’s Night of Terror: Bigfoot will premiere June 26. Intrigued by the lore, Jack Osbourne is taking his friend, actor Jason Mewes, on a remote quest to find proof of the infamous beast. Together the duo venture into northern Idaho’s secluded backwoods to figure out if Bigfoot is truly an undiscovered creature of North America’s wilderness or simply an age-old legend run wild. 

Season two of Angry Birds: Summer Madness premieres on Netflix June 24. Feathers and sparks fly when young teenagers Red, Chuck, Bomb, Stella and the rest of our favourite Angry Birds characters return for another crazy summer together at Camp Splinterwood!
