The Great British Baking Show Collection 10 premieres on Netflix September 16 with new episodes airing every Friday. The ten episode series follows a group of amateur bakers as they compete against each other in a series of challenges, attempting to impress judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith with their baking skills. One contestant is eliminated each week, and the winner is selected from the contestants who reach the finals.
James Jordan, LaMonica Garrett and Dave Annable will star in Paramount+’s upcoming new series Lioness. They join Zoe Saldaña and Laysla De Oliveira in the series from Taylor Sheridan. All three of the new adds have worked with Sheridan on his previous series. The series is based on a real-life CIA program and follows Cruz Manuelos, a rough-around-the-edges but passionate young Marine recruited to join the CIA’s Lioness Engagement Team to help bring down a terrorist organization from within.
Netflix announced The Vince Staples Show will be coming to the streamer. Vince Staples will star in the scripted comedy series that is loosely inspired by Staples’ life, set in Long Beach, California.
The new season of The Real Housewives of Potomac premieres on Bravo October 9 with a supersized premiere. Returning for the new season are Gizelle Bryant, Karen Huger, Ashley Darby, Robyn Dixon, Candiace Dillard Bassett, Dr. Wendy Osefo and Mia Thornton. Freevee has ordered comedy series Clean Slate to series. Starring Laverne Cox and George Wallace, the series comes from Norman Lear’s Act III Productions. It was initially developed at NBC before moving to Amazon’s studios. The series follows a car wash owner whose son returns home seventeen years later as a trans woman.
Abbott Elementary will serve up more fan favorite episodes for and end of the Summer marathon September 7 on ABC. Episodes include “Step Class,” “Open House,” “Desking,” and “Ava vs. Superintendent.” The new season premieres on ABC September 21.
