Cupertino premieres October 8 on CBS. A lawyer (Mike Colter) is cheated out of his stock options by his former employer, a tech start-up. Refusing to back down, he joins forces with another recently fired attorney (Rachel Keller) to represent those taken advantage of by the tech elite and help them fight back in a high-stakes battle against the Goliaths controlling Silicon Valley. The series also stars Ella Stiller, Nik Dodani, Busy Phillips, and Reneé Elise Goldsberry.
New cast have been announced for the upcoming second season of Young Sherlock. Joining the Prime Video cast as series regulars this season are Olivia William, Indira Varma, Sophie Skelton, and Aidan Gillen. The series, from visionary director Ritchie and starring Fiennes Tiffin, is an irreverent, action-packed mystery that charts the legendary origin story of the world’s greatest detective.
ABC has renewed American Idol for a 25th season, and tenth on the network. Auditions kick off August 25, with the return of “Idol Across America,” the live virtual nationwide search for the next superstar, taking place across all 50 states plus Washington, D.C. Those auditioning will be given the opportunity to showcase their talents face-to-face with an “American Idol” producer, from anywhere in America, across any official audition date for a chance to proceed to the judge auditions. Contenders will also be allowed to audition during open-call dates, and auditions will be open worldwide to all those eligible.
Season two of Chad Powers premieres September 3 on hulu. Chad Powers is a superstar on the field but his odd behavior off it has everyone suspicious – especially Coach Hudson and Gerry. The walls are closing in on Russ’s lie, and if he and Danny want Chad to survive the regular season and lead the Catfish to the College Football Playoff, the only person who can help them is the last person who wants to: Ricky.
Joe Miñoso will exit Chicago Fire during the series’ upcoming 15th season. Miñoso had been with the NBC series since season one. His storyline will be wrapped up over the course of a few episodes.
Graeme Thomas King has been upped to series regular for Season Two of MGM+’s Robin Hood. He will reprise his role as Prince John, the cunning younger son of King Henry II whose ambition and shifting loyalties intensify the kingdom’s growing power struggle.
The Drop: A Snowfall Saga premieres September 8 on FX and hulu. The series follows Snowfall characters Wanda Bell (Gail Bean) and Leon Simmons (Isaiah John) as they fight to reinvent themselves in ’90s Los Angeles, where the fallout from the crack epidemic is fueling a new game: the rise of West Coast rap. Wanda starts the series driven by the clear belief that West Coast rap has the power to reshape American culture. She will work to put together a ragtag group of geniuses and lead them to the realization of all their dreams. To do it, she must navigate the dangerous overlap of music and street politics, pulling in those closest to her including her cousins Lamar Kinsey (Asante Blackk) and James Kinsey (Peyton Alex Smith), and pursuing volatile local rapper Artillery (Simmie “Buddy” Sims III), who is already in a tangle with law enforcement. Her internship with former D-boy-turned-label-owner Darryl “DG” Grant (Brandon Mychal Smith) creates opportunities but also deepens tensions between Wanda and Leon, who has vowed to leave the streets for good and chase down his own atonement through his free legal clinic. As ambition, loyalty and survival collide, how much is everyone willing to risk in order to build something lasting in a world that threatens to pull them down?

FOX Sports and The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) announced a multi-year agreement between NYRA and Del Mar Thoroughbred Club, further expanding FOX Sports’ industry-leading coverage of premier horse racing properties through its multi-year media rights agreement with NYRA. Beginning in 2027, FOX Sports will become the exclusive home of live television coverage from Del Mar, including the track’s signature summer and fall meets. With the addition of Del Mar, FOX Sports strengthens its position as the preeminent destination for horse racing in the United States, complementing its existing coverage of the Belmont Stakes presented by NYRA Bets, Saratoga Race Course and the new Belmont Park beginning in September, as part of an industry-leading portfolio that delivers more than 1,000 hours of live programming annually. As part of the agreement, FS1 will also televise live coverage of the Grade 1, $1 million Pacific Classic on Saturday, August 22, 2026 ahead of full-season coverage beginning in 2027.
