The final season of The Upshaws will premiere January 15 on Netflix. Bennie Upshaw, the head of a Black working class family in Indianapolis, is a charming, well-intentioned mechanic and lifelong mess just trying his best to step up and care for his family – wife Regina, their two young daughters and firstborn son, the teenage son he fathered with another woman — and tolerate his sardonic sister-in-law, all without a blueprint for success. But the Upshaws are determined to make it work, and make it to the next level, together. Part 7 of the family comedy features 12 all-new episodes, leading up to an unforgettable series finale. 

Season two of The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball premieres December 22 on hulu. The Watterson family is back to prove that reality is just a suggestion in their wonderfully weird world. Gumball, Darwin, and the town of Elmore are more chaotic, hilarious, and bizarre than ever before, navigating a fresh wave of absurdity. This season tackles a promposal involving Penny faking her own death, outright pandemonium with wild animals invading the suburbs, and a witchy student cult attempting a yearbook séance. “The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball” is pure satire and hijinks, offering plenty of laughs for kids and adults alike, culminating in the long-awaited return of the franchise’s biggest foe: Rob and The Void. 

Thriller series 56 Days premieres February 18 on Prime Video with all eight episodes. The series follows Oliver and Ciara, who, after meeting randomly in a supermarket, fall for each other fast, and dangerously hard. Fifty-six days later, homicide investigators arrive at Oliver’s apartment to find an unidentified body – brutally murdered and intentionally decomposed. Did he kill her? Did she kill him? Intercutting between an intense single day in the present investigation, and the twisted trajectory of the young lovers’ affair in the past, the series is both a unique crime story and a riveting, sexy, psychological thriller. The star-studded cast features Dove Cameron as Ciara Wyse, Avan Jogia as Oliver Kennedy, Karla Souza as Lee Reardon, and Dorian Missick as Karl Connolly.

Margo’s Got Money Troubles premieres April 15 on Apple TV with three episodes, followed by new episodes every Wednesday through May 20. The series is a bold, heartwarming and comedic family drama following recent college dropout and aspiring writer, Margo (Elle Fanning), the daughter of an ex-Hooter’s waitress (Michelle Pfeiffer) and ex-pro wrestler (Nick Offerman), as she’s forced to make her way with a new baby, a mounting pile of bills and a dwindling amount of ways to pay them. The series also stars Marcia Gay Harden, Greg Kinnear, Michael Angarano, Rico Nasty and Lindsey Normington. 

FOX announced updates to its Winter 2026 premiere dates, including special advance premieres of new series Best Medicine and returning comedy Animal Control, following respective FOX NFL doubleheaders, as well as a two-night premiere event for new drama series Memory of a Killer, starring Patrick Dempsey and Michael Imperiloi, beginning immediately after the NFC Championship Game. Animal Control, starring Joel McHale, will have a special advance Season Four premiere on December 28. An all-new episode of The Simpsons will air at a special time following the premiere, followed by all-new episodes of Krapopolis and Bob’s Burgers. Best Medicine, starring Josh Charles, Abigail Spencer, Josh Segarra and Annie Potts will have a special advance series premiere on January 4. An all-new episode of Krapopolis will air followed by an all-new episode of The Simpsons airing at a special time. Memory of a Killer will launch with a special two-night premiere event beginning January 25. The two-night event continues the next evening, January 26. 

The Hunting Wives has added three new recurring guest roles for the upcoming second season. John Stamos, Dale Dickey, and Cam Gigandet will each appear in the Netflix series. The trio joins previously announced new cast members Kim Matula and Alex FitzAlan, alongside returning cast members Brittany Snow, Malin Akerman, Jaime Ray Newman, Dermot Mulroney, Evan Jonigkeit, George Ferrier, Karen Rodriguez, Hunter Emery, and Branton Box. Additional cast to be announced at a later date. 

Can This Love Be Translated? premieres January 16 on Netflix. The series is a romantic comedy series, where an unexpected romance blossoms between multilingual translator Joo Ho-jin and global celebrity Cha Mu-hee. As their worlds intertwine, can they bridge the gap between language and emotion, unlocking each other’s hearts? 

Luke Macfarlane is set to appear on the upcoming second season of Shifting Gears. He is set to play the brother of Kat Dennings and son of Tim Allen’s characters. He has been spoken about on the series, but yet to be seen. 

Sheinelle Jones will co-host the fourth hour of Today. Today with Jenna and Sheinelle will make it official debut January 12 on NBC. She replaces Hoda Kotb who left the series earlier this year. 

Young Sherlock premieres on Prime Video in 2026. Hero Fiennes Tiffin stars as Sherlock Holmes. The thrilling series, brought to life by visionary director and executive producer Guy Ritchie, charts the origin story of Sherlock Holmes in an irreverent, action-laden mystery that follows the iconic detective’s early adventures. With all the wit and charm of Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes feature films, Young Sherlock follows the origin story of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s beloved detective in an explosive re-imagining of this iconic character’s early days. Sherlock Holmes is a disgraced young man – raw and unfiltered – when he finds himself wrapped up in a murder case that threatens his liberty. His first ever case unravels a globe-trotting conspiracy that changes his life forever. Unfolding in 1870s Oxford and adventuring abroad, the series will expose the early antics of the anarchic adolescent who is yet to evolve into Baker Street’s most renowned resident.

