Season three two of Maxton Hall – The World Between Us premieres November 7 with the first three episodes and a new episode following weekly. Those who fly high can also fall low…After their passionate night together in Oxford and her greatest life goal within reach, everything seems to be going perfectly for Ruby (Harriet Herbig-Matten). But a stroke of fate in James’ (Damian Hardung) family changes everything and James himself, of all people, brings her back from cloud nine to a harsh reality. Ruby is devastated. She has never had such strong feelings for anyone as she does for James – and she has never been so hurt by anyone either. She wants her old life back, where no one at Maxton Hall knew her and she wasn’t part of the elitist world of her classmates. But she can’t forget James – especially since he’s doing everything he can to win her back. 

The new season of 9-1-1 premieres October 9 on ABC. In honour of Bobby Nash’s sacrifice, the 118 comes together to dedicate the firehouse in his memory. Meanwhile, when a billionaire tech giant is involved in a life-or-death emergency, the team must race to his aid. 

The third and final season of Power Book IV: Force premieres November 7 on Starz. This season, Tommy Egan’s relentless ambition to dominate Chicago’s drug game comes at a high cost. In order to claim the throne as kingpin, he must navigate an ever-evolving dynamic with his business partner, Diamond, and a contentious relationship with Diamond’s brother, Jenard. As pressure mounts from the coalition, the Feds, Miguel’s crew and the Marquez Cartel, Tommy must find a way to protect his family and those he loves, including Mireya. 

Coming of age drama series G.R.I.T.S. premieres October 30 on ALLBLK. The series follows Keisha, Ty and Francis, three young women coming of age in Memphis. Determined to define the next chapter in their lives, they find solace in their favorite pastime: roller skating. As they navigate grief, love, hustle and the underbelly of the city threatening to pull them down, a skating competition with life-changing prize money offers a glimmer of hope. In a world where the rink is their escape and survival is a full-time job, they rely on sisterhood and skating to outrun their past and build something real. When all else fails, lace up and skate until you can’t skate anymore. 

Season two of Breathless premieres October 31 on Netflix. With the privatization of the hospital, a new supervisor arrives, pushing the staff to the limit. Meanwhile, Patricia and Jésica struggle between life and death.

Peaky Blinders will return with a bang to Netflix and the BBC, telling the story of a new generation of Shelbys, from writer and creator Steven Knight. Britain, 1953. After being heavily bombed in WWII, Birmingham is building a better future out of concrete and steel. In a new era of Steven Knight’s Peaky Blinders, the race to own Birmingham’s massive reconstruction project becomes a brutal contest of mythical dimensions. This is a city of unprecedented opportunity and danger, with the Shelby family right at its blood-soaked heart.

Netflix has canceled The Ultimatum: Queer Love after two seasons. The series follows a group of couples, made up of women and nonbinary people, for whom marriage is an absolute dealbreaker. One partner is ready to walk down the aisle, while the other is dragging their feet. So to decide whether to marry or move on for good, one person issues an ultimatum, kicking off a potentially relationship-shattering experiment.

Fiona Glascott, Belinda Bromilow and Emma Shipp have joined the cast of the new limited-series adaptation of Edith Wharton’s Pulitzer-prize winning novel The Age of Innocence as series regulars. The series is a passionate and heart-rending will-they/won’t-they love triangle exploring themes of freedom, duty, identity and love in all its forms. This fresh take is true to Wharton’s novel but will speak to a new generation as we traverse the ballrooms and bedrooms of these young people, asking the question what is love – and what is lust? And should we ultimately be driven by our heads or by our hearts? 

The 200th episode of Chicago Med will air October 8 on NBC. Titled “A Game of Inches,” this second episode of season 11 welcomes back a familiar face when Nick Gehlfuss steps back through the doors of Gaffney Medical Center. Elsewhere, things get personal when Dr. Ripley (Luke Mitchell) and Dr. Archer (Steven Weber) disagree over the treatment plans tied to an unusual case. Also, Dr. Asher (Jessy Schram) makes a surprising discovery with an expectant couple. 

One Direction members Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik are currently filming a docuseries for Netflix. The series will follow the two as they travel across the US. 

