The Five Star Weekend is now set to premiere July 9 on Peacock. The series is centered on Hollis Shaw, a famed cook and best-selling author known for her delicious recipes, impeccable taste, and warm demeanor, who suffers a devastating loss. Unable to move forward, the death starts to expose the cracks in Hollis’s picture-perfect life – her strained marriage, her complicated relationship with her daughter, and her growing pursuit of validation from her fans. In an effort to overcome grief and find herself again, Hollis gets the idea to host a weekend away at her house on Nantucket with three friends from different stages in her life: her childhood, her twenties, thirties, and one surprise fifth star. Set against a luxurious and coastal backdrop, the stars will mature in ways they could never imagine as boundaries are pushed and secrets are exposed. The eight episode series stars Jennifer Garner, D’Arcy Carden, Gemma Chan, Regina Hall, Chloë Sevigny, Harlow Jane, and Timothy Olyphant

Olivia Rodrigo is set to host Saturday Night Live May 2. Rodrigo will pull double duty as musical guest on the late night NBC series. 

Season two of Ransom Canyon premieres July 23 on Netflix. A heartfelt drama set against the sweeping vistas of Texas Hill Country, the series follows the intersecting lives of deep-rooted families in a town where your neighbors know everyone’s business. Season 2 picks up six months after the events of the first season, with rancher Staten Kirkland (Josh Duhamel) fighting to reclaim his legacy after being unseated as trustee of his family’s Double K Ranch, while musician Quinn O’Grady (Minka Kelly) must decide if her heart truly belongs in the small town she once tried to outrun or in the fast-paced world of New York City. Are they star-crossed lovers, or fated to be together? In Ransom Canyon, true love stories are messy, complicated, and always worth the wait.

Season five of Trying premieres July 8 on Apple TV. Season five finds Nikki (Esther Smith) and Jason (Rafe Spall) dealing with the consequences of Princess (Scarlett Rayner) and Tyler’s (Cooper Turner) biological mother Kat (Charlotte Riley) turning up at their doorstep, and the whirlwind of chaos she brings into their settled family life. 

Harlan Coben is teaming up with Michelle Keegan and Tom Bateman for his latest Netflix adaptation, The Woods. 20 years ago, Paul Copeland’s sister Camille vanished from a summer camp in the woods, a loss that tore his family apart. When a murder victim is revealed to have disappeared along with Paul’s sister, Paul’s hope rises… could his sister still be alive? Mandeep Dhillon, James Buckley, and Pearce Quigley will also star in the series.

Animated comedy series Dad’s House is coming soon to Netflix. In small-town suburban Australia, thirteen year old child of divorce, Sean, spends every second weekend with his laidback, but well meaning dad, Ian. Cramming quality dad-time into a single weekend is already a tall order – but Ian has a remarkable gift for making it so much harder than it needs to be. 

Lovesick is coming soon to Netflix. In Lovesick, Claire Danes is sinking her teeth into life, death, and the messy stories in-between. The straight-to-series Netflix drama stars Danes as Annika, a renowned breast cancer surgeon whose world changes after receiving her own cancer diagnosis. It follows two people whose lives unexpectedly intertwine. Annika, a renowned breast cancer surgeon, has just received her own cancer diagnosis. Her new patient, Nate, is a promising politician. The series explores their interwoven lives, delving into themes of love, sex, illness, death, family, children, health, medicine, and the meaning of life – all while Annika is simultaneously undergoing breast cancer treatment. 

Season two of Bad Thoughts premieres May 24 on Netflix. In this six-episode dark comedic series, Tom Segura navigates unthinkable situations and fantasies within a cinematic world. 

The CW Network and Roku today announced a partnership launching in Fall 2026 that will bring CW entertainment programming to The Roku Channel for next-day streaming. Hit scripted and unscripted CW programming including the highly anticipated new series Private Eyes West Coast unscripted hit Police 24/7, and CW original game shows Scrabble and Trivial Pursuit will now reach more than half of U.S. broadband households via a CW-branded hub on The Roku Channel. Additionally, new installments of WWE NXT will be made available to stream on The Roku Channel every Wednesday following its live Tuesday night broadcast on The CW. The CW hub on The Roku Channel will feature over 800 hours of CW library content, including the hit series Wild Cards, the long-running unscripted franchise Penn & Teller: Fool Us, and previous collaborations between The CW and Roku including the comedy series children ruin Everything and the comedic procedural Good Cop/Bad Cop starring Leighton Meester and Luke Cook. 

The CW Network and ESPN are teaming up to make the ESPN App the exclusive streaming home for all CW Sports live events, combining premium sports offerings into a single viewer-friendly experience through this groundbreaking agreement. All CW Sports will broadcast live on The CW Network as well as stream live on the ESPN App for fans with an ESPN Unlimited subscription plan, including live coverage of college football and men’s and women’s basketball from the ACC, Pac-12 and Mountain West conferences, the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, WWE NXT, PBA Bowling, PBR Bull Riding, AVP volleyball and the 2026 Arizona Bowl. Fans with an ESPN Unlimited plan subscription will have the opportunity to watch all CW Sports offerings live on any device with the ESPN App as a complement to The CW’s free over-the-air broadcast model nationwide, while advertisers will extend reach to new audiences across all digital platforms. CW Sports on the ESPN App is expected to launch in Summer 2026. 

Season eleven of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars premieres May 8 on Netflix. Brian Tyree Henry, Bronwyn Newport, Christina Ricci, Cooper Koch, Evan Mulrooney, Gina Gershon, Jamal Sims, Janelle James, Juno Temple, Kate Hudson, La Toya Jackson, Law Roach and Reneé Rapp will serve as celebrity guest judges for the eleventh season. The star-studded lineup joins host RuPaul alongside fan-favorite panelists Michelle Visage, Carson Kressley, Ross Mathews, and Ts Madison. 

Competition reality series Designed to Last premieres May 5 on hulu. At the intersection of home protection, innovation and entertainment, the series brings together architects, engineers, and inventors to tackle one of today’s most urgent challenges: safeguarding homes against unpredictable and extreme real-world conditions. Each of the four episodes focuses on a specific environmental threat – wind, water, snow/ice, and fire – highlighting vulnerabilities faced by homeowners across the country and exploring practical, forward-thinking ways for proactive structural protection and to prevent costly damage. Hosted by Maria Menounos, the series follows three teams of architects, engineers, and inventors as they compete in 10-hour build challenges, modifying tiny homes to withstand specific environmental hazards. Their work is guided and evaluated by award-winning contractor Eric Eremita and renowned designer Wendell Holland, who judge each design on resilience, craftsmanship, practicality, and creativity under real-world testing conditions. The winning team earns a $100,000 grant to further develop their innovation, helping turn ideas into tangible solutions that can make a lasting impact. 

90 Day: The Last Resort premieres June 1 on TLC. Couples Jenny and Sumit, Shekinah and Sarper, Kara and Guillermo, Paola and Russ, Thais and Patrick, and Rebecca and Zied have all reached relationship breaking points. To resurrect their love, the six well-known pairs will spend three weeks immersed in the rolling hills and storybook charm of the English countryside just outside Bristol, England at the historic Thornbury Castle, a centuries old estate once owned by King Henry VIII and his wife Anne Boleyn. Set against this regal and romantic backdrop, the couples will attempt to rebuild trust, communication, and revive the passion in their broken relationships. With suspicions of infidelity and cheating, communication breakdowns, sexual incompatibilities, and financial strains the couples are ready for a last-ditch effort to navigate issues of jealousy, anger and intimacy through group therapy and one-on-one sessions.
