Fox has renewed cooking competition series MasterChef for two additional seasons, season 16 and season 17. Gordon Ramsay will return as a host and judge, alongside renowned restaurateur Joe Bastianich and acclaimed chef and entrepreneur Tiffany Derry. MasterChef will welcome a fresh batch of home cooks to vie for the chance to win $250,000, the MasterChef trophy and the title of America’s next MasterChef.
Crunchyroll has acquired the rights to stream the upcoming third season of Oshi no Ko. The first two seasons, which released in Japanese with English subtitles and an English dub, streamed on HIDIVE.
Christopher Briney has joined the cast of Hacks. Briney will appear in the upcoming fifth season of the HBO Max series.

NBC Olympics today announced its hockey commentators for the XXV Olympic Winter Games in Italy, which includes former NBC Sports NHL commentators Kenny Albert, Eddie Olczyk, AJ Mleczko, Brian Boucher, Kathryn Tappen, and Anson Carter. Coverage of the Milan Cortina Olympic Winter Games begins with the Opening Ceremony on Feb. 6, 2026, on NBC and Peacock.
For the first time, ABC will broadcast the Heisman Trophy Ceremony Presented by Nissan on Saturday, Dec. 13, at 7 p.m. ET. For the fifth consecutive year, the ceremony will originate from Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Appel Room in New York City and will be hosted by Chris Fowler, emceeing for the 32nd straight year. The 2025 ceremony will honor the 91st Heisman Trophy winner. Joining Fowler during the one-hour live telecast will be ESPN college football reporters Holly Rowe and Marty Smith, along with ESPN analysts and former Heisman Trophy winners Desmond Howard (1991), Tim Tebow (2007) and Andre Ware (1989). The 2025 Heisman finalists will be announced earlier that week on Monday Night Countdown following the conclusion of conference championship weekend. Voting for the Heisman Trophy closes on Monday, Dec. 8.

Common has collaborated with acclaimed musicians and composers Karriem Riggins and James Poyser to create the official theme music for NBA on Prime. The composition, titled Victory (NBA on Prime Theme), captures the rich legacy of basketball culture and will serve as the signature sound for NBA on Prime each week beginning with the 2025-26 season. Victory will be the first national broadcast theme created for NBA coverage by three Black composers. The theme was recorded at Ocean Way Studio in Nashville with a 60-piece orchestra under the direction of Common, Riggins and Poyser in September. Drawing from their deep personal connection to basketball and decades of experience writing award-winning music, the composers crafted a piece that reflects both the game’s historic moments and the energy of today. Victory will be featured throughout NBA on Prime programming and global telecasts, creating a distinctive sonic identity for Prime Video’s exclusive NBA coverage.
