Season two of My Life with the Walter Boys premieres August 28 on Netflix. Tubi will air AMC’s sci-fi comedy series Demascus August 7. The series follows Demascus, a Black man who goes on a journey of self-discovery using an experimental reality-bending technology. The series is a comedic, genre-defying, coming-of-age story that explores the gulf between Black male perspectives. Also starring are Janet Hubert, Caleb Eberhardt, Shakira Ja’nai Paye and Martin Lawrence (in a recurring role). The series was originally canceled due to write offs at AMC, despite being completed.
Abigail Spencer and Josh Segarra have been cast as series regulars on Fox’s upcoming series Best Medicine. They join previously announced Josh Charles. The series centers on Martin Best, a brilliant surgeon who abruptly leaves his illustrious career in Boston to become the general practitioner in a quaint East Coast fishing village where he spent summers as a child. Unfortunately, Martin’s blunt and borderline rude bedside manner rubs the quirky, needy locals the wrong way, and he quickly alienates the town, even though he’s all they’ve got. Although Martin can expertly address any medical ailment or mystery in this idiosyncratic town, he’s really just desperate to be left the hell alone. Instead, he keeps getting dragged right smack into the middle of their personal chaos, feuds and fantasies. What the locals don’t know is that Martin’s terse demeanor masks a debilitating new phobia and deep-seated psychological issues that prevent him from experiencing true intimacy with anyone. They join previously announced Rachel Weisz, who will star in and executive produce the series, and Leo Woodall, who will play Vladimir. The limited series is adapted from Julia May Jonas’s acclaimed novel. As a woman’s life unravels, she becomes obsessed with her captivating new colleague. NBC’s Brilliant Minds has added Brian Altemus and John Clarence Stewart. The two will be series regulars for the upcoming second season.
LEGO Masters Jr. premieres August 18 on Fox. The series hosted by television personality Kelly Osbourne with celebrity contestants including Ravi V. Patel, Andy Richter, Jordin Sparks, Alison Sweeney and Porsha Williams. Amy Corbett and Boone Langston (season one finalist and LEGO designer) join the special as Brickmasters and judges. Based on the hit competition series LEGO Masters, the series brings imagination, design and creativity to life when junior LEGO enthusiasts (ages 9-17) are paired with a celebrity partner as they go head-to-head with infinite possibilities and an unlimited supply of LEGO bricks. The teams will compete against each other in ambitious brick-building challenges to be crowned the country’s most talented amateur LEGO builder. In each episode, the junior builders and their celebrity teammate will work to impress the judges with their incredible creations and then, during the finale, the top teams will face off to win the ultimate LEGO trophy, a $50,000 grand prize and the prestigious title of LEGO Masters Jr.
Eva Pilgrim will be the new host of Inside Edition. She replaces Deborah Norville who recently announced she would be leaving the program. Pilgrim will depart ABC News and as host of GMA3. Pilgrim’s GMA3 co-host DeMarco Morgan is also departing the news program. Rotating GMA hosts will serve as hosts for the time being.
Netflix has renewed Brazilian series Criminal Code for a third season. Fans can expect even more intense scenes and conflicts – after all, last season’s finale made it clear that new showdowns between cops and criminals (not to mention revenge!) are on the way.

The series follows a Tyrannosaurus Rex (T-Rex) named Tim, his big brother Tommy, little sister Tia, and triceratops bestie Kai, as they tackle kid-shaped adventures with dino-sized solutions in space. Tim and his family live in a unique world comprised of a cluster of asteroids that make up the town of Rumbleton–a quintessential 21st century suburban town, with each asteroid hosting family homes, cafés, shops, parks, and even a beach.
