Season two of Halo premieres February 8 on Paramount+. Master Chief John-117 leads his team of elite Spartans against the alien threat known as the Covenant. In the wake of a shocking event on a desolate planet, John cannot shake the feeling that his war is about to change and risks everything to prove what no one else will believe – that the Covenant is preparing to attack humanity’s greatest stronghold. With the galaxy on the brink, John embarks on a journey to find the key to humankind’s salvation, or its extinction: the Halo.

The Good Doctor will be ending with its upcoming seventh season. Dr. Shaun Murphy, a surgeon with autism and savant syndrome, continues to use his extraordinary medical gifts at St. Bonaventure Hospital’s surgical unit. Following their long-awaited wedding festivities and his promotion to surgical attending, Shaun and Lea’s relationship is immediately put to the test and they must learn to navigate life together as a married couple. Meanwhile, the team is dealing with changes at the hospital and in their personal lives that will present new emotional and interpersonal challenges for them. 

Mr. & Mrs. Smith premieres February 2 on Prime Video with all eight episodes. In this version, two lonely strangers land jobs working for a mysterious spy agency that offers them a glorious life of espionage, wealth, world travel, and a dream brownstone in Manhattan. The catch? New identities in an arranged marriage as Mr. and Mrs. John and Jane Smith. Now hitched, John and Jane navigate a high-risk mission every week while also facing a new relationship milestone. Their complex cover story becomes even more complicated when they catch real feelings for each other. What’s riskier: espionage or marriage? 

Genius: MLK/X premieres February 1 on National Geographic. The series explores simultaneously the formative years, pioneering accomplishments, dueling philosophies and key personal relationships of both Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X. While King advanced racial equality through nonviolent activism, X advocated for Black empowerment, identity and self-determination. The eight-part series also brings their wives, Coretta Scott King and Betty Shabazz, to the forefront and shows them as formidable equals of the Movement. While King and X met only once and often challenged each other’s views, the two visionaries, with their wives leading by their sides, ultimately rose to pioneer a movement that lives on today. 

Masters of the Universe: Revolution premieres January 25 on Netflix. It’s technology versus magic when He-Man and the heroic warriors face the forces of Skeletor and something more in the new epic chapter in the battle for Castle Grayskull! The newly mechanized Skeletor, armed with the might of Motherboard, attacks the heart of Eternia while Prince Adam grapples with a new responsibility and what that means for him as He-Man! Adam is forced to choose between the scepter or the sword, and a life as either the King or the Champion! Meanwhile, the new Sorceress Teela searches for the secret of Snake Magic in the mists of Darksmoke to rebuild a magic realm and help He-Man hold off the greatest threat Eternia has ever faced: the return of the despot Hordak, the ruthless leader of the Horde Empire! 

The third and final season of Hightown premieres January 26 on Starz. Fishery Service Agent Jackie Quiñones is off the wagon and off the force in the final season, but that doesn’t stop her from careening into the dark underbelly of picture-perfect Cape Cod to save a missing woman and a murdered sex worker. Meanwhile, her former colleagues Ray Abruzzo and Alan Santille are focused on taking down drug syndicates, but despite their best efforts, the drugs keep flowing. This attracts Shane Frawley, a gangster from Boston looking to cut himself in on the Cape’s drug trade – and making an enemy of Osito while he’s at it. Alliances are made and old loyalties are questioned in this beautiful but corrupt place where nothing is as it seems. 

Limited series Expats premieres January 26 on Prime Video with the first two episodes. Set against the vibrant and tumultuous tapestry of 2014 Hong Kong, Expats centers on three American women – Margaret, Hilary, and Mercy – whose lives intersect after a sudden family tragedy. The series interrogates privilege and explores what happens when the line between victimhood and culpability becomes blurred. 

Season twelve of Curb Your Enthusiasm premieres February 4 on HBO. The new season will also be the series’ final season. Don’t be mad he’s leaving, be mad he stayed so long.

Isabela Merced has been cast in the upcoming second season of The Last Of Us. Merced will play Dina in the HBO series based on the video game series of the same name. She joins recently cast Kaitlyn Dever and Young Mazino as Abby and Jesse. 

Summer House returns on Bravo February 22. Summer should be fun, and for these housemates, that means a fresh start! Eight favorites return to the Hamptons, along with two new housemates. Everyone seems poised to indulge in the most carefree summer yet, but while some relationships start to take off, others become more fractured than anyone could have imagined. Returning to the share house are Amanda Batula, Kyle Cooke, Paige DeSorbo, Lindsay Hubbard, Ciara Miller, Danielle Olivera, Gabby Prescod and Carl Radke. Joining them are new friends Jesse Solomon and West Wilson. 

