FX has ordered comedy series Snowflakes. The twenty-something ensemble comedy follows a group of codependent housemates trying to be good people, despite being neither “good” nor “people” yet. It stars Malik Elassal as “Samir,” Lucy Freyer as “Billie,” Jack Innanen as “Paul Baker,” Amita Rao as “Issa” and Owen Thiele as “Anton.”

Netflix has ordered docuseries Famous Last Words. Based on the highly acclaimed Danish TV format Det Sidste Ord, the series features longform interviews with notable personalities who have spent their lives making significant contributions to humanity and culture. However, the guests and episodes are to be announced and aired only after the passing of the participant, with these interviews being held and preserved by the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. However, with only the interviewee and interviewer present for the private recording session in a studio facilitated by remotely operated cameras, the docuseries results in a time capsule containing intimate conversations that capture the heartfelt reflections of luminaries. This approach not only captures the raw and emotional reflections of the guests, but also creates an intimate and safe space for the guest, knowing that their interview is confidential and will not air until after their death.

True crime docuseries Face to Face with Scott Peterson premieres August 20 on Peacock. The series takes a new look at the notorious case of Scott Peterson and the murders of his wife Laci Peterson and unborn son Conner. The docuseries will also follow the latest developments after the Los Angeles Innocence Project announced they were taking Scott’s case in early 2024. Peterson gives his first on-camera interview since 2003.
