Doctor Who returns May 10 at 7:00 p.m. EDT on Disney+ with two new episodes. The new season follows the Doctor and Ruby Sunday through infinite adventures across time and space in the TARDIS. From the Regency era in England to war-torn futures, the duo champion the forces of good while encountering incredible friends and dangerous foes. A brand-new trailer from Disney+ will debut March 22.

Docuseries Hope on the Street premieres March 28 on Prime Video. The six episode docuseries highlights BTS member j-hope’s story and love for dancing as he begins a new journey in his 12th year since debut, returning to his dancer roots. Accompanied by his former instructor, the popping champion Boogaloo Kin, j-hope explores the streets of Osaka, Seoul, Paris, New York, and Gwangju, meeting inspiring street dancers along the way. Follow j-hope as he pursues a dream connecting his past, present, and future. The documentary will also feature songs from j-hope’s special album HOPE ON THE STREET VOL.1.
The voice cast for the upcoming animated Among Us series has been announced. Randall Park, Ashley Johnson, Yvette Nicole Brown and Elijah Wood will each voice characters for the series based on the game of the same name. In the game, members of your crew have been replaced by an alien shapeshifter intent on causing confusion, sabotaging the ship, and killing everyone. Root out the ‘Impostor’ or fall victim to its murderous designs. There is still no word on where the series will air.
Netflix has ordered Black Rabbit, a limited drama series starring Jason Bateman and Jude Law. When the owner of a New York City hotspot allows his turbulent brother back in his life, he opens the door to escalating dangers that threaten to bring down everything he’s built. Jason Bateman will direct the first two episodes.
Mariel Molino has been cast in NCIS: Origins. She joins Austin Stowell in the NCIS prequel series which follows a young Leroy Jethro Gibbs, originally played by Mark Harmon, who will narrate the series. The new series begins in 1991, years prior to the events of NCIS. Gibbs starts his career as a newly minted special agent at the fledgling NIS Camp Pendleton office where he forges his place on a gritty, ragtag team led by NCIS legend Mike Franks.
Delroy Lindo, Deon Cole, Diarra Kilpatrick, Donnie Wahlberg, Erika Alexander, Idris Elba, Jeffrey Wright, Keke Palmer, Kenya Barris, Kerry Washington, Leslie Jones, Lil Rel Howery, Morris Chestnut, Ryan Michelle Bathe, Sabrina Elba, Sterling K. Brown and Taraji P. Henson have been announced as presenters at the 55th NAACP Image Awards. Andra Day will also perform. Hosted by Queen Latifah, the ceremony will air live March 16 at 8:00 PM, ET/PT across 14 Paramount Networks. Red carpet coverage hosted by Terrence J, Naturi Naughton and Novi Brown will begin at 7 on BET, BET Her and VH1.
Pete Distad has been named the CEO of the upcoming new sports streaming service from ESPN, FOX and Warner Bros. Discovery. The innovative new platform will bring together the companies’ portfolios of sports networks and certain of their direct-to-consumer (DTC) sports services – including content from all the major professional sports leagues and college sports. The formation of the pay service is subject to the negotiation of definitive agreements amongst the parties. The platform would aggregate content to offer fans an extensive, dynamic lineup of sports content, aiming to provide a new and differentiated experience to serve sports fans, particularly those outside of the traditional pay TV bundle. By subscribing to this focused, all-in-one premier sports service, fans would have access to the linear sports networks including ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, SECN, ACCN, ESPNEWS, ABC, FOX, FS1, FS2, BTN, TNT, TBS, truTV, as well as ESPN+. The sports streaming offering, scheduled to launch in the fall of 2024, will be made available directly to consumers via a new app. Subscribers would also have the ability to bundle the product, including with Disney+, Hulu and/or Max. The name of the service and pricing will be announced at a later date.
