Production has begun on season four of Apple TV+’s Ted Lasso. From AFC Richmond to KC, principal photography begins today in Kansas City, Jason Sudeikis’s hometown, with additional filming set to take place in London. In addition to Sudeikis, Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Brendan Hunt and Jeremy Swift are all set to return as their beloved characters and celebrated members of AFC Richmond, along with newcomers Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsay, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, Abbie Hern and Grant Feely, who is stepping in as Ted’s son, ‘Henry.’ Ted returns to Richmond, taking on his biggest challenge yet: coaching a second division women’s football team. Throughout the course of the season, Ted and the team learn to leap before they look, taking chances they never thought they would.
Season two of Doc premieres on Fox September 23. The second season follows powerhouse physician Dr. Amy Larsen as she continues to rebuild her life after a car crash erased eight years of her memory. No longer Chief of Internal Medicine at Westside Hospital, Amy must restart her medical journey as an Intern in the hopes of becoming the doctor she once was. She’ll confront hard truths about her missing years, work to repair fractured relationships, and seek to reconcile the person she used to be with the one everyone else has come to know.

Paramount+ has canceled Happy Face after one season. The series is inspired by the true-life story of Melissa G. Moore, the podcast Moore, and the autobiography Shattered Silence, written by Moore with M. Bridget Cook. At 15, Moore discovered that her beloved father was the prolific serial killer known as Happy Face. As an adult, she has changed her name and guarded her secret while her father has been serving life in prison. Jumping off from Moore’s true-life story, the series follows Melissa and her incarcerated father, known as the Happy Face Killer. After decades of no contact, he finally finds a way to force himself back into his daughter’s life. In a race against the clock, Melissa must find out if an innocent man is going to be put to death for a crime her father committed. Throughout, she discovers the impact her father had on his victims’ families and must face a reckoning of her own identity.

Apple TV+ announced season two of the clever, funny and inspiring stop-motion animated series Shape Island, to debut globally on August 29. Based on the internationally bestselling “Shapes” picture book trilogy by Mac Barnett and Jon Klassen, the second season is set to return with more imaginative adventures for kids and families. Preschool series Marvel’s Iron Man and his Awesome Friends premieres August 11 on Disney Jr. and later that day on Disney Channel, with the first 10 episodes available on Disney+ August 12. The series follows the adventures (and misadventures) of best friends and super geniuses – Tony Stark, Riri Williams and Amadeus Cho – as they work together to solve problems, both big and small, and protect their city. In order to help them save the day, the Iron Friends each have their own Iron Suits that allow them to fly and give them enhanced super-strength. John Stamos, who voiced the role of Iron Man (aka Tony Stark) in Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends, will now take on the role of Tony’s father, Howard Stark. Also joining the series in guest roles are Jessica Mendoza as Dottie Doubleday, Jackée Harry as Granny Williams, Stephen Tobolowsky as Spencer Q.
