Star Wars: Tales of the Empire will premiere on Disney+ May 4. The series is a six-episode journey into the fearsome Galactic Empire through the eyes of two warriors on divergent paths, set during different eras. After losing everything, young Morgan Elsbeth navigates the expanding Imperial world toward a path of vengeance, while former Jedi Barriss Offee does what she must to survive a rapidly changing galaxy. The choices they make will define their destinies. 

Season two of The Serpent Queen will premiere on Starz this summer. The series tells the story of Catherine de Medici who, against all odds, became one of the most powerful and longest-serving rulers in French history. It is based on the book “Catherine de Medici: Renaissance Queen of France” by Leonie Frieda

Season three of Selling the OC premieres May 3 on Netflix. The Oppenheim Group’s OC agents are back for a fiery season with big homes and even bigger drama. In an office where betrayal and rumors spread like wildfire, you can’t put a price on loyalty – or reputation. 

Love Undercover premieres May 9 on Peacock. Today’s athletes are mega stars with extreme wealth, giant fandoms and lavish lifestyles. You could even call them royalty. And naturally, with any royal story, a fairytale is never too far away. The series is a modern-day fairytale meets buddy comedy about an elite group of international soccer stars who come to the United States on a secret quest for true love. We’ll follow them on an epic journey filled with drama, heartbreak and self-discovery. Can they win over the ladies without their fame and fortune? Will they manage to keep their true identities a secret? And will any of them fall for an American princess before inviting them back to their home countries and testing their relationships on the global stage. For these men, finding love is the #1 goal. 

Hulu has announced premiere dates for its new and returning series. Docuseires Mastermind: To Think Like a Killer will premiere June 13. Docuseries Perfect Wife: The Mysterious Disappearance of Sherri Papini premieres June 20. Season two of Hit-Monkey will premiere July 15. Season twelve of Futurama premieres July 29. Season five of Solar Opposites premieres August 12. 

New English dub episodes of anime series One Piece arrive on digital April 7. Microsoft Store will have Season 14, Voyage 15 (episodes 1062-1073) available. 

Netflix has announced the cast of Tyler Perry’s Beauty in Black. Taylor Polidore Williams, Amber Reign Smith, Crystle Stewart, Ricco Ross, Debbi Morgan, Richard Lawson, Steven G. Norfleet, Julian Horton, Terrell Carter, Shannon Wallace, Bryan Tanaka, Joy Rovaris, Xavier Smalls, Charles Malik Whitfield, Tamera “Tee” Kissen, Ursula O. Robinson, Ashley Versher and George Middlebrook will star in the series, coming soon. The series comes from a previously announced creative partnership with Netflix, where Perry will write, direct, and produce feature films and series under a multi-year first-look deal. The series follows two women leading very different lives. While Kimmie is struggling to make a living after her mother kicked her out, and Mallory is running a successful business, they find themselves entangled in each other’s lives. 

Patton Oswalt, Debra Wilson, Phil LaMarr and Wayne Knight have been cast in the upcoming Among Us series. The animated series also features the voices of Randall Park, Ashley Johnson, Yvette Nicole Brown, Elijah Wood, Dan Stevens, Liv Hewson and Kimiko Glenn. No network is currently attached to the project. 

Zillow Gone Wild premieres on HGTV  May 3. The series is inspired by the exceedingly popular Instagram account that touts nearly two million followers who love outrageous, one-of-kind homes. Host Jack McBrayer will invite viewers to join him on tours of exceptionally weird, wacky and wild properties that sellers put on the market every day. It will feature the characters who have embraced non-traditional homes with their distinctive décor and imaginative architecture, as well as reveal the inventive ways to market a distinctive property. The series will explore each home’s unique history, as well as the intriguing backstories of the buyers and sellers in nine weekly episodes. Each abode will be ranked on attributes such as creativity, commitment to the theme and the home’s special qualities. In the end, HGTV will proclaim which house is the “wildest” of them all during the season finale. 

Avatar: The Last Airbender will have new executive producers for its recently renewed second and third seasons. Christine Boylan and Jabbar Raisani will take over duties for the final two seasons. The live-action reimagining of the beloved animated series will conclude the epic story as the four nations unite – Water. Earth. Fire. Air. – to bring The Legend of Aang to its proper conclusion. 

Docuseries Melissa Etheridge: I’m Not Broken is coming to Paramount+ later this year. The series tells an inspiring story of healing and transcendence through the power of music when five female residents from the Topeka Correctional Facility, a women’s prison in Kansas, write letters to Etheridge that she uses as inspiration to create and perform an original song for them. Having recently lost her son to opioids, Etheridge works to understand and interrupt the cycle of addiction while connecting with these women who, so often, are forgotten by society. Additionally, the docuseries explores themes of female incarceration, redemption, substance abuse, generational trauma, grief and healing. With female incarceration rates up 700 percent since 1980, Etheridge bonds with the women through the conduit of music as an act of empathy, understanding and hope. 

CMT has set an all-star tribute to country legend Toby Keith featuring a stacked lineup of one-of-a-kind performances from Brooks & Dunn, Lainey Wilson and Sammy Hagar, all backed by Toby’s longtime band, with special appearances by Lukas Nelson and Roger Clemens. The event will take place on the 2024 CMT Music Awards, hosted by Kelsea Ballerini, livefrom Austin, Texas’ Moody Center April 7 (8:00-11:00 PM ET/delayed PT) on CBS.

Theresa Caputo: Beyond the Readings premieres April 18 on Lifetime. The series follows Theresa as she explores the next phase of her personal life and embarks on a much-anticipated tour, including sold-out shows in London, for Theresa Caputo Live! The Experience. The three-time New York Times bestselling author will share her incredible gift with viewers while balancing new family dynamics like divorce and becoming a grandmother. Throughout the series, cameras will be there to capture these impromptu moments no matter if she’s running an errand or at a drive-thru, and viewers will see as she often makes big impressions on skeptics time and again, leaving them stunned. 

People Magazine Investigates: Surviving a Serial Killer premieres May 5 on ID. In the series, survivors, their loved ones, and law enforcement come together to piece together the emotional, shocking, and exclusive stories that finally brought serial killers to justice. The premiere episode tells the story of serial killer Rodney Alcala who appeared on a popular dating series in the midst of his murder spree. Known as “The Dating Game Killer,” Alcala is believed to have 80-120 victims spanning from California to New Hampshire. Now, PEOPLE’s acclaimed original reporting brings together the untold story of teenage survivor, Morgan Rowan. In 1965, Alcala attacked her – only to brutalize her again three years later. Plagued with guilt after he attacked an 8-year-old girl months later, this episode recounts her decades long search for the other who survived the evil of Rodney Alcala.
