Netflix has renewed Emily in Paris for a fifth season. The second part of season four recently premiered on the streamer. After the dramatic events of Camille and Gabriel’s misbegotten wedding, Emily is reeling: She has strong feelings for two men, but now Gabriel’s expecting a baby with his ex, and Alfie’s worst fears about her and Gabriel have been confirmed. At work, Sylvie is forced to confront a thorny dilemma from her past for the sake of her marriage, and the Agence Grateau team navigates personnel shakeups. Mindy and the band prepare for Eurovision, but when funds run dry, they’re forced to get thrifty. Emily and Gabriel’s chemistry is undeniable as they work together towards a Michelin star, but two big secrets threaten to undo everything they’ve dreamed of. As old patterns clash with new complications, Emily feels drawn to a potential new love interest… and a new city. 

Apple TV+ has canceled Time Bandits after one season. The series followed an unpredictable journey through time and space with a ragtag group of thieves and their newest recruit: an 11-year-old history buff named Kevin. Together they set out on a thrilling quest to save the boy’s parents – and the world. As the group is transported through time and space, the gang stumbles upon fascinating worlds of the distant past while seeking out treasure, depending on Kevin to shed light on each situation. The “Time Bandits” witness the creation of Stonehenge, see the Trojan Horse in action, escape dinosaurs in the prehistoric age, wreak havoc during medieval times, experience the Ice Age, ancient civilizations and the Harlem Renaissance, and much more along the way. 

Season two of Castlevania: Nocturne will premiere in January 2025 on Netflix. Now joined by the legendary Alucard, Richter Belmont and his band of vampire hunters are in a desperate race against time. Erzsebet Báthory, the Vampire Messiah, who already seems invincible, seeks the full power of the goddess Sekhmet so she can plunge the world into endless darkness and terror. 

Season five of Below Deck Sailing Yacht premieres October 7 on Bravo. Capt. Glenn Shephard returns to Parsifal III with returning department heads Chief Stew Daisy Kelliher and First Mate Gary King. New crew members include Chef Cloyce Martin, Chief Engineer Davide Morosi, stews Diana Cruz and Danni Warren and deckhands Keith Allen and Emma Crouch. Capt. Glenn and his expert crew set sail on Parsifal III to the luxury party capital of the world, Ibiza. While Ibiza is known for its sunny day parties and crystal-clear coast, it’s stormy waters ahead for the crew as they navigate blossoming boatmances, competitive co-workers and tense personal dynamics, all while trying to raise the bar every charter. 

The English dub of Jellyfish Can’t Swim in The Night premieres on HIDIVE September 17. Four young women—an artist who quit drawing, a retired idol wishing to prove her worth, a hotheaded V-tuber, and a mysterious composer—band together on the late-night streets of Shibuya to form an anonymous artist group called “JELEE”. The touching coming-of-age ensemble drama celebrates the unique energy of Shibuya, Japan’s most popular nightlife district.

Wolf King is coming to Netflix in 2025. Set in a world where mortal man is ruled over by the Werelords, we will meet a 16-year-old shepherd boy Drew Ferran, a teen whose life is changed forever when he discovers he’s the last surviving Wolf King. 

Netflix’s Bridgerton is back in production for Season 4. The series’ new cast includes Katie Leung (Lady Araminta Gun), Michelle Mao (Rosamund Li), and Isabella Wei (Posy Li). Emma Naomi (Alice Mondrich) and Hugh Sachs (Brimsley) will be part of the main cast this season. The new season will focus on the second Bridgerton son, Benedict (Luke Thompson) and his quest to find the mesmerizing Lady in Silver, Sophie Baek (Yerin Ha). 

Spanish language thriller series Tú También lo Harías premieres October 30 on Apple TV+. The series takes place after an armed robbery on a bus near Barcelona results in the deaths of three robbers. Detectives and former lovers are on a mission to uncover the truth behind the six witnesses’ inconsistent timelines before time runs out. As they navigate a world where perception often trumps reality, this lightning-fast thriller shines a spotlight on the importance of truth in today’s society and the lengths people will go to protect their version of it. 

