Monarch: Legacy of Monsters premieres November 17 on Apple TV+ with the first two episodes. Following the thunderous battle between Godzilla and the Titans that leveled San Francisco, and the shocking revelation that monsters are real, the series tracks two siblings following in their father’s footsteps to uncover their family’s connection to the secretive organization known as Monarch. Clues lead them into the world of monsters and ultimately down the rabbit hole to Army officer Lee Shaw (played by Kurt Russell and Wyatt Russell), taking place in the 1950s and half a century later where Monarch is threatened by what Shaw knows. The dramatic saga – spanning three generations – reveals buried secrets and the ways that epic, earth-shattering events can reverberate through our lives. 

AMC’s Monsieur Spade will premiere in early 2024. The six episode limited series stars Clive Owen as the hard-boiled private detective Sam Spade. The series centers around the infamous protagonist of American writer Dashiell Hammett’s 1930 classic novel “The Maltese Falcon.” The year is 1963, and the legendary Detective Sam Spade is enjoying his retirement in the South of France. By contrast to his days as a private eye in San Francisco, Spade’s life in Bozouls is peaceful and quiet. But the rumored return of his old adversary will change everything. Six beloved nuns have been brutally murdered at the local convent. As the town grieves, secrets emerge, and new leads are established. Spade learns that the murders are somehow connected to a mysterious child who is believed to possess great powers. 

Matt Rife: Natural Selection is set to premiere on Netflix this year. The comedy special will be filmed September 22 and 23 at DAR Constitution Hall in Washington DC during his sold-out 260+ date ProbleMATTic World Tour. After having amassed a large social following through his viral content showcasing his quick wit and crowd work, Matt embarked on a sold-out world tour. Now in his first Netflix comedy special, Matt leaves no topic untouched – from crystals to social media trolls – and no audience member spared. 

The 72nd Miss USA Pageant  will air live on The CW September 29. This will be the first time airing on broadcast television in nearly a decade. Companion pageant Miss Teen USA will be available to stream on The CW App and cwtv.com also on September 29. Hosts and judges will be announced at a later time. 

Wynonna Judd will host the holiday party of the year with Christmas at the Opry, airing December 7 on NBC. Additionally, she will receive the Country Champion Award at the inaugural People’s Choice Country Awards, airing live on September 28 on NBC. Both events will originate from the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville.

Roku has begun removing content from its streaming service. Series removed include Most Dangerous Game, Slip, Reno 911, Panhandle, and The Newsreader. The streamer also removed some unscripted and reality series. 

Fauda which streams on Netflix in the US, has been renewed for a fifth season. The Israeli series originally announced the fourth season would be the final season. The series follows a top Israeli agent who comes out of retirement to hunt for a Palestinian fighter he thought he’d killed, setting a chaotic chain of events into motion.

21 Savage and Cardi B lead the BET Hip Hop Awards 2023 nominations with twelve each, followed by Drake, with nine nods. The ceremony will tape from Atlanta, GA, on October 3 and will premiere October 10, at 9 PM ET/PT on BET. 

Niiice Shot with Stephen Curry Presented by Genesis premieres on Golf Channel September 12. The series showcases Curry alongside long-time Golden State Warriors teammate Andre Iguodala, golfing icon and 2014 U.S. Women’s Open champion Michelle Wie West, and swing coach Alex Riggs. The four episode series also includes appearances from Rory McIlroy as he shares his unique insights and perspectives on how Curry can best execute four shots. 

ACC Football on The CW kicks off September 9 with the Cincinnati Bearcats at the Pitt Panthers. The network has also set this year’s broadcast team, led by play-by-play announcer Tom Werme and analyst James Bates calling the games all season in the booth. Joining Werme and Bates are lead sideline reporter Treavor Scales and Tabitha Turner, who will serve as sideline reporter for select games. The CW Network has secured exclusive broadcast rights to 50 Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) college football and basketball games each season through 2026-27. Football games air every Saturday throughout the season in afternoon and in primetime. In addition to 13 football games, The CW will broadcast 28 men’s basketball games and nine women’s basketball games. These games will be featured in December, January and February with men’s basketball doubleheaders taking place every Saturday afternoon and women’s basketball games on Sunday afternoons. 

AXS TV will air the 2023 Major League Pickleball Season 2 live events beginning September 22. MLP is the preeminent team-based professional pickleball league, putting the spotlight on the absolute best pickleball competitors from around the world. The League features nearly 100 of the best athletes in the sport in a unique coed team format, easy to understand scoring, the largest payouts in prize money across all of pro pickleball, and an impressive roster of A-list celebrity owners and successful business icons. As part of the partnership AXS TV will become the official music sponsor on site at the MLP 2023 events. 

MSNBC’s Inside With Jen Psaki will be expanding to two days with an additional airing Mondays at 8PM. The series will continune to also air at 12PM on Sundays. All In with Chris Hayes will now run Tuesday through Friday in the 8PM slot. 

Nicki Minaj is set for a triumphant return to the MTV stage, reprising her dual role as show emcee and performer for the 2023 VMAs live from New Jersey’s Prudential Center on September 12 at 8PM ET/PT. Fall Out Boy, Metro Boomin with Future, A Boogie Wit da Hoodie, Swae Lee & NAV, and Peso Pluma add even greater starpower to the roster of global music stars set to perform.  

The new season of The Club will premiere on Netflix September 15. With her husband gone, Rasel raises her daughter at Club Istanbul with the help of her mother, but their relationships are tested by loss and betrayal.

Star Trek is embarking on an epic collaboration with Kid Cudi that includes music, gaming and fashion to launch Star Trek’s new “Boldly Be” campaign. The collaboration includes Kid Cudi’s unique lens on music with an original song inspired by Star Trek, an interactive gaming component and a bold fashion collaboration with Star Trek that will launch this October. Additional details will be announced at a later date.

Season seven of Totally Spies! is coming in 2024. The Spies are back for a brand-new season with a new look. The series follows three high school besties – Sam, Clover, and Alex – as they effortlessly juggle homework, crushes, and hanging out with friends with secret missions for WOOHP, the World Organization of Human Protection. From Paris to LA, these teen spies tackle villains using the coolest gadgets and teamwork. A must-watch blend of comedy, action, and drama, this animated series is perfect for those looking for fierce female leads and captivating adventures.
