Prime Video has canceled Paper Girls after one season. The series is based on Brian K. Vaughan and Cliff Chiang’s comic series of the same name. Legendary Television is looking to shop the series. The series is well worth a watch even in cancellation!

Hulu has renewed The Handmaid’s Tale for a sixth and final season. The renewal comes ahead of the fifth season premiere September 14. The streamer is also developing The Testaments, a follow-up to The Handmaid’s Tale, which picks up years later. 

The upcoming Criminal Minds revival series on Paramount+ will be titled Criminal Minds: Evolution. Zach Gilford will also join the cast in a recurring role. He will play Elias Voit, an operations analyst for a global cyber-security firm who has a dark side and obsession with death. Original cast members reprising their roles include Joe Mantegna, A.J. Cook, Kirsten Vangsness, Aisha Tyler, Adam Rodriguez and Paget Brewster. 

Hulu has canceled comedy series Maggie after one season. The series was initially ordered at ABC but was moved to the streamer when it didn’t get a slot on the schedule. 

National Treasure: Edge of History will premiere on Disney+ December 14 with two episodes. The series centers on the young heroine Jess – a brilliant and resourceful DREAMer with a natural talent for solving puzzles and a proclivity for unraveling good mysteries. In search of answers about her own family, Jess embarks on the adventure of a lifetime and recruits a few treasure-hunting friends – Tasha, Ethan, Oren and Liam – and an FBI agent to help uncover the truth about her parents and their connection to a long-lost Pan-American treasure.

NBC’s Quantum Leap premieres September 19. It’s been nearly 30 years since Dr. Sam Beckett stepped into the Quantum Leap accelerator and vanished. Now, a new team, led by physicist Ben Song, has been assembled to restart the project in hope of understanding the mysteries behind the machine and the man who created it.

Netflix’s limited series The Watcher stars Jennifer Coolidge, Naomi Watts and Bobby Cannavale.  The series comes from Ryan Murphy and will premiere in the fall.

Marvel’s She-Hulk is currently streaming on Disney+. Jennifer Walters, an attorney specializing in superhuman-oriented legal cases, must navigate the complicated life of a single, 30-something who also happens to be a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered hulk. A new midseason teaser is out now. 

Josh Groban has been cast as The Beast in ABC’s Beauty and the Beast: A 30th Celebration special. Joshua Henry will play Gaston and Rita Moreno will act as narrator. H.E.R was previously cast as Belle. The two hour special will premiere December 15 on ABC. 

Will Forte will star in Pixar’s Win or Lose. The Disney+ series is the first Pixar full length project after releasing multiple short series. The series will premiere in 2023. 

Michael Mando has been cast in Apple TV+’s Sinking Spring. He joins Brian Tyree Henry in the crime drama series based on the book Dope Thief by Dennis Tafoya.

Eman Esfandi has been cast as Ezra Bridger in Disney+’s Ahsoka. The Star Wars series stars Rosario Dawson reprising her live action role from The Mandalorian. 

Stephen Fry has joined the cast of Apple TV+’s The Morning Show. He will recur alongside Tig Notaro and Julianna Margulies, new series regulars Nicole Beharie and Jon Hamm and returning Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon

Olivia Scott Welch has been cast in AMC’s upcoming new series Straight Man. The series stars Bob Odenkirk and Mireille Enos. 

Angelique Cabral will appear in the upcoming third season of ABC’s Big Sky. She will play the former wife of the character played by new series regular Jensen Ackles.

Season 33 of The Simpsons will begin streaming on Disney+ October 5. Additionally a new short was released on Disney+ titled Welcome to the Club. In the short, it’s Disney+ Day and Lisa Simpson has her heart set on the ultimate princess transformation. After meeting some of Disney’s most notorious villains, Lisa is surprised to learn being bad just might be more fun.  

Netflix’s new series House of Ninjas will premiere in 2024. The series tells the story of the last ninjas to remain in modern times. Kento Kaku, Yosuke Eguchi, Tae Kimura, Kengo Kora, Aju Makita, and Nobuko Miyamoto star. 

The new season of Alaskan Bush People premieres on Discovery Channel October 2. It’s been one year since the death of beloved patriarch, Billy Brown, and the Wolfpack must figure out how to navigate their own personal lives while keeping their father’s dream and legacy alive. As the siblings heed their own callings, one question looms: can the strength of the Wolfpack help them survive new, overwhelming adversity? 

Comedy special Yvonne Orji: A Whole Me. premieres on HBO October 1. In her second HBO stand-up special, Orji uses therapy as a thruline to discuss her evolving thoughts on friendship, dating, adulting, and why guys need better friends. A unique mash-up of stand-up comedy with scripted vignettes, the special showcases Orji’s range and vulnerability, while also serving as a no-holds-barred therapy session for both the artist and the audience in a beautiful mix of heart, humor and healing. 

Disney+’s Tierra Incognita is streaming now. Eric returns to his hometown to solve the mystery of his parents’ disappearance eight years ago. He was raised by his maternal grandparents along with his sister, but runs away to live in the horror-themed amusement park that belonged to his parents and was the last place where they were seen alive. In the town, Eric will meet three people who will be crucial on his path: Pablo, his childhood best friend whose friendship will prove to be unconditional; Lila, a girl Eric always felt attracted to; and his aunt Carmen, who will make him understand that he will only be able to walk the path of truth if he has his family’s support. His return coincides with the release of an unknown entity, that attacks the inhabitants of the town. Only with the help of his friends and family will Eric have a chance to solve all the mysteries hidden in the amusement park.