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) revealed an exciting lineup of presenters from across the world of Daytime television who will take the stage at the 52nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards on Friday, October 17, 2025, at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, California. Brad Bestelink, Kardea Brown, Alexa Havins Bruening, Scott Clifton, Olivia d’Abo, Dan Feuerriegel, Rory Gibson, Carla Hall, Deidre Hall, Cherie Jimenez, Judge Lauren Lake, Egypt Sherrod & Mike Jackson, Ross Mathews, Michael Mealor, Karla Mosley, Joseph Rosendo, Michelle Stafford and Lisa Yamada will join host Mario Lopez. The ceremony will stream live at watch.theemmys.tv and via The Emmys(R) app. 

Witch Watch will return for a second season. The series first season airs on Crunchyroll, Netflix and hulu with English subtitles and an English dub. 

Nickelodeon will begin airing Netflix’s The Boss Baby: Back in Business October 3. Marking the U.S. linear debut of the series, season one will air Fridays at 5 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon. With the help of his big brother and partner-in-crime Tim, continues to navigate the cutthroat corporate jungle gym of Baby Corp., while angling to achieve the near-impossible: the work-life balance of a modern career baby. 

TNT Sports and the BIG EAST Conference will tip-off its inaugural women’s regular season basketball coverage for the 2025-26 season on Wednesday, November 12. The 15-game slate will begin with the defending NCAA National Champion UConn Huskies – led by Sarah Strong and Azzi Fudd – facing Loyola Chicago on truTV and HBO Max at 7:30 p.m. ET. UConn will have a total of eight appearances on TNT Sports’ networks and platforms during the women’s basketball regular season, including a head-to-head conference showdown against the Creighton Bluejays on Sunday, January 11 at 2 p.m. on truTV and HBO Max in a matchup of the only two seeded Big East teams from last season’s NCAA Tournament. Additional matchups for UConn include a matchup against Butler on Sunday, December 28 at 4 p.m., a pair of games vs. Georgetown (Thursday, January 22 at 7:30 p.m. on TNT, truTV and HBO Max; and Thursday,February 26 at 7 p.m. on TNT, truTV and HBO Max); a road game against DePaul on Wednesday, February 4 at 8 p.m. on truTV and HBO Max; and a pair of games vs. St. John’s (Wednesday, January 7 at 7:30 p.m. on truTV and HBO Max, and their regular season finale on Sunday, March 1 on TNT, truTV and HBO Max). 

ESPN and ABC will present exclusive coverage of the 2025 WNBA Finals Presented by Google, featuring the Las Vegas Aces and the Phoenix Mercury. The Las Vegas Aces will make their third WNBA Finals appearance in the last four years, looking to capture a third title and join the Houston Comets (4 straight from 1997-00) as the only teams in league history to do so. The Phoenix Mercury returns to the Finals for the first time since 2021, chasing their first championship since 2014. The newly expanded best-of-seven Finals will open with Game 1 in Las Vegas on Friday, Oct. 3, at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN. Games 2, 3, and 4 of the Finals will air on Sunday, Oct. 5, Wednesday, Oct. 8, and Friday, Oct. 10, respectively. The if-necessary Games 5, 6, and 7 will be played on Sunday, Oct. 12, Wednesday, Oct. 15, and Friday, Oct. 17. 

NBC Sports will exclusively stream a slate of nearly 75 BIG EAST basketball regular-season and tournament games this season, with nearly 50 BIG EAST men’s games and 25 women’s games streaming exclusively on Peacock. Peacock’s BIG EAST men’s basketball schedule tips off on Wednesday, Nov. 5, as Creighton hosts South Dakota at 8 p.m. ET. Two BIG EAST men’s games will be presented live on NBC and Peacock this season, featuring an interconference showdown on Black Friday as Marquette hosts Oklahoma on Nov. 28 at 2 p.m. ET and a 2025 BIG EAST Men’s Tournament semifinals rematch as head coach Dan Hurley and UConn visit Creighton on Sunday, Jan. 4, at 2 p.m. ET. BIG EAST men’s conference play begins on Peacock on Tuesday, Dec. 16, with a doubleheader as 2024-25 BIG EAST Coach of the Year Rick Pitino and St John’s host DePaul at 7 p.m. ET and Butler visits UConn at 8:30 p.m. ET.

