Agatha All Along will premiere on Disney+ September 18 with the first two episodes.  The infamous Agatha Harkness finds herself down and out of power after the suspicious goth Teen helps break her free from a distorted spell. Her interest is piqued when he begs her to take him on the legendary Witches’ Road, a magical gauntlet of trials that, if survived, rewards a witch with what they’re missing. Together, Agatha and this mysterious Teen pull together a desperate coven and set off down, down, down The Road. 

Cross will premiere on Prime Video November 14. The series is based on the characters from James Patterson’s Alex Cross book series. Alex Cross is a detective and forensic psychologist, uniquely capable of digging into the psyches of killers and their victims, in order to identify – and ultimately capture – the murderers. Aldis Hodge stars as Alex Cross. 

Season two of Unstable premieres August 1 on Netflix. Universally admired, eccentric, narcissist-adjacent biotech entrepreneur Ellis Dragon lays out a series of challenges and mind games for his son Jackson to see if he has what it takes to succeed him as the heir to the Dragon empire, but does a newcomer have other ideas? 

Season twelve of Futurama premieres July 29 on hulu. On this orbit around the sun, our occasionally heroic crew embarks on mind-bending adventures involving birthday party games to the death, the secrets of Bender’s ancestral robot village, A.I. friends (and enemies), impossibly cute beanbags, and the true 5 million-year-old story behind the consciousness-altering substance known as coffee. And, of course, the next chapter in Fry and Leela’s fateful, time-twisted romance. The season will consist of ten episodes and the series has already been renewed for two additional seasons. 

Season eight of Elite, the final season, premieres July 26 on Netflix. Omar and Nadia reunite just as graduation nears for students at Las Encinas and one last mystery pushes friendships – and enemies – to the brink.

Onyx Collective’s How to Die Alone premieres September 13 on hulu. The series follows Mel, a broke, fat, Black JFK airport employee who’s never been in love and forgotten how to dream, until an accidental brush with death catapults her on a journey to finally take flight and start living by any means necessary. 

BTS members Jimin and Jung Kook will star in the upcoming Disney+ travel series Are You Sure?!, premiering August 8. The eight part series will give a deeper look into Jimin and Jung Kook’s undeniable chemistry and endearing friendship as they bond over a variety of unforgettable moments throughout the trip immersing in different cultures, exploring various action-packed activities, and trying out local cuisines.

The English dub cast for the long awaited anime Uzumaki has been announced. Abby Trott, Robbie Daymond, Cristina Vee, Doug Stone, Aaron LaPlante, Mona Marshall, and Max Mittleman will all voice roles for the adult swim series based on Junji Ito’s supernational horror manga. “Let’s leave this town together,” asks Shuichi Saito, a former classmate of Kirie Goshima, a high school girl who was born and grew up in Kurouzu-cho. Everything from a strange whirlwind, billowing smoke from the crematorium, and the residents is turning into spirals. People’s eyes spin in whirls, a tongue spirals, and the bodies twist unnaturally. In an attempt to escape the curse of the spirals, Kirie decides to flee from Kuouzu-cho, but can she get away from this turmoil? 

Anime series Blue Box will stream on Netflix in 2024. Taiki Inomata loves badminton, but he has a long way to go before he can reach nationals. When Taiki sees upperclassman Chinatsu Kano practicing her heart out on the girls’ basketball team, he falls for her hard. After an unexpected turn of events brings the two closer together, sports might not be the first thing on their minds anymore!

The English dub of One Piece Season 15 Voyage 1 will premiere on digital August 27. The batch consists of episodes 1086-1096, bringing the dub closest to being caught up as it has ever been. The episodes will begin streaming on Crunchyroll September 17. 

Starting July 19, adult swim’s Friday Toonami Rewind block will shuffle its lineup. Kicking off the block at 5 will be two episodes of Sailor Moon followed by an episode of Naruto. Finishing up the lineup is Dragon Ball Z Kai which will now only air one episode. The previous lineup featured an episode of Sailor Moon, followed by two episodes of Dragon Ball Z Kai and finishing with one episode of Naruto. 

A Trigun Stampede followup series was announced at the end of the season, which streamed on Crunchyroll. The series has now been given the title Trigun Stargaze. The series is based on the manga by Yasuhiro Nightow and also aired as an anime in the 90s. 

Halle Berry and Glenn Close have joined the cast of Ryan Murphy’s legal series. They join Kim Kardashian in the hulu series. 

The final four episodes of Craig of the Creek will begin airing September 7. The final episode will air September 28. The series follows Craig and his friends as they spend their afternoons playing in the suburban wilderness known as the Creek.

The English dub of My Deer Friend Nokotan will stream on Prime Video. The first episode premiered the other day with no announcement. Koshi Torako has everyone fooled. Her classmates see her as the perfect honor student, unaware of her secret delinquent past. But her new picturesque school life is thrown into chaos when she bumps into Shikanoko Noko, a girl with antlers! Mayhem seems to follow this strange doe-eyed girl. Who, or what, is she?

Crunchyroll held its Industry Panel at Anime Expo 2024. They announced upcoming series and projects set to stream. Omniscient Reader is coming soon. The final chapter of Dr. STONE SCIENCE FUTURE is coming soon. Season three of Fire Force will air as a split cour airing in April 2025 and January 2026. Yakuza Fiancé will stream in October. Season two of The Apothecary Diaries will stream in 2025. Season two of Blue Lock premieres in October. Anyway, I’m Falling in Love with You will stream January 2025. Season three of Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest will stream in October. 

Max is no longer moving forward with its Arkham Asylum series. The DC series was set to exist in the world of The Batman and The Penguin. 

The English dubs for Quality Assurance in Another World and A Journey Through Another World: Raising Kids While Adventuring both premiered the same day as the English subs. Quality Assurance in Another World streams Fridays and A Journey Through Another World: Raising Kids While Adventuring streams Sundays on Crunchyroll. 

My Hero Academia: You’re Next film will be released in theaters on October 11. The series recently aired its seventh season and previously released three movies. 

Love Is Blind: Mexico premieres August 1 on Netflix. Is true love blind?