Holiday series Mistletoe Murders premieres on Hallmark+ October 31. Sarah Drew stars in the series based on the Audible series of the same name. It follows Emily Lane, the outwardly friendly, and optimistic shop owner of a charming year-round Christmas-themed store, Under the Mistletoe. However, her inner voice reveals a sardonic sense of humor, cunning intellect, and keen eye for details most people would miss…because Emily has a big secret. Residing in the quaint tourist town of Fletcher’s Grove, Emily finds herself compelled to investigate not-so-quaint local murders. And when Emily begins her personal investigations, Detective Sam Wilner, a smart local cop – with a crush on Emily that is not completely unrequited – begins to wonder if there’s more to Emily than meets the eye.

Production on Netflix’s Alejandro Sanz’s docuseries has begun. The three episode, untitled series will give fans access to the backstage of the life of Alejandro Sanz, one of the artists with greater recognition around the world and the Spanish who has collected the highest number of Latin GRAMMY awards in history. Viewers will become VIP spectators of Alejandro’s next personal and professional plans after a tough stage, about which he will open up for the first time. 

The CW will air a sneak peak of its upcoming series The Wranglers on September 23. The new group of wranglers help a multi-generational group of women reconnect with their past, while a rodeo competition helps narrow down who will be the new Head Wrangler. The series will make its premiere on October 14. 

Disney Entertainment Television returns to New York Comic Con with can’t-miss panels, exclusive sneak peeks, and special appearances from fan-favorite series from Oct. 17-20 at the Javits Center. They will include Futurama, Goosebumps, Phineas and Ferb, The Simpsons and What We Do in the Shadows.  

Max has announced its 2024 New York Comic Con lineup, featuring panels, never-before-seen footage, and more from the HBO Originals The Penguin, Dune: Prophecy, The Franchise and Max original Creature Commandos. All events will take place October 17 through October 19 at the Javits Center in New York City. 

Tokyo Ghoul 10th Anniversary Complete Series Blu-ray™ Box Set releases on December 31, 2024 from Crunchyroll. For the first time ever, this anniversary collection will contain all seasons of the popular Tokyo Ghoul series in one complete box set, including every episode of Tokyo Ghoul, Tokyo Ghoul √A, and Tokyo Ghoul:re. The art outside the box is newly commissioned artwork from the animation studio Pierrot that features the main character Kaneki and visual references to the fan-favorite opening song “Unravel” by TK from Ling Toshite Sigure. Special features will include select episode audio and video commentaries, the “Jack” and “Pinto” OVAs, the “Kaneki in Black and White” featurette with the English dub cast and crew that discusses questions and themes of the anime, and more. Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End will also be making its way onto Blu-ray from Crunchyroll on December 17. The first season will be released in two separate parts, with the second arriving at a later date. The first part will include multiple art cards of the iconic characters. Attack on Titan Seasons 1–3 being released as separate, complete series SteelBooks from Crunchyroll on December 17. Each Attack on Titan SteelBook will include multiple special features, including episode commentaries, featurettes, galleries, interviews, and more. Crunchyroll has also produced an English dub for Sound! Euphonium Season 1, which will be available on Blu-ray for the first time ever, along with the subtitled version, on December 17. Also coming this December from Crunchyroll will be Dr. STONE NEW WORLD Part 2, a complete series box set rerelease of DARLING in the FRANXX, and more.

