Sugar returns for season two June 19 on Apple TV. The series is a contemporary, unique take on one of the most popular and significant genres in literary, motion picture and television history: the private detective story. Season two ushers in the return of Los Angeles’ iconic private detective and film connoisseur, John Sugar. Colin Farrell returns for a new case, tracking the troubled older brother of an up-and-coming local boxer as his search for his beloved missing sister continues. As the investigation expands into a citywide conspiracy with sinister intentions, Sugar must reckon with himself to answer the question – how far will he go to do what’s right? In addition to Farrell, the second season introduces a brand-new cast, including Jin Ha, Raymond Lee, Tony Dalton, Laura Donnelly, Sasha Calle and special guest star Shea Whigham. 

HBO has renewed late night comedy series It’s Florida, Man. for a third season. This outrageous late-night comedy series brings to life unbelievable ripped-from-the-headlines tales of the Sunshine State – straight from the people who live there. Featuring candid accounts from everyday Floridians playfully recreated by a rotating cast of actors and comedians, this hilarious and irreverent series sheds light on the viral, wacky, and weird. With equal parts humor and heart, it is a love letter to the beaches, backwaters, and basements of a misunderstood yet magical state.The second season guest stars included Adam DeVine, Edi Patterson, Tiffany Haddish, Haley Joel Osment, Bert Kreischer, Nick Swardson, Johnny Knoxville, Shea Whigham, Taika Waititi, Rita Ora, Holmes, David Koechner, Joel Kim Booster, Chet Hanks, and more. 

Prime Video’s God of War has added more cast. Alastair Duncan (Mimir), Jeff Gulka (Sindri), and Danny Woodburn (Brok) join Ryan Hurst as Kratos, Max Parker as Heimdall, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson as Thor and Mandy Patinkin as Odin. The series, which received a two season order, follows father and son Kratos and Atreus as they embark on a journey to spread the ashes of their wife and mother, Faye. Through their adventures, Kratos tries to teach his son to be a better god, while Atreus tries to teach his father how to be a better human. 

Alexander Skarsgård is set to host Saturday Night Live January 31. Cardi B will serve as musical guest on the late night NBC series. 

The three part The Real Housewives of Potomac reunion premieres February 15 on Bravo. Host Andy Cohen sits down with Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Wendy Osefo, Stacey Rusch, Keiarna Stewart, Tia Glover, Angel Massie and friends Monique Samuels and Jassi Rideaux to discuss the biggest moments of their milestone season 10. Karen Huger will make her triumphant return to the reunion stage and reunite with the ladies. 

NBC has ordered two comedy pilots, Newlyweds and Untitled Lizer, Lynch and Sagal Pilot. Newlyweds is a later-in-life love story about a free-spirited woman and a buttoned-up professor who marry impetuously after a whirlwind courtship. In Untitled Lizer, Lynch and Sagal Pilot, Ginger (Katey Sagal) and Jill (Jane Lynch) have always been a team as opposites that work best together. As they sort their past and look toward their future, they’ll discover that in spite of it all, they wouldn’t change a thing. Loosely inspired by real life best friends and therapists Pepper Schwartz and Janet Lever. 

Milo Ventimiglia has been cast in HBO Max’s American Blue pilot. The cop drama series project centers on native son Brian “Milk” Milkovich who returns to his hometown of Joliet, Illinois, to rescue a beleaguered police force while seeking redemption of his own.

Sixteen elite pastry chefs push their innovation and execution skills to the limit in the new series The Ultimate Baking Championship, premiering March 9 on Food Network. In each episode, host Jesse Palmer tests the competitors on the core techniques that outstanding pastry chefs must master, from laminated dough and pâte à choux to chocolate work and sugar artistry. Duff Goldman is joined every week on the judging panel by a baking legend to determine who has the skill, vision and endurance to rise above the rest and who will leave the competition. Guest judges include Bryan Ford, Amaury Guichon, Shinmin Li, Jacques Torres, Sherry Yard, Molly Yeh and Zac Young. In the end, only one pastry chef will be named the Ultimate Baking Champion and win the $50,000 grand prize. 

Netflix has renewed Danish crime series The Asset for a second season. The series follows the work of a young agent who goes undercover to befriend a drug smuggler’s wife. 

The Museum of Innocence premieres February 13 on Netflix. In 1970s Istanbul, a man’s forbidden love for a shop-girl evolves into a lifelong journey of obsession and longing. Based on Orhan Pamuk’s iconic novel. 

Season two of In the Mud premieres February 13 on Netflix. Gladys, “La Borges”, returns to prison. But La Quebrada is no longer the same: with new gangs imposing their will on the other “tribes” through violence, and other new forms of organized crime, she must confront the new penal ecosystem led by the fearsome Gringa Casares, who manipulates the other inmates at her whim. Along with an unexpected ally – Nicole – and the help of the “Muddy Ones” and La Zurda, Gladys will risk everything to protect her loved ones.
