No Good Deed premieres on Netflix December 12. When Lydia and Paul decide to move on from their empty nest to forge a new life, they list their gorgeous 1920s Spanish-style villa located in one the most desirable neighborhoods in Los Angeles – and the real estate frenzy begins. Multiple families all race to buy what they believe to be their dream house, convinced it will fix all of their very different problems. But as Lydia and Paul know all too well, sometimes the home of your dreams can be a true nightmare. As they struggle to hide the dark and dangerous secrets that linger inside their longtime home, Paul and Lydia begin to realize that the only way they’ll escape the past is to finally face it. The series stars Linda Cardellini, O-T Fagbenle, Abbi Jacobson, Lisa Kudrow, Denis Leary, Poppy Liu, Teyonah Parris, Ray Romano, and Luke Wilson. 

Like a Dragon: Yakuza premieres October 24 with the first three episodes. The Japanese action drama plunges into the dark underworld of the yakuza, exploring the universal theme of family not only through bloodline but also through ties between yakuza bosses and their underlings, orphans and their caretakers, as well as mentors and students. These relationships are marked by deep affection at times, and by intense conflict at others, all intricately intertwined. Set in the fictional town of Kamurocho, the story unfolds across two intersecting timelines – 1995 and 2005. In 1995, eager to escape their restrictive lives, Kiryu and his friends, Nishiki, Yumi, and Miho plan a heist at a local arcade. However, the arcade is under the control of the Dojima Family, a powerful yakuza organization that rules Kamurocho. They dive into the yakuza-controlled underworld of 1995 Kamurocho. Meanwhile, in 2005, Kiryu is set to be released from prison. He learns from Detective Date that his friends are in danger and decides to return to Kamurocho to protect them. However, their friendship has deteriorated, as tensions between the Tojo Clan and the Omi Alliance are at a boiling point. The series is an adaptation of SEGA’s iconic video game series.

Competition series Roller Jam premieres November 14 on Max. The six-episode competition series features the top roller-skating crews in the country dancing through the decades for a chance to win a $150,000 cash prize and a $10,000 donation to their local rink. Jordin Sparks will host, with Johnny Weir and Terrell Ferguson serving as judges of the first-ever nationwide roller dancing competition on television. Each episode, skate teams must create all-new routines to perform for Johnny, Terrell and a celebrity guest judge in front of a live audience with only one chosen in the end as the ultimate roller dancing team in the country. 

Buy It Now hosted by JB Smoove premieres October 30 on Prime Video. Everyday Americans with innovative new products try to secure a life-changing spot in the eponymous store on Amazon. The series features a star-studded rotating panel of celebrity panelists (Gwyneth Paltrow, Anthony Anderson, Tabitha Brown, Tony Hawk, Christian Siriano) and Amazon Executives (Jenny Freshwater, Tanner Elton, Carmen Nestares, Michelle Rothman) as well as the founder of Ring, Jamie Siminoff, who serves as the resident judge and entrepreneurial panelist. Entrepreneurs get 90 seconds to pitch their product to an audience of potential customers: The 100. If The 100 like the product and price, then the entrepreneurs go to a panel of Amazon executives and celebrity entrepreneurs. The panel selects which products join Amazon’s exclusive Buy It Now Store and award one entrepreneur $20,000 each episode. 

FX has ordered The Beauty from Ryan Murphy. Evan Peters, Anthony Ramos, Jeremy Pope and Ashton Kutcher will star in the series. It is based on the comic series by by Jeremy Haun and Jason A. Hurley. 

Jake Makes It Easy premieres October 28 on FYI. Chef Jake Cohen breaks down the myth that entertaining needs to be difficult. Pulling inspiration from his Jewish heritage as well as middle eastern influences from his extended family, Jake guides viewers through stress-free and delicious dishes that always feel like a celebration. He provides viewers a step-by-step process for creating a main course and dessert that incorporate aspects from classic dishes and unique flavors all while keeping it simple. 

Production has begun on Netflix’s Peaky Blinders followup film. Set in the lawless streets of Birmingham in the 1900s, Cillian Murphy reprises his role as the iconic Tommy Shelby. Rebecca Ferguson, Tim Roth, and Barry Keoghan are confirmed to star alongside Cillian Murphy, with further cast yet to be announced. 

From October 1st through the 31st, Crunchyroll will add 20 spooktacular titles to its AVOD collection, including Another, Attack on Titan, Berserk, Chainsaw Man, Junji Ito Collection, The Promised Neverland, Tokyo Ghoul and more. Audiences around the world can stream these titles during the time frame for free with ads on Crunchyroll without a paid membership plan. This includes every season of each show, excluding any movies or OVAs (original video animation), in every language available. Starting Monday, October 28 at 12 PM PT / 3 PM ET through Friday, November 1, Crunchyroll’s 24/7 Anime Channel is also offering a special lineup. Thai mystery series Don’t Come Home premieres October 31 on Netflix. Witness the investigation of unusual events taking place in the Jarukanant house after Varee takes her only daughter Min to the remote family mansion where she lived 30 years ago. They both encounter inexplicable incidents in this house. One day, Min mysteriously disappears, prompting Fah, a pregnant police officer, to investigate. As Fah delves deeper, the evidence points towards a sinister secret hidden within the old house’s walls. 

Food Network kicks off the most wonderful time of the year with a festive holiday programming slate beginning in November, including the first-ever Harry Potter themed baking competition Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking, returning primetime series Beat Bobby Flay: Holiday Throwdown, Christmas Cookie Challenge, Holiday Baking Championship, Holiday Wars, new special Kids Baking Championship: Frosting the Snowman and seasonal episodes of the network’s current series including The Kitchen, Mary Makes it Easy and The Pioneer Woman. 

Luke Bryan, Peyton Manning and Lainey Wilson will host The 58th Annual CMA Awards on ABC. live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on November 20. Performers and presenters will be announced in the coming weeks. This will be Bryan’s fourth time hosting, Manning’s third time hosting and Wilson’s first time hosting. 

Janelle Monáe will serve as the official host of AMC and AMC+’s FearFest. The long-running, annual horror and genre programming event features over 700 hours of iconic horror films franchises, new series, specials and more. Monáe has also curated a list of her favorite horror films for a special collection on AMC+ available to stream during the month of October. “Janelle Monae’s ‘FearFest’ Faves” includes An American Werewolf in London, Candyman (1992), The Fly, Killer Klowns From Outer Space, Puppet Master, Carrie, Jeepers Creepers and more.

Chris Brown: A History of Violence premieres October 27 on ID. Chris Brown has been praised for his innovation and immense talent since he burst onto the music scene. But in 2009, the world was exposed to a much darker side of the pop star when he made headlines for assaulting then-girlfriend, Rihanna. This arrest put a spotlight on Brown and his adult life involving multiple violent incidents, including intimate partner violence, assault charges, and even sexual assault allegations. It charts Chris Brown’s past all the way back to his troubled childhood, explores the lasting impact of the cycle of abuse, and poses the question: how does a man with such a violent public record maintain his superstar status? With expert and cultural commentary layered throughout, the documentary provides thoughtful reflections into each survivor’s experience and the psychological destruction in the aftermath of their abuse. Sunny Hostin will host a dedicated conversation immediately following about intimate partner violence.
