Season four of Abbott Elementary premieres October 9 on ABC. The workplace comedy follows a group of dedicated, passionate teachers, and a slightly tone-deaf principal, who are brought together in a Philadelphia public school where, despite the odds stacked against them, they are determined to help their students succeed in life. 

Cross premieres on Prime Video November 14 with all eight episodes. Aldis Hodge stars as Alex Cross, a detective and forensic psychologist, uniquely capable of digging into the psyches of killers and their victims, in order to identify – and ultimately capture – the murderers. The series also stars Caleb Elijah, Melody Hurd, Jennifer Wigmore, Eloise Mumford, and Ryan Eggold.

Rivals premieres on hulu October 18. Set against the backdrop of power-grabbing social elites, the series dives headfirst into the ruthless world of independent television in 1986, where hair-dos are big and ambitions are even bigger. Deals are brokered in boardrooms, as well as bedrooms. Nobody can be sure who will come out on top. With every man and woman out only for themselves, can true love really blossom? 

Season two of Hellbound premieres on Netflix October 25. As the chaos deepens, lawyer Min Hyejin, The New Truth and Arrowheads get entangled anew amid the sudden resurrections of the formerly condemned. 

Solar Opposites Halloween Special Part 2 premieres October 7 on hulu. Spooky stuff is afoot when the SPIRIT OF HALLOWEEN starts to take over Korvo’s life. The series centers around a team of four aliens who are evenly split on whether Earth is awful or awesome. Korvo and Yumyulack only see the pollution, crass consumerism, and human frailty while Terry and Jesse love TV, junk food and fun stuff. 

Velma: This Halloween Needs to Be More Special! premieres October 3 on Max. With just 24 hours to bring Velma back, the friends search for a dark spellbook while trying to avoid the wrath of a vengeful spirit. But as the annual Sexy Halloween party nears, Velma and the gang must face their biggest fears… if they all want to make it out alive. 

To celebrate the holiday season, Apple TV+ will provide special free streaming windows for nonsubscribers to enjoy the iconic Peanuts holiday specials. Don’t miss It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, available Saturday, October 19 and Sunday, October 20; A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, available Saturday, November 23 and Sunday, November 24; and A Charlie Brown Christmas, available Saturday, December 14 and Sunday, December 15. Subscribers can watch these specials anytime, all season long. 

ABC and The Wonderful World of Disney have unveiled the lineup of beloved hits and fan-favorite films to air Sundays this fall. Highlights include the world television premiere of The Little Mermaid (2023), the live-action reimagining of the animated musical classic, and broadcast television debuts of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, Haunted Mansion (2023) and Hocus Pocus 2

The Legally Blonde prequel series Elle has announced a global casting call to find young Elle Woods, a high school version of the iconic character Reese Witherspoon played in the films. A driven, natural born leader who will always stop to straighten another woman’s crown, Elle’s magnetic personality brightens the world with confidence, vulnerability, and an earnestness that charms everyone around her. Coming of age in the 90s Elle will encounter her first love and her first heartbreak, and she will find her moral convictions. 

Senna premieres November 29 on Netflix. The six episode miniseries dramatizes for the first time Ayrton Senna’s journey through triumphs, disappointments, joys, and sorrows, revealing his personality and personal relationships. The story starts at the beginning of the three-time Formula 1 champion’s motor racing career, following him from his karting days, through his move to England to compete in Formula Ford, and continues up to the tragic accident in Imola, Italy, during the San Marino Grand Prix. 

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation has announced the lineup of special guests who will take the stage to present, perform and honor this year’s Inductees at the highly anticipated Induction Ceremony on Oct. 19, 2024, at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland. Inductees performing include Mary J. Blige, Cher, Dave Matthews Band, Foreigner, Peter Frampton, Kool & The Gang, and Dionne Warwick, promising an unforgettable night of music and celebration. Dr. Dre, Demi Lovato, Dua Lipa, James Taylor, Jelly Roll, Julia Roberts, Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney and more will also join. The Induction Ceremony will stream live coast to coast on Disney+ October 19 (7:00 p.m. EDT/6:00 p.m. CDT/5:00 p.m. MDT/4:00 p.m. PDT), and will be available to stream following the ceremony. ABC will air a primetime special, 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, featuring performance highlights and standout moments on January 1, 2025 (8:00-11:00 p.m. EST), available next day on Hulu and Disney+. 

The CW Network has set its broadcast schedule for the upcoming 2024-25 ACC men’s and women’s basketball season. Beginning in December, The CW will enter its second season broadcasting 28 men’s basketball games and nine women’s basketball games. Men’s doubleheaders will air Saturday afternoons with women’s games airing on Sundays. 

The English dub of Dragon Ball DAIMA will premiere in theaters on November 10, 11 and 12. The event will feature the first three episodes. Tickets will go on sale October 11, 2024. The series will stream with English subtitles on Crunchyroll October 11.

Season five of I AM A KILLER premieres October 16 on Netflix. From a man who killed his grandmother to an armed robber who claims he didn’t know his gun was loaded, convicted murderers recall their crimes firsthand.

The Manhattan Alien Abduction premieres October 30 on Netflix. A woman claims to have been abducted from her bedroom in Manhattan. This docuseries explores whether it was an elaborate hoax – or proof of alien life. 

The Fight Life premieres October 7 on ESPN+. The series chronicles a year in the world of Top Rank boxing through the journeys of five of the sport’s elite boxers – Tyson Fury, Naoya Inoue, Seniesa Estrada, Teofimo Lopez, and Josh Taylor – alongside unprecedented and exclusive behind-the-scenes access with Top Rank’s executives. As the boxers prepare for some of the biggest fights of their careers, episodes document the traveling circus that is the business of the sport, offering a living, breathing, punching, 360-degree portrait of “the fight life.” 

Season six of Car Masters: Rust to Riches premieres October 23 on Netflix. The Gotham crew goes all-in on the luxury car market but keeping buyers happy while maintaining a creative edge may be their biggest challenge yet. 

Love Is Blind, Habibi premieres October 10 on Netflix. Celebrity couple Khaled Saqr and Elham Ali host this social experiment, where Arab singles connect and commit to marriage – before meeting face-to-face.
