Futurama -- Season 11 -- After a brief ten-year hiatus, Futurama has crawled triumphantly from the cryogenic tube, its full original cast and satirical spirit intact. The ten all-new episodes of season eleven have something for everyone. New viewers will be able to pick up the series from here, while long-time fans will recognize payoffs to decades-long mysteries – including developments in the epic love story of Fry and Leela, the mysterious contents of Nibbler's litter box, the secret history of evil Robot Santa, and the whereabouts of Kif and Amy's tadpoles. The Futurama revival returns for season eleven on hulu July 24. Original cast members John DiMaggio, Billy West, Katey Sagal, Tress MacNeille, Maurice LaMarche, Lauren Tom, Phil LaMarr, and David Herman are all returning. The ten all-new episodes of season eleven have something for everyone. New viewers will be able to pick up the series from here, while long-time fans will recognize payoffs to decades-long mysteries – including developments in the epic love story of Fry and Leela, the mysterious contents of Nibbler’s litter box, the secret history of evil Robot Santa, and the whereabouts of Kif and Amy’s tadpoles. Meanwhile there’s a whole new pandemic in town as the crew explores the future of vaccines, bitcoin, cancel culture, and streaming TV. The series originally aired on Fox, revived as straight to DVD stories, then a new run on Comedy Central. 

Season four, part two of Manifest premieres on Netflix June 2. In the aftermath of Angelina unleashing a devastating volcanic fissure, the passengers face severe scrutiny in a world fueled by 828er hate, no longer free to solve their own Callings without constant supervision by the unscrupulous 828 Registry. A mysterious accident delivers ominous warnings on a biblical scale that will further jeopardize the livelihood of all the passengers. As Michaela grieves the loss of her beloved husband Zeke, she must team up with her old flame Jared to find new methods to investigate Callings. Meanwhile, Ben and Saanvi attempt to collaborate with the Registry authorities, which only leads to dire results for the passengers. Miraculously, a mythological event reactivates Cal’s sapphire-laden dragon scar, offering a glimmer of hope for the 828ers to survive the rapidly approaching Death Date. But Angelina’s nefarious sapphire powers continue to wreak havoc, leading to a struggle between good and evil down to their very last day in this most terrifying, suspenseful and joyous chapter of the Manifest story. 

Limited series Full Circle premieres on Max July 13. An investigation into a botched kidnapping uncovers long-held secrets connecting multiple characters and cultures in present day New York City. The six episode series stars Zazie Beetz, Claire Danes, Jim Gaffigan, Jharrel Jerome, Timothy Olyphant, CCH Pounder, Phaldut Sharma, Adia, Sheyi Cole, Gerald Jones, Suzanne Savoy, Ethan Stoddard, Lucian Zanes and Dennis Quaid. 

Nimona premieres on Netflix June 30. A knight framed for a terrible crime turns to a shape-shifting teenage girl to prove his innocence. But what if she’s the monster he’s sworn to destroy? The animated film was originally canceled by Disney before it was picked up at Netflix. It is based on the graphic novel of the same name by ND Stevenson. 

Lifetime’s limited series V.C. Andrews’ Dawn premieres July 8. The series focuses on one of Andrews’ Dawn Cutler novels, including “Dawn”, “Secrets of the Morning”, “Twilight’s Child”, and “Midnight Whispers”, and delves into the dark and twisted histories of the Cutler, Booth and Longchamp families. Brec Bassinger takes on the title role of Dawn Longchamp and will be joined by Emmy winner Donna Mills as Lillian Cutler. Also starring are Joey McIntyre as Michael Sutton; Jesse Metcalfe as Ormand Longchamp; Khobe Clarke as Jimmy Longchamp; and Fran Drescher as Agnes Morris. 

The CW is no longer developing a live action take on The Powerpuff Girls. The network previously commissioned a pilot, but decided against ordering it to series. Instead, they intended to redevelop the idea. The project starred Chloe Bennet, Dove Cameron, Yana Perrault, and Donald Faison. The network is also no longer developing the Arrowverse project Justice U, its Zorro series with a female lead, its Archie project Jake Chang, or any other projects set up before the network was taken over by Nexstar. 