Season nine of Tyler Perry’s Sistas Premieres October 8 on BET. The series follows a tight-knit group of accomplished and relatable women as they navigate the complexities of love, career, and friendship in the modern world. The new season promises even more emotional depth, unexpected revelations, and the powerful narratives that have made the show a fan favorite. 

Amsterdam Empire premieres October 30 on Netflix. Jack van Doorn, the rich and notorious founder of the coffee shop empire Jackal, has had to fight his entire career against criminals, competitors, and absurd Dutch laws to become the biggest of them all. When his affair with a well-known journalist comes to light, it turns out that his most dangerous enemy has been living under his roof all this time: his betrayed wife, Betty (Famke Janssen), an ex-pop diva who knows all his weak spots and secrets and will not rest until she has taken everything from him. 

Showtime has acquired The Guest and Coldwater. The Guest will begin streaming October 17 and premiere on air October 19. The series follows Ria, who has never had the time or opportunity to think about what she might actually want from the world. But when she starts cleaning for charismatic businesswoman Fran, she’s intoxicated by this confident and self-assured woman who encourages her to take control of her life. Fran makes Ria believe she’s capable of anything – until they find themselves standing over a dead body and everything is thrown dramatically off course. This fast-paced thriller tells the story of these two unlikely friends as their lives begin to unravel. Packed with action, intrigue and shocking hooks, it will be a fun, wild ride. Ria and Fran’s intense relationship will quickly spiral into an increasingly dangerous game of cat and mouse. But who is playing who? Coldwater will premiere in early 2026. John secretly rages at his life as a middle-aged, stay-at-home dad. When his failure to intervene in a violent confrontation in a city playground brings his identity crisis to a head, John moves his family to the rural idyll of Coldwater. On arrival, he is befriended by neighbour Tommy, a charming, confident pillar of the community. John is impressed by Tommy. However, he is blissfully unaware that Tommy is harbouring horrifying secrets. When John’s long-repressed rage finally explodes with disastrous results, he finds himself unexpectedly indebted to his new friend. But how long will it take for him to figure out just how dangerous Tommy really is? 

In the Eye of the Storm returns for a new season November 2 on Discovery Channel. The series plunges viewers into the epicenter of America’s most devastating natural disasters. From real-time footage to raw, firsthand accounts, each episode captures the chaos, courage and resilience of those who faced the fury head-on. This season kicks off with a harrowing account of freak weather in March 2025, when extreme atmospheric volatility unleashed a massive Texas haboob and more than 200 tornadoes across the southern states. Thousands of eyewitnesses captured disaster at their doorsteps as the storms devastated towns and homesteads, leaving a trail of destruction across multiple states, causing billions in damage and claiming at least 42 lives. 

The English dub of To Your Eternity season three premieres October 4 on Crunchyroll. In the beginning, an “orb” is cast unto Earth. “It” can do two things: change into the form of the thing that stimulates “it”; and come back to life after death. “It” morphs from orb to rock, then to wolf, and finally to boy, but roams about like a newborn who knows nothing. As a boy, “it” becomes Fushi. Through encounters with human kindness, Fushi not only gains survival skills, but grows as a “person”. But his journey is darkened by the inexplicable and destructive enemy Nokker, as well as cruel partings with the people he loves.

Twisted Wonderland is coming to Disney+ and hulu October 29. Your favorite villains reimagined in ways you’ve never dared to dream. 

The theme song and key art for “Marvel’s Spidey and Iron Man: Avengers Team-Up!,” the first-ever “Team-Up” special featuring characters from Disney Jr.’s hit series Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends and Marvel’s Iron Man and his Awesome Friends, was revealed. The special premieres Thursday, Oct. 16, on Disney Jr. (8 a.m. EDT/PDT) and later that day on Disney Channel and Disney Jr. On Demand. It will then debut on Disney+ the following day. In the special, Iron Man and the Avengers, including Hulk, Black Panther, Ms. Marvel and Captain America, join Spidey to stop Ultron and Green Goblin from taking control of all the machines in the city. The opening theme song “Team-Up!” is written by Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends songwriter/composer Patrick Stump (Fall Out Boy).
