Adult Swim’s new anime horror series Housing Complex C will premiere on Toonami October 1 at midnight. Housing Complex C centers around Kimi, who lives in a small housing complex located in the sleepy seaside town of Kurosaki. But trouble seems to follow Kimi wherever she goes, and soon, horrific incidents begin to occur… is an ancient evil stalking the residents of Housing Complex C? The series joins a growing roster of original anime productions from Adult Swim, including Fena: Pirate Princess, Blade Runner: Black Lotus, Shenmue The Animation, new seasons of FLCL, and the highly anticipated Uzumaki

Season five of Cobra Kai premieres on Netflix September 9. Following the shocking results of the All Valley Tournament, Sensei Terry Silver is expanding the Cobra Kai empire and trying to make his “No Mercy” style of karate the only game in town. With Kreese behind bars and Johnny Lawrence setting karate aside to focus on repairing the damage he’s caused, Daniel LaRusso must call on an old friend for help.

Season two of Your Honor premieres this fall on Showtime. Bryan Cranston stars as a New Orleans judge who is forced to confront his own deepest convictions when his son is involved in a hit and run that embroils an organized crime family. As a storm of vengeance, lies and deceit threatens to engulf the entire city, Michael Desiato faces a series of increasingly impossible choices and discovers just how far an honest man will go to save his son’s life. 

Last Light premieres on Peacock September 8. The five episode limited series is based on Alex Scarrow’s best-selling novel of the same name. Petro-chemist Andy Nielsen knows how dependent the world is on oil; if something were to happen to the world’s oil supply, it would set off a chain reaction: transportation would grind to a halt, supplies would cease to be delivered, law enforcement would be overwhelmed. While on a business trip to the Middle East, Andy realizes that his worst fears are coming true and his family is separated at this crucial moment. His teenage daughter, Laura, is alone at home in London while his wife, Elena, and young son, Sam, are in Paris. Amid this chaos, each family member will sacrifice everything to find one another, despite the distance and the dangers that separate them. 

The Masked Singer returns for a new season on Fox September 21. Get a first look at the all-new season, featuring the very first show footage, first glimpse of the all-new costumes and all-star celebrity guests.

Prime Video’s The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will premiere with two episodes September 1 at 9 pm EDT. The rest of the season will premiere one episode weekly on Fridays, releasing at midnight EDT. The season finale will premiere October 14. 

Showtime is set to air Alan Cumming’s standup special Club Cumming Presents A Queer Comedy Extravaganza September 2. Cumming hosts this cabaret-style gathering featuring seven up-and-coming queer comedians that represent not only the diversity of the queer spectrum, but also of comedy styling – from stand-up to characters to musical performances. The 75-minute special features Joe Castle Baker, Julia Shiplett, duo Zach Teague & Drew Lausch, Nori Reed, Pat Regan, and Larry Owens. 

Dr. Seuss Baking Challenge is set to premiere this upcoming winter on Prime Video. The series will be hosted by Tamera Mowry-Housley, with pastry chef Clarice Lam and cake designer and pastry chef Joshua John Russell as judges. The series invites America’s best bakers to step into the world of Dr. Seuss. From The Grinch to The Cat in the Hat, these bakers will use their limitless imaginations to craft jaw-dropping creations inspired by beloved Dr. Seuss characters. In each episode bakers will be given a challenge based around Seuss characters and stories, and their towering creations will be judged based on taste, creativity, and storytelling. 

Love It or List It returns for an all new season September 12 with a special 90 minute premiere. The eight episode season sees designer Hilary Farr and real estate expert David Visentin help homeowners make a major, and oftentimes difficult, decision. Hilary will encourage them to love their existing home after completing stunning renovations, while David will entice them to purchase a new house that perfectly suits their family. The two are known for their signature sharp wit, funny banter and clever, competitive barbs. 

Ron Perlman, Nick Nolte, Charles Melton, and Tim Blake Nelson have joined the cast of Peacock’s Poker Face. The ten episode series stars Natasha Lyonne. 

Eva De Dominici will be a series regular when The Cleaning Lady returns for its second season on Fox September 19. De Dominici recurred in the first season as Nadia Morales, Arman’s wife. 

Rich Eisen Show will be moving from Peacock to The Roku Channel beginning next month. The series will stream five days a week live from noon to 3. 

Samantha Harris has been named host of GSN’s Tug of Words. The second season will premiere this coming fall. The series is a fast-paced game where two teams compete to answer word clue questions correctly and pull the flag on the “tug of war rope” to their side. In round one, each answer involves changing a single letter in the word that appears on the board. For example, with ‘TUG’ on the board, the answer to the clue ‘a label inside a garment’ is ‘TAG,’ and with ‘TAG’ then on the board, the answer to the clue ‘hopefully the upstairs neighbors aren’t learning this dance’ is ‘TAP.’ With each round, an additional letter is added creating four and five letter words to solve. The team with the flag on their side after three rounds wins the game, qualifying them for the bonus round where they have opportunity to compete for $10,000. Ahmad Rashad hosted the first season. 

ESPN has re signed Hall of Famer Randy Moss, three time Pro Bowler Matt Hasselbeck, Super Bowl champion Tedy Bruschi and Sam Ponder as Sunday NFL Countdown returns with the same cast for the 2022 NFL season. Each week, fans can expect fresh analysis and insight from Moss, Hasselbeck, Bruschi and Ryan on the most significant games and storylines. Schefter and Mortensen will provide the latest news from around the league, a staple of Sunday NFL Countdown as the weekend slate looms. Countdown reporters will be stationed at stadiums around the country, providing the latest news from key sites. Award-winning storytelling also will return, through features and interviews. 

The Roku Channel has added 14 new linear channels, including additional NBC local news channels and six Scripps channels, to its live TV guide. New channels include Roku Channel Westerns, a Roku owned and operated channel featuring viewer-favorite Western movies/series including “Apache Junction,” “The Westerner,” “The Rebel” and more. Also six Scripps channels – BOUNCE XL, Court TV, Grit Xtra, ion, ion Mystery, and ion Plus – are launching, featuring popular programming from hit crime, drama, and action series. Additional NBCUniversal Local news channels for Boston, San Diego, and San Francisco/Bay Area and LX News. 

Paramount+’s Spanish series When You Least Expect It premieres August 18. The series explores the healing journey of five strangers, each dealing with the loss of a loved one, whose lives intersect in a group therapy session. The feel-good drama recounts the moments that derive from death while optimistically portraying how, despite the wounds, it is possible to laugh, love, and, most importantly, live again. 

TMZ Investigates: What Really Happened to Richard Simmons premieres August 22 on Fox. What really happened to beloved fitness icon Richard Simmons, who has not been seen for more than eight years? There are many theories — his housekeeper is holding him hostage, his beloved dog died and left him devastated, his medical issues made it too difficult to continue working, he was burnt out listening to other people’s problems, or maybe he was transitioning to become a woman. Disney’s Firebuds premieres September 21 on Disney Channel, Disney Junior and Disney+. The music-filled series follows a group of friends, all children of first responders, who embark on adventures to help their community and learn what it truly means to be a hero. It follows a boy named Bo and his fire engine best friend Flash as they team up with their first responder friends to help others in their community with problems big and small. Each episode is comprised of two 11-minute stories that showcase the importance of teamwork, helping fellow citizens and volunteerism. The creative team worked with consultants from RespectAbility to help populate the diverse communities of Gearbox Grove and Motopolis featured in the series.
