CBS has renewed Boston Blue and Sheriff Country for second seasons. A spinoff of Blue Bloods, Boston Blue follows former NYPD Detective Danny Reagan as he joins the Boston Police Department and partners with Detective Lena Silver. Set in small-town Edgewater, Calif., Sheriff Country, a Fire Country spinoff, follows Sheriff Mickey Fox as she investigates criminal activity while navigating complex family dynamics. 

Season two of Your Friends & Neighbors premieres April 3 on Apple TV. Andrew Cooper doubles down on his life as an unlikely suburban thief, until the arrival of a new neighbor threatens to expose his secrets and place his family at risk. James Marsden joins the cast, alongside returning stars Jon Hamm, Amanda Peet, Olivia Munn, Hoon Lee, Mark Tallman, Lena Hall, Aimee Carrero, Eunice Bae, Isabel Gravitt and Donovan Colan. 

Chad Powers has been renewed for a second season at hulu. The series is based on the Eli’s Places segment where Eli Manning disguised himself in prosthetics to participate in a walk-on tryout at Penn State. Season one stars Glen Powell as Russ Holliday/Chad Powers, Perry Mattfeld as Ricky, Quentin Plair as Coach Byrd, Wynn Everett as Tricia Yeager, Frankie A. Rodriguez as Danny and Steve Zahn as Coach Jake Hudson. Eight years after an unforgivable mistake nukes his promising college football career, hotshot quarterback Russ Holliday tries to resurrect his dreams by disguising himself as Chad Powers – a talented oddball who walks on to the struggling South Georgia Catfish. 

Emily in Paris season five premieres December 18 on Netflix. Now the head of Agence Grateau Rome, Emily faces professional and romantic challenges as she adapts to life in a new city. But just as everything falls into place, a work idea backfires, and the fallout cascades into heartbreak and career setbacks. Seeking stability, Emily leans into her French lifestyle, until a big secret threatens one of her closest relationships. Tackling conflict with honesty, Emily emerges with deeper connections, renewed clarity, and a readiness to embrace new possibilities. 

Season two of A Thousand Blows premieres January 9 om hulu. Inspired by the true-life stories of a group of characters battling for survival in the brutal East End of London in the 1880s. One year later. Hezekiah Moscow is a shadow of the man he once was whilst Sugar Goodson is estranged from his family and drinking himself to death. Just as Wapping is about to sigh its last breath, Mary Carr bursts back into town with her loyal second, Alice Diamond. In Mary’s absence, Eliza Moody failed reign as Queen has seen her exiled whilst Indigo Jeremy has taken back control of the Elephants. Mary is back to reassemble the Forty Elephants and reclaim her crown. She sobers Sugar up, she has a use for him yet, and forms a reluctant alliance with Hezekiah to take down Indigo Jeremy once and for all. As always, Mary has a plan. And this time it’s riskier than ever. 

HBO has announced a return window for when Euphoria will return for its upcoming third season. The series will premiere in April 2026. Season two last aired back in 2022. 

The Beauty will premiere January 21 on FX. The world of high fashion turns dark when international supermodels begin dying in gruesome and mysterious ways. FBI Agents “Cooper Madsen” (Evan Peters) and “Jordan Bennett” (Rebecca Hall) are sent to Paris to uncover the truth. As they delve deeper into the case, they uncover a sexually transmitted virus that transforms ordinary people into visions of physical perfection, but with terrifying consequences. Their path leads them directly into the crosshairs of “The Corporation” (Ashton Kutcher), a shadowy tech billionaire who has secretly engineered a miracle drug dubbed “The Beauty,” who will do anything to protect his trillion-dollar empire – including unleashing his lethal enforcer, “The Assassin” (Anthony Ramos). As the epidemic spreads, “Jeremy” (Jeremy Pope), a desperate outsider, is caught in the chaos, searching for purpose as the agents race across Paris, Venice, Rome, and New York to stop a threat that could alter the future of humanity. The Beauty is a global thriller that asks: what would you sacrifice for perfection? 

HGTV will bring fans New Year’s cheer with nearly 40 fresh episodes beginning in January, including the return of hit series Home Town starring Ben and Erin Napier and Ugliest House in America featuring Retta, the premiere of the fun and unexpected home surveillance video series Neighborhood Watch and more episodes of humorous fantasy lifestyle show Cheap A$$ Beach Houses. Home Town premieres January 4. Ugliest House in America premieres January 7.  Cheap A$$ Beach Houses will follow, premiering on January 7. Neighborhood Watch will follow, premiering January 7 as well. 

Worst Cooks in America: Reality Check premieres January 4 on Food Network. Chefs Jeff Mauro and Tiffany Derry are on a mission to transform an all-star cast from cooking disasters to kitchen masters with an intense culinary boot camp like no other. Each chef takes a team of celebrity recruits through their paces with entertainment-themed challenges including Blockbuster Bites, The Worst Lotus and Agents of Flavor, but only the last competitor standing wins $25,000 for the charity of their choice and bragging rights for their mentor. The recruits are: Lisa Barlow (Real Housewives of Salt Lake City), Downtown Julie Brown (MTV VJ), Val Chmerkovskiy (Dancing with the Stars), Reza Farahan (Shahs of Sunset), Amara La Negra (Love & Hip Hop: Miami), Ryan Lochte (Olympic swimmer), Manila Luzon (RuPaul’s Drag Race), Romeo Miller (rapper/actor), Beverley Mitchell (7th Heaven) and CT Tamburello (The Challenge). 

