Season seven of Outlander will premiere on Starz in Summer 2023. Several returning characters and new additions to the “Outlander” family include Charles Vandervaart as “William Ransom,” Izzy Meikle-Small as “Rachel Hunter” and Joey Phillips as “Denzell Hunter,” as well as returning fan-favorites Caitríona Balfe “Claire Fraser,” Sam Heughan “Jamie Fraser,” Sophie Skelton “Brianna MacKenzie,” Richard Rankin “Roger MacKenzie,” John Bell “Young Ian,” David Berry “Lord John Grey,” Caitlin O’Ryan “Lizzie Beardsley” and Paul Gorman “Josiah” and “Keziah Beardsley.” 

Anime series Tomo-chan Is a Girl! will premiere on Crunchyroll January 4. It will release in English Dub and Sub. The series is a youthful romantic comedy between a boyish girl and her dense childhood friend. Tomo Aizawa (Tomo-chan) wants her childhood friend Junichiro Kubota to see her as an actual girl, but every attempt ends up in vain. Will Junichiro ever realize Tomo’s romantic feelings towards him?!

Season two of Fantasy Island premieres on Fox January 2. The series takes place at a luxury resort, where literally any fantasy requested by guests is fulfilled, although they rarely turn out as expected. Delving into the “what if” questions – both big and small – that keep us awake at night, each episode will tell emotional, provocative stories about people who arrive with dreams and desires and depart enlightened and transformed through the magical realism of Fantasy Island.

Three day marathons of classic ’90 sitcoms Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper and Step by Step come to truTV for this Christmas and New Year’s weekend. A new Avatar sequel series to Avatar: The Last Airbender and the Legend of Korra is reportedly in development. The potential followup series from Avatar Studios is on track for a 2025 release on Paramount+. It would take place over a hundred years following the events of The Legend of Korra and feature a new Avatar on Earth. 

Netflix is developing a Stranger Things anime series. The potential series would follow two brothers in Tokyo who encounter the Upside Down. The project from The Duffer Brothers was teased when they resigned a deal with Netflix, looking to expand the world of Stranger Things when the series ends with its upcoming fifth and final season. 

Niall Horan, Chance the Rapper, Kelly Clarkson and Blake Shelton are set as hosts for Season 23 of The Voice. The new season will be the final for original judge Blake Shelton.
