Ted Lasso returns for season four August 5 on Apple TV. In season four, Ted returns to Richmond, taking on his biggest challenge yet: coaching a second division women’s football team. Throughout the course of the season, Ted and the team learn to leap before they look, taking chances they never thought they would. Returning to the series are Jason Sudeikis, Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Brendan Hunt and Jeremy Swift, alongside new additions Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsay, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, Abbie Hern and Grant Feely.
Netflix has renewed Stranger Things: Tales From ’85 for a second season. After uncovering a fearsome mystery at the end of Season 1, Eleven (voiced by Brooklyn Davey Norstedt), Mike (Luca Diaz), Will (Benjamin Plessala), Dustin (Braxton Quinney), Lucas (Elisha “EJ” Williams), Max (Jolie Hoang-Rappaport), and Nikki (Odessa A’zion) will take on another perilous threat when new episodes head to Netflix this fall.
Season five of Welcome to Wrexham premieres May 14 on FXX. Newly dubbed selected episodes of Detective Conan will begin streaming on Netflix and Crunchyroll May 1. Starting today, all WWE NXT Premium Live Events (PLEs) will now air exclusively on The CW. Beginning with The Great American Bash later this summer, The CW will broadcast 20 PLEs in their entirety live on both coasts over the next several years, including Stand and Deliver, Deadline, and Vengeance Day. With the addition of NXT PLEs to The CW’s lineup, the network is now the exclusive home for all NXT programming – which showcases WWE’s hottest up-and-coming Superstars – also airing weekly live NXT installments every Tuesday night. WWE will continue to produce all PLEs.
Docuseries U.S. Against the World: Four Years with the Men’s National Soccer Team premieres May 12 on HBO. It is an unprecedented look inside the United States Men’s National Soccer Team (USMNT) in the leadup to the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America this June. Filmed over the course of four years, the series follows Christian Pulisic, Tyler Adams, Tim Weah, Weston McKennie, and an array of U.S. players on their personal and collective journeys toward their sport’s biggest stage. Beginning with never-before-seen footage of the USMNT at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, the series captures the players through training camps and international matches, as well as intimate off-the-field moments at home and abroad. Cameras also document the 2024 transition from former head coach Gregg Berhalter to current head coach Mauricio Pochettino – a significant shift that resets their strategy and recalibrates the team.