Season two of The Boyfriend premieres January 13 on Netflix. Fifteen episodes will drop over four consecutive weeks. This season, the Green Room relocates to wintertime Hokkaido, where ten new boys will share a home for roughly two months against a backdrop of snowy landscapes. Like before, they will work together to operate the peppermint Coffee Truck, but the stories that unfold in the cold will take on a different flavor – carefully built connections, quiet moments, and love that grows slowly in the winter. Although cast details remain under wraps, a new first-look image has been released, showing the backs of all ten boys with their arms around each other, hinting at the bonds yet to begin. 

Andrew Scott has been cast in the upcoming third season of The Comeback. Scott joins returning series regulars Lisa Kudrow, Dan Bucatinsky, Laura Silverman, and Damian Young in the final season of the HBO series. 

MASTERPIECE on PBS has announced that it will be co-producing the upcoming six-part police procedural Winter. The series features an unconventional forensic pathologist, played by Richard Armitage, whose brilliance, sharp intellect and rule-breaking approach helps the police solve some of the most complex murder cases. Set in Bristol, England, Winter follows Dr. Ethan Winter, one of the most gifted pathologists of his generation. He possesses an extraordinary analytical mind, capable of impeccable deductive reasoning which perfectly complements DI Lauren Bell, played by Annabel Schole, a meticulous, no-nonsense detective who is as driven as Winter when working on a case. Together they make a formidable team, as Winter’s genius and insight into the victims is invaluable to Bell and her murder squad detectives. Yet Winter is harboring a secret. The unsolved murder of someone close to him still haunts his every move, and he’s intent on unofficially investigating the death to bring the murderer to justice. This personal thread runs beneath the six-part series, with each episode featuring its own compelling, self-contained crime story. 

Netflix has ordered an Untitled Vegas Television Series from Martin Scorsese. The eight episode series will explore the high-stakes world of Las Vegas casinos. The hourlong drama is set in the high-stakes, sharp-elbowed present-day Las Vegas casino business, which is a modernized but still dangerous version of the legendary city. At the center of which stands Robert “Bobby Red” Redman, president of the hottest hotel casino in town, who has to make some long odds moves to try and secure his position and take more ground. 

HBO has renewed Spanish language series Rage for a second season. The series will return in 2026 starring a new group of actresses and several returning cast members from the first season The first season is a contemporary portrait of five women: five female characters who lead this surprising, realistic, and intense drama. Five women willing to do anything in extreme situations such as extortion, oppression, deception, exclusion, or manipulation in a single shared, contemporary universe, articulated around five conflicts that will unfold like a butterfly effect, one as a consequence of the other. Until they reach a shared catharsis. A kaleidoscopic portrait of the current social moment with high doses of irony and humor. 

Golf Channel announced the commentary teams for the inaugural Optum Golf Channel Games – the live, made-for-TV primetime event on Golf Channel and USA Network on Dec. 17 at Trump National Golf Club Jupiter, featuring Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler leading four-man teams competing in a series of unique challenges. Current PGA TOUR player Keith Mitchell will serve as an analyst for coverage of the Optum Golf Channel Games alongside longtime Golf Channel commentator Steve Sands, who will provide play-by-play commentary. Smylie Kaufman, Brad Faxon, and Johnson Wagner will serve as on-course commentators, providing insight and live interviews with players throughout the event. Wagner will also contribute pre-and post-show analysis with Anna Jackson, who will anchor studio coverage on-site from Trump National Golf Club Jupiter. Golf media personality and University of Miami commit Kai Trump will be a special contributor to the broadcast, participating in challenge tutorials with Wagner as well as the trophy ceremony. 

Rebecca Lowe will join Fox Sports broadcast team as one of its hosts covering the world’s greatest sporting event, the FIFA World Cup 2026, next year. The complete FIFA World Cup 2026 broadcast team will be unveiled in the lead up to the tournament. 

Louis Carr has been appointed President of BET, expanding his longstanding leadership at the largest media company dedicated to entertaining, engaging, and empowering the Black community and championing Black culture. Carr assumes leadership of BET from Scott Mills, who earlier today announced his departure after 23 years at the company. Carr will report to George Cheeks, Chair of TV Media at Paramount. 

NFL Christmas Gameday airs live December 25 on Netflix. The Cowboys/Commanders will air at 1 pm ET from Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland, followed by the Lions/Vikings at 4:30 pm ET from the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. With returning on-air talent such as the father-son duo of Ian and Noah Eagle, Kay Adams, Manti Te’o, Nate Burleson, and many more, plus new additions like Pro Football Hall of Fame wide receiver Michael Irvin and WWE Superstar Seth Rollins, this year’s Christmas slate aims to ring in the holidays with even more cheer for football fans everywhere. 

Season three of The Manny premieres December 17 on Netflix. Gabriel and Jimena’s paths cross once again, with more passion and intrigue than they could ever imagine. Will they give love another chance, or will they lose everything?

Season two of Love Is Blind: Germany premieres January 8 on Netflix.
