Netflix debuted new photos of Fire Nation characters from Avatar: The Last Airbender. Images include Daniel Dae Kim as “Fire Lord Ozai,” Paul Sun-Hyung Lee as “General Iroh,” Ken Leung as “Commander Zhao,” and Elizabeth Yu as “Princess Azula.” Plus a new image of Dallas Liu as “Prince Zuko.” The eight episode series premiere in 2024. A live-action reimagining of the beloved animated series following Aang, the young Avatar, as he learns to master the four elements (Water, Earth, Fire and Air) to restore balance to a world threatened by the terrifying Fire Nation. 

NBC has renewed That’s My Jam for a third season. Inspired by the most popular Tonight Show games, the series features two teams of two celebrities competing for a charity of their choice in a series of music, dance, and trivia-based games and musical performances. The Jam Band, the aptly named house band, is led by Adam Blackstone. 

Season seven of Elite premieres October 20 on Netflix. Omar is back. Iván has a broken heart. Isadora deals with her dangerous family. Is it possible for the students at Las Encinas to trust one another?

Season two of The Santa Clauses will premiere on Disney+ November 8. The Calvin family is back at the North Pole, as Scott Calvin continues his role as Santa Claus after his retirement plans were thwarted when he failed to find a worthy successor in season one. Now that Scott and his family have successfully saved Christmas, Scott turns his focus towards training his son Cal to eventually take over the “family business” as Santa Claus. 

Netflix’s Geeked Week 2023 will kick off November 6 (aka Stranger Things Day) and run through November 12. The ultimate virtual fan fest will feature debuts, exclusive news, first looks, behind-the-scenes secrets, merch drops, and more fun surprises from your favorite series, films, animation and games. It will feature updates on 3 Body Problem, Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Brothers Sun, Damsel, Devil May Cry, Leave The World Behind, Rebel Moon, Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft, and even more jaw-dropping reveals.

Netflix will host its first ever live sports event as Drive to Survive and Full Swing athletes tee up and face off in an all-star golf tournament. The drivers and golfers will pair up to compete in a match play tournament at Wynn Golf Club at Wynn Las Vegas, the only 18-hole, championship golf course on the Las Vegas Strip, to kick off the week of the inaugural Formula 1 Heineken Silver Las Vegas Grand Prix beginning at 3p.m. PT / 6p.m. ET on November 14. Formula 1 Drivers include Alex Albon (Williams Racing), Pierre Gasly (BWT Alpine F1 Team), Lando Norris (McLaren Racing), and Carlos Sainz (Scuderia Ferrari). PGA Tour Golfers include Rickie Fowler, Max Homa, Collin Morikawa and Justin Thomas. Four pairs will play an eight-hole match with the top two teams advancing to the final hole, where they will battle for the chance to win the inaugural Netflix Cup title. 

Hannah Waddingham: Home for Christmas premieres November 22 on Apple TV+. The musical event will ring in the holidays as Hannah Waddingham welcomes special guests for a musical extravaganza at the London Coliseum. The special was recorded live in front of an audience, and audiences around the world will be able to join Waddingham in celebrating her favorite time of year as she performs festive classics accompanied by a spectacular big band. 

BTS: Yet to Come will premiere on Prime Video November 9. The special took place in October 2022, when the seven-member band performed in Busan, South Korea. As a part of Busan’s World Expo 2030 bid, the concert was held at the Asiad Main Stadium with approximately 50,000 people in attendance. BTS features RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook. It will include 19 performances of their hit tracks, such as “Dynamite,” “Butter,” “RUN,” “MIC Drop,” “Yet To Come (The Most Beautiful Moment),” and more. Touching speeches, electrifying stages, spectacular fireworks, and more will be palpable as consumers get a concert-like experience. 

Nate Bargatze will host Saturday Night Live October 28 for the first time. Foo Fighters will serve as musical guest for the ninth time. Bad Bunny was previously announced to host and perform on the October 21 episode.

Prime Video has acquired the rights to BBC Studios’ global hit game show format The 1% Club. The series is a unique, compelling and funny game show that tests the nation’s intelligence, based on a scientific survey. This entertainment format is not about what you learned at school or your ability to memorize facts. It’s a chance to test how your brain works through a series of questions that often lead to extremely entertaining answers. Everyone is on a level playing field which means anyone can play along. Whether you’re a contestant vying for the cash prize or a viewer playing with your friends and family, answer enough questions correctly and you could earn yourself a place in the 1% Club: an elite group of people who can honestly say they’ve outwitted 99% of the population. 

New OWN Spotlight special will premiere this fall on OWN. OWN Spotlight: Oprah & Kerry Washington will premiere October 28. OWN Spotlight: Oprah & Nicole Avant will premiere November 4. OWN Spotlight: Oprah, Courtney B. Vance & Dr. Robin will premiere November 11. 

Comedy special Trevor Wallace: Pterodactyl will premiere on Prime Video November 14. You know Wallace from the relatable characters he’s unleashed across the internet, which have amassed billions of views. In his first stand-up special, he introduces you to the real-life characters he’s come face-to-face with, as Wallace navigates male birth control, smoking oregano, his unique birds-and-the-bees talk, experiencing his first Buc-ee’s, the red flags of dating, and the worst thing you could ever order on a date. 

HGTV has renewed Celebrity IOU for a fourth season. The network has also ordered two new series from Drew and Jonathan Scott. Backed By The Bros will see the guys offer their invaluable insight and resources to help inexperienced entrepreneurs find success with their high-stakes investment properties. Don’t Hate Your House with the Property Brothers will see the brothers find a way to fix problematic homes for frustrated families who desperately want to love their house. All three will premiere in 2024. 

Showtime Sports will be shutting down later this year. Showtime will continue to air, support and honor obligations for the remaining 2023 boxing slate through the end of the year. CBS Sports will likely be the network’s go to place for sports moving forward as the companies ties grow closer. 

National Geographic announced new upcoming series. New series include Inside the FBI: The ’70s, The Color of Victory: Heroes of WW2 and Waking the Dead. Also announced is No Taste Like Home with Antoni Porowski. 

Season 15 of Ink Master will premiere on Paramount+ November 1. The series is hosted by Joel Madden with DJ Tambe joining judges Ryan Ashley and Nikko Hurtado.  In the new season, 15 new artists enter the shop to battle in the ultimate tattoo competition, where they will compete in grueling Flash Challenges and epic Elimination Tattoos in hopes of walking away with $250,000 and the title of “Ink Master.” 

In Love & Toxic: Blue Therapy premieres October 19 on BET+. These couples are breaking emotional barriers and mending their relationships, but not without a fight!

Hidden Assets returns with new episodes on Acorn TV November 13. Bibi Brannigan, the ship chandler who used to operate out of the Antwerp, Belgium port, has retreated to Ireland to deal with the fallout from the Belgian bombings occurring a year earlier. Although estranged from her husband James Melnick, the sudden death of her father-in-law Richard Melnick brings Bibi back to Antwerp. Hoping to see her son Arthur at the memorial service, Bibi is warned off by Richard’s successor Frances Swann: any deal she had with Richard died with him.