Comedy Central has canceled Tooning Out The News and Hell of a Week with Charlamagne Tha God. Tooning Out The News ran for three seasons, with the first two season of the animated series streaming on CBS All Access/Paramount+ before moving to the network. Hell of a Week with Charlamagne Tha God ran for two seasons. 

Dean Geyer, Owen Thiele and Thomas Lennon have joined the cast of Nickelodeon’s Zoey 102, a followup film to the series Zoey 101. Over a decade after the iconic series ended, Zoey Brooks is still trying to figure out life and love, this time in her 20s. The Pacific Coast Academy (PCA) gang returns to Malibu for an over-the-top wedding turned high school reunion for the books. Jamie Lynn Spears returns as Zoey Brooks, who graduated alongside the first female class ever to be allowed into Pacific Coast Academy. Erin Sanders returns as Zoey’s best friend, Quinn Pensky. Sean Flynn returns as Zoey’s on again, off again love interest, Chase Matthews. Also returning are Matthew Underwood, as Logan Reese; Christopher Massey, as Michael Barret; Abby Wilde, as Stacey Dillsen; and Jack Salvatore, as Mark Del Figgalo. 

Netflix’s four part docuseries event Unknown premieres July 3. The docuseries tells breathtaking stories of adventure and exploration in awe-inspiring uncharted territories. Premiering weekly, each film pushes the boundaries of knowledge, ventures into unexplored regions, and unlocks the secrets of our world through the stories of remarkable people and places never before captured on camera. Disney will be removing a slew of series from their streamers, Disney+ and hulu in the coming weeks. They are the latest company to remove content. The content could end up on other streamers or FAST channels. Series being removed include The Mysterious Benedict Society, Big Shot, Turner & Hooch, Willow, The World According To Jeff Goldblum, Earth To Ned, Dollface, Y: The Last Man, Maggie, Little Demon, and more.

Edi Gathegi has joined the cast of Netflix’s limited series Zero Day. He joins Robert De Niro, Lizzy Caplan, Jesse Plemons, Joan Allen and Connie Britton in the six episode thriller series. 

Apple TV+ announced a stacked kids and family summer slate. Season three of The Snoopy Show premieres June 9. A new special Snoopy Presents: One-of-a-Kind Marcie premieres August 18. Camp Snoopy and another special Snoopy Presents: Welcome Home, Franklin will premiere in 2024. A new special Duck & Goose premieres June 9. Season two of Lovely Little Farm premieres June 16. Season two of Duck & Goose premieres July 7. New Eva the Owlet shorts premiere August 4. Classic episodes of Peanuts Anthology III and IV premiere September 22. 

The 2024 Critics Choice Awards will air on The CW January 14, 2024. The awards ceremony, which aired previously on the network in 2023, is one of the only live non sports events at the moment. The network may continue to search for new ceremonies to air.

Four Max Original documentary specials 100 Years of Warner Bros. are set to debut May 25 and June 1 in celebration of the studio’s 100th anniversary. Limited docuseries Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets premieres on Prime Video June 2. The docuseries exposes the truth beneath the wholesome Americana surface of reality TV’s favorite mega-family, The Duggars, and the radically controversial organization behind them: The Institute in Basic Life Principles (IBLP). A number of ex-IBLP survivors bravely come forward and reveal the abusive practices that kept them in a living nightmare. For the first time, Jill Duggar Dillard will go on the record with her own story and be joined by family and close family friends who witnessed what went on behind the scenes firsthand. While details of the family and their scandals unfold, we realize they’re part of an insidious, much-larger threat already in motion, with democracy itself in peril. 

True Crime Story: Look Into My Eyes premieres June 15 on SundanceTV, AMC+ and Sundance Now. The four-part limited series unfurls the bizarre story of Dr. George Kenney and his fall from grace after 10 years as a beloved principal at North Port High School in Florida where he practiced hypnosis on students. In 2011, three teenage students died after a series of suspicious events. When a local media story questioned his involvement, the case exploded into global news. The series investigates events leading up to these untimely deaths and the tragic aftermath as victims’ families, eyewitnesses, experts, and people involved attempt to unpack what really happened.
