Apple TV has renewed Platonic for a third season. The series follows a platonic pair of former best friends approaching midlife (Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne) who reconnect after a long rift. Season two picks up with everyone’s favorite pair of best friends as they contend with new midlife hurdles, including work, weddings and partners in crises. The season two cast also includes Luke Macfarlane and Carla Gallo, and introduces Aidy Bryant, Kyle Mooney, Beck Bennett and Milo Manheim as guest stars.

Kit Harington has joined the cast of hulu’s Count My Lies. Harington joins Shailene Woodley and Lindsay Lohan in the limited series.

Paramount+ has renewed Landman for a third season. Set in the boomtowns of West Texas, the series is a modern tale of fortune seeking amongst roughnecks and wildcat billionaires – fueling an oil boom so big it’s reshaping the climate, the economy and geopolitics.

Peacock has landed the hourlong Clue adaptation series. The series will be an adaptation of the murder mystery boardgame. Netflix recently ordered an unscripted series based on the game.

Oxygen has renewed Snapped for seasons 37 and 38, along with the expansion of the Snapped franchise with Snapped: Killer Moms. The network has also greenlit the original documentary Hooters Murders: Deadly Shift.

The cash and stock transaction is valued at $27.75 per WBD share (subject to a collar as detailed below), with a total enterprise value of approximately $82.7 billion (equity value of $72.0 billion). The transaction is expected to close after the previously announced separation of WBD’s Global Networks division, Discovery Global, into a new publicly-traded company, which is now expected to be completed in Q3 2026.

Time Flies premieres January 1 on Netflix. Two ex-convicts become heroines when faced with the possibility of returning to crime. After accepting a job, Inés and La Manca suspect they’ve been set up and must become detectives of their own lives.