Peacock has ordered comedy series Laid starring Stephanie Hsu. A woman finds out her former lovers are dying in unusual ways and must go back through her sex timeline to confront her past in order to move forward. It is a f**cked up rom-com where the answer to “Why can’t I find love, is there something wrong with me?” is a resounding “Yes. There is. The problem is definitely you.” 

The Night Agent has added cast ahead of its upcoming second season. Joining as series regulars are Berto Colon, Louis Herthum, and Arienne Mandi. Brittany Snow and Teddy Sears will recur in the new season of the Netflix series as well. 

Thai rom-com series Ready, Set, Love is coming soon to Netflix. The series unfolds in a world where a mysterious plague has decimated the world, resulting in the birth of significantly more females than males. Men, now a rarity, are revered as “national treasures,” who are well taken care of by the government. Women who want to marry them must win their affections in a government-sponsored competition called “Ready, Set, Love”. The story starts with Day, an ordinary young woman who finds herself reluctantly participating in this contest. Here, she crosses paths with Son, the most sought-after man, and sparks fly. As their relationship grows, they uncover a conspiracy operating beneath the surface, posing a threat to their love and the world as they know it. 

Syndicated talk series The Drew Barrymore Show has been renewed for a fifth season. The series hosted by Drew Barrymore airs on most CBS stations. 

New seasons of WWE Rivals and Biography: WWE Legends premiere February 25 on A&E. The series continue to explore the lives and careers of some of the most beloved and well-known WWE Superstars and give viewers unparalleled access through in-depth interviews and archival footage. 

A Killer Paradox premieres February 9 on Netflix. When one accidental killing leads to another, an average college student finds himself stuck in an endless cat-and-mouse chase with a shrewd detective.

Comedy special Jenny Slate: Seasoned Professional premieres February 23 on Prime Video. The highly anticipated special proves that being brave for love is worth it – even when it comes to pushing out a baby, stalking your therapist, or trusting your partner to not destroy you. 

Superhot: The Spicy World of Pepper People premieres January 22 on hulu with all ten episodes. Superhot spicy peppers are on fire lately – but while most experiment with heat, others live their lives in pursuit of fire. The ten episode series is a wild ride into the Spicy World of Pepper People – the self-proclaimed chili heads who have taken the chili pill and want to find out how deep the rabbit hole goes. It goes deep into a subculture fueled by spice: from the elite growers who strive to create new superhots to the chili eaters who chase the endorphin rush of consuming them. Along the way, one legendary chili head sets out on a quest to answer the spiciest of questions: is there a pepper that can challenge the world’s hottest? 

Kubra premieres January 18 on Netflix. When a suburban man receives messages that seem to predict the future, he develops a following – and powerful enemies.

Anime series The Weakest Tamer Began a Journey to Pick Up Trash premieres January 12 on Crunchyroll. It will receive a same day simuldub in addition to an English subtitled release. In Ivy’s world, stars are everything. She’s a Tamer, born to subdue monsters and animals, but she was also born starless! With her life in danger, Ivy flees into the forest where she befriends a weak little slime named Sora—the one creature she can tame. Together, the unlikely pair set off on a journey, salvaging rubbish to survive. Along the way they’ll win hearts, evade danger, and discover there’s more to starless Ivy than meets the eye!

Puppy Bowl celebrates 20 years with the puppiest Puppy Bowl ever on February 11. The three-hour television matchup will be the biggest yet, featuring 131 puppies, 73 shelters and rescues across 36 states and territories – including the all-time smallest pup, Sweetpea, at 1.7 lbs and the biggest, Levi the Great Dane at 72 lbs. Inspiring adoption stories will highlight the dedication and incredible work of rescues and shelters, as puppies from Team Ruff and Team Fluff take to the gridiron in the Puppy Bowl XX stadium to win the WAYFAIR “Lombarky” trophy and find their forever homes. To celebrate 20 years of the game, four previous Puppy Bowl players return to be inducted into the all-new Puppy Bowl Hall of Fame. 

Apple TV+ kicks off the New Year with a celebrated kids and family slate including an all-new Peanuts special, Snoopy Presents: Welcome Home, Franklin (February 16), and season two of The Jim Henson Company’s Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock (March 29). Season two of Sago Mini Friends premieres January 26.
