The voice cast has been set for the upcoming Family Guy spinoff series Stewie. Joining the series are Kenan Thompson, Vanessa Bayer, Mike Henry, Jessica Lowe, Melissa O’Neil, and Aaron Lee. They join Seth MacFarlane. 

Benicio Del Toro is set to star in comedy series Protective Custody on Apple TV. Also starring and executive produced by Ben Stiller, and hailing from Mike Judge, Steve Hely and Dave King, comes the series about a disgraced financier navigating life after arrest. 

The English dub of Tomb Raider King premieres July 22 on Crunchyroll. Chaos ensues overnight when mysterious tombs suddenly surface, filled with divine relics granting overwhelming power, triggering a global power struggle to claim them for dominion. Among the havoc, a raider, Jooheon Suh, is betrayed and left for dead until a second chance brings him back years before the relics. Fueled by fury and future knowledge, he sets out to raid each tomb before they arise.

Let’s Marry Harry premieres on Netflix August 5, with the finale set to air August 12. Heartthrob Harry Jowsey is done playing the field. This time, he’s handing the reins of his love life to those who know him best. After years of dating in the spotlight – and getting it wrong – his closest confidants Amanda Kloots, Georgia Hassarati and Sonny Henty are stepping in to make the tough calls. From a carefully selected pool of potential matches, they’ll decide who stays and who goes, guiding Harry toward what he truly wants: authentic love and marriage. 

Reid Scott will be departing Law & Order after three seasons. Scott’s character will get a sendoff as he will appear in episodes of the 26th season. James Badge Dale will then join the series as a senior detective. 

Anime film Assassination Classroom the Movie: Our Time begins streaming on Crunchyroll July 23. The film is a part of the 10th anniversary of the series. Forget about homework and pop quizzes. The students of Class 3E have a far more important assignment: kill their teacher before the end of the year! A tentacle-d sensei that moves at Mach 20 is out to conquer the classroom after destroying seventy percent of the moon. In addition to reading, writing, and arithmetic, the murderous monster behind the lectern will teach his students everything he knows about the assassination game. Should some eager beaver prove to be a quick study in killing, he or she will save Earth from extinction – and collect a hefty reward.

Paramount+ has ordered Scottish Highland drama series Laird. Set in the modern Scottish Highlands, the series is an epic family saga in which a proud Scot defies a shadowy American billionaire hellbent on buying up the glens. Amidst family feuds, buried secrets and star-crossed romances, the Laird of Castle Drummoch (Kenneth Branagh) remains determined to protect his ancestral lands from oligarchical land grabbing. 

Apple TV has landed the rights to Rebecca Yarros’ forthcoming novel “Peculiar Stars.” Apple Studios will develop the series, and Yarros will serve as executive producer through her banner Full Measures Productions.

Legendary actress, singer and author Julie Andrews is set to take center stage once again in a new documentary on her life, set to premiere on Disney+ in 2027. This definitive portrait offers an intimate and revealing look at Andrews’ extraordinary journey, from her early days in British vaudeville to her meteoric rise as a global superstar. Marked by resilience, heartbreak, reinvention and enduring grace, her story goes far beyond the spotlight. Clash of the Thundermans premieres September 3 on Paramount+ and Nickelodeon. Based on the Nickelodeon live-action superhero comedy series The Thundermans, the film follows youngest sibling Chloe as she develops a new and unpredictable superpower, causing the Hero League to demand they send her away to a superhero boarding school to learn to control it. Faced with the prospect of sending Chloe away for years, the Thunderman family is split down the middle, with Max, Hank and Nora wanting to hand her over for her own safety, and Phoebe, Barb and Billy willing to ignore orders to keep her with her family. Ariel Winter (Cognita) joins returning cast members Kira Kosarin (Phoebe), Jack Griffo (Max), Maya Le Clark (Chloe), Diego Velazquez (Billy), Addison Riecke (Nora), Chris Tallman (Hank) and Rosa Blasi (Barb). Dana Snyder (Dr. Colosso), Daniele Gaither, (President Kickbutt) and Robyn Bradley (Mee-Maw) also star. 

Comedy special Whitmer Thomas: Terminal Crew of Dudes premieres August 14 on HBO. In his second HBO stand-up special, comedian, musician, and actor Whitmer Thomas digs into his small-town Alabama upbringing… and his ongoing quest to be cool. Joined onstage by his bandmates and closest friends – Jeremy Ritchie, Clay Tatum, Budd Diaz, and brother Johnny McCann – Whitmer shares irreverent and heartfelt stories chronicling his chaotic adolescence, from pranks and skateboarding to ruining a Benihana birthday party. The Chosen in the Wild with Bear Grylls premieres August 9 on Prime Video with all six episodes.