Ego Nwodim is set to host the 2026 Film Independent Spirit Awards. The ceremony will air February 15 on YouTube and other social platforms. 

Maxxed Out premieres January 10 on OWN. This unflinching eight-episode series reveals how money (and mismanaged money) can strain even the strongest relationships. Each episode uncovers the “What were you thinking?” moments behind financial disasters and the tough love it takes to turn things around. Guiding the way is financial expert Leah Collins, delivering straight talk, clear strategies, and yes, the receipts. Through high-stakes financial interventions, Leah helps people confront crushing debt and rebuild their relationships – with money, and with each other. But it is more than a money makeover show. It offers perspective, insight, and actionable guidance for lasting financial transformation, while healing the personal bonds damaged by financial stress. Expect powerful, deeply personal stories that resonate across all types of relationships. 

Discussions are underway to make a third season of Pushing Daisies. Series creator Bryan Fuller says that the cast wants to come back for a potential third season, have a pitch, and need to find a network. The series originally aired for two seasons on ABC. 

Scenes After a Marriage premieres January 29 on Viaplay. The character-driven, short-form drama series captures the heartbreak, humor, and unpredictability of relationships in a uniquely immersive format. Lovis and Kian have recently separated. Each time they exchange custody of their children, they meet at a roadside restaurant near the bridge connecting Sweden and Denmark. Kian, still holding on to hope, asks Lovis to wait until Christmas, three months away, before signing the divorce papers. As the series unfolds through these brief encounters, both begin to reevaluate their choices, dreams, and feelings for each other. Is it too late for a second chance?This series strips relationships down to their core, creating an intimate and emotionally charged chamber play. With just one location, two deeply complex characters, and dialogue that oscillates between sharp humor and raw emotion, it captures the universal struggles of love, loss, and the uncertainty of divorce. The story unfolds in fleeting moments; each encounter revealing the push and pull of a couple caught between moving on and holding on. With masterful writing, world-class performances, and a strikingly simple yet powerful premise, it invites viewers to reflect on their own relationships, making it both deeply personal and universally relatable.

Tyrese Haliburton will join Prime Video’s NBA on Prime as a player contributor making select appearances throughout the 2025-26 season. As part of his role, Haliburton will document his recovery from an Achilles injury sustained during the NBA Finals through short video features, offering viewers an intimate look at the dedication and work required to return to elite performance. This content will be integrated into NBA on Prime coverage throughout the season. 

Season three of Just A Dash will stream on Netflix. The new season, along with the previous, will premiere January 20. The series from Matty Matheson previously aired on YouTube. With the Matheson house now off limits, Just A Dash hits the road forcing Matty and the crew to scramble through a surreal, messy, hilarious culinary roadshow with no kitchen and no plan. 

History’s Deadliest with Ving Rhames premieres January 26 on The History Channel. Have you ever wondered how an earthquake could become so strong that it set the city of Tokyo on fire? What about a volcanic eruption so powerful that it buried an entire village under tons of mud? Or perhaps you are curious about what factors were in place to cause the most devastating hurricane ever experienced in history? Sport vs. Money with Simon Jordan premieres January 8 on Viaplay. Made in Korea premieres December 24 on hulu. Set in 1970s Korea, “Made in Korea” Season 1 follows Baek Kitae, an ambitious KCIA agent who’s living a double life. Driven by his thirst for power, Kitae works as an agent by day and a smuggler by night. Smart, suave, cunning and capable, Kitae rapidly moves up the ranks after using his smuggling operation to consolidate power, protect his brother, and generate vast sums of money for the agency. Seemingly unstoppable, only one thing stands in his way – a tenacious prosecutor who can’t be reasoned with, bought or bribed. With everything at stake for both men, the series will follow the duo as they look to take each other down. 

Season two of Unlocked: A Jail Experiment premieres January 7 on Netflix. In Pinal County, Arizona, a newly elected sheriff launches a bold six-week experiment, unlocking the doors to an entire pod and giving inmates unprecedented control. Years of violence, lockdowns, and repeat offenders have created a cycle of aggression that seems impossible to break, and now the jail becomes a testing ground for a revolutionary approach to rehabilitation.

Season one of Stayer premieres January 15 on Viaplay. The gripping drama follows an aging rock musician forced to confront his greatest challenge when the mother of his child dies tragically – struggling to balance fatherhood, fame, and the haunting choices of his past. Even, who left his hometown Eidsvoll many years ago to focus on himself and his music career, is forced back to take care of his 16-year-old daughter Annie, who he hasn’t seen in many years. The old rock star is forced back to a place he fled from and to which he never thought he would return and Annie has to involuntarily deal with a father who once abandoned her. Will Even manage to juggle his music career with the role of father? And will Annie be able to trust him not to leave her again?