Viaplay has set October premiere dates for its lineup of series. All and Eva premieres October 10. For 40 years, Eva has remained steadfast in her disbelief in love. Instead, she believes that happiness lies in her love for herself and her friends. After deciding to get pregnant, Eva chooses an open donor who seems perfect. But the night before the big insemination, she can’t help but think whether she made the right choice of donor. She decides to seek him out with a hidden agenda. He turns out to be normal, kind, nice and above all not a psychopath, so she goes through with it. But the donor, Mads, can’t stop thinking about Eva and tracks her down. The only problem is that she is already pregnant, with his child, although he doesn’t know about it. Secrets premieres October 24. Siblings Mads and Eva live in Copenhagen in neighboring apartments. They appear, on the surface, to come from a picture-perfect family, but in reality, it’s deeply dysfunctional. Mads, a music teacher, escapes his mundane life and family duties through wild parties and drugs. But his secret life of excess and addiction is spiraling out of control, threatening to shatter the façade he’s desperately trying to maintain. The Box premieres October 31. Sharon Pici is a Kansas City police officer surrounded by headstrong men who are convinced she is losing her mind after handling a difficult investigation. However, it soon becomes clear that she is being targeted by supernatural forces far greater than herself. As her sanity is called into question, Sharon finally realises her true strength and decides it’s time to take her life into her own hands.​ Can she reclaim her sanity, or will the dark powers that haunt her prove too powerful to defeat? Season five of docuseries Norwegian Crime Stories premieres October 3. The series covers eight new cases featuring some of Norway’s most famous crimes. Each episode zeroes in on a single case, unravelling how it was solved and sharing the stories of those closest to the crimes. Cases range from the infamous Orderud Case – where Per and Veronica Orderud were sentenced to 21 years for the brutal murders of Per’s parents and sister – to the devastating 2008 Oslo fire, the worst since World War II and suspected arson and the mysterious 2017 disappearance of Tom Rune Hagen, who vanished after a party under suspicious circumstances. What happened and who knows the truth? Max Verstappen: Off the Beaten Track and Verstappen: Master of the Track premiere October 14. Max’s Machine and F1 Talks with Max Verstappen premiere October 21. F1 2023: Champion Becoming a Legend premieres October 28. 

Season two of Finding Ola premieres September 26 on Netflix. The six episode season follows Ola as she navigates the complexities of life with even more resilience and heart. With Ola’s business on the verge of collapse, this season promises a deeper dive into her world, where every setback is a stepping stone, and every relationship is tested. However, despite the challenges, her heart is tugged at with unexpected twists as her ‘undesired’ business partner, Karim, pushes her to give love a second chance. 

Four part ABC News series Last Lands premieres September 16 on ABC News Live, Disney+, and Hulu. The series spotlights the global fight to protect our planet’s most threatened ecosystems. Hosted by Bob Woodruff, the series showcases the vital work being done by Global Conservation, national governments, and local communities to protect the world’s last intact tropical forests and sanctuaries for critically endangered wildlife. 

The Great Indian Kapil Show returns for season two on Netflix September 21. The new season promises to celebrate India and its rich culture with the superstars of the country. From the celebrated actress Alia Bhatt to visionary producer-director Karan Johar; the suave and chic Saif Ali Khan to the eminent superstar of the South-Indian film fraternity Jr NTR and the current sensation Janhavi Kapoor, the audience will get to know them like never before. The season will also feature the T20 World Cup winners who are exceptionally brilliant at charades, and the Fabulous Bollywood Wives who will finally put an end to the debate: which is the greatest city in India, Delhi or Mumbai? This, of course, is coupled with the punches and gags from the comic geniuses Kapil and his entire team. Clearly, jab lagega glamour ka tadka, comedy ka fever hoga aur bhi high! (With a dash of glamour, the comedy fever will rise even higher!) 

Barney’s World will begin streaming on Max October 14, followed by a linear premiere on Cartoon Network starting October 18. Barney’s classic “I Love You” song will appear with a new video and re-imagined lyrics. While the series was developed for preschoolers, viewers of all ages will feel the nostalgia that comes with knowing Barney and his friends. The parents of today, many of whom grew up with the lovable dinosaur, can now create memories with their own children as they together experience a new take on the original they once loved. 

Polly Pocket: Adventures in Rio premieres September 16 on Prime Video. The special follows Polly and her friends, Lila and Shani, on the adventure of a lifetime. After discovering a lost cat belonging to Eva, a famous Brazilian dancer, the crew flies to Rio de Janeiro to reunite the two. On an epic journey through beautiful Brazil, Polly and friends will meet new characters, learn important lessons, and have lots of fun!
