English Teacher will return for season two, September 25 on FX with the first three episodes. The entire ten episode season will premiere on hulu September 26. 

Netflix has canceled The Waterfront after one season. For decades, the Buckley family has ruled Havenport, North Carolina, dominating everything from the local fishing industry to the town’s restaurant scene. But their fishing empire has started to crumble as patriarch Harlan Buckley (Holt McCallany) recovers from two heart attacks, and his wife Belle (Maria Bello) and son Cane (Jake Weary) venture into the deep end to keep the family businesses afloat. 

Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood and Lionel Richie are all set to return as judges on American Idol. Host Ryan Seacrest isn’t confirmed yet for the new season, though he is likely to return as he is the host since the series inception. 

Hotel Costiera premieres September 24 on Prime Video. The series follows Daniel De Luca (Jesse Williams), a half Italian former U.S. Marine. Daniel returns to Italy, the land of his childhood, as a fixer in one of the world’s most luxurious hotels, located on the spectacular coastline of Positano. In addition to dealing with the wealthy guests’ problems, Daniel is also on the trail of Alice, one of the owner’s daughters who disappeared a month earlier. Daniel must do everything he can to bring her home, but facing those who kidnapped the girl will be more challenging than any problem Daniel has ever faced.  

Annette Bening is set to appear in the upcoming Yellowstone spinoff series focusing on Beth and Rip. Bening joins Kelly Reilly, Cole Hauser and Finn Little in the Paramount+ series. 

Devon Walker has exited Saturday Night Live. The comedian had been with the late night NBC series for three seasons. More departures are expected to come ahead of the season premiere October 4. 

Sanda will premiere on Prime Video October 4. In near-future Japan with ultra-low birthrates, children are treasured but monitored. Santa is banned as dangerous. One snowy December 25th, middle-schooler Kazushige Sanda, descendant of Santa, is attacked by classmate Fuyumura who wants him to find her missing friend, Ono. “Santa, please find my friend.” To protect children from adults, Sanda decides to become Santa and fight the adults.

South Park will once again be taking the week off. The series will continue to stretch its 27th season with weeks on and off on Comedy Central. 

Netflix is rebooting one of Korea’s hit series with Crime Scene Zero, premiering globally on September 23. This unique role-playing mystery series puts every star in the dual role of suspect and detective. Across 10 episodes released over three weeks, the cast will dive into mind games, shocking twists, and high-stakes psychological battles of deduction. Each week, a surprise celebrity guest joins the psychological mind games and deduction battles, promising twists, wit, and immersive mystery drama that will keep fans guessing until the final reveal.
