Rockstar Games and Netflix have announced a first-of-its-kind partnership to premiere an extended look at the next evolution in the groundbreaking Grand Theft Auto series, Grand Theft Auto VI. Premiering exclusively on Netflix on Thursday, August 27 at 3 p.m. ET, Netflix subscribers will get an extended look at Grand Theft Auto VI before the game releases for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19!
Starz has announced the first three series regulars joining the cast of its untitled family drama set inside the thriving world of Black rodeo in Texas. DeWanda Wise, Tian Richards, and Marcus Mitchell have boarded the project, which is expected to begin production in Atlanta later this month. Wise will play Anaya Clarke-Reagan, the Clarke family’s firstborn. Richards will play Rodney Clarke, the fire-starter. Sebastian and Anaya’s smart-ass, openly gay younger brother. Mitchell will play Julius Calhoun, the hometown hero. Infused with hip hop swagger and country soul, the series unfolds in Southeast Texas, where rodeo isn’t just what you do – it’s who you are. At the center are three siblings bound by the legacy their mother built and the unfinished business their father left behind. Driven by their own ambitions and drawn into each other’s orbit, alliances shift, relationships tangle, and nothing stays private for long.

Season two of Average Joe premieres August 19 on Paramount+ with two episodes, followed by one weekly. Season seven of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City premieres September 16 on Bravo. Returning this season are housewives Lisa Barlow, Mary Cosby, Heather Gay, Angie Katsanevas, Meredith Marks, Bronwyn Newport, Whitney Rose and friend Britani Bateman. Friend Ashley Quai also enters the mix. This season the ladies of SLC celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in San Francisco and get some much-needed sunshine in Hawaii. War premieres October 1 on HBO. Season five of Big City Greens welcomes a star studded guest cast when the season premieres August 21 on Disney Channel. Guest include Stephen King, Luke Combs, Dylan Sprouse, Megan Stalter, Chad Michael Murray, Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes. MASTERPIECE PBS has announced the cast for its fresh reimagining of the iconic series Monarch of the Glen, a rich, romantic and humorous family saga rooted in legacy, love and survival, returning to the Scottish Highlands for a new generation. The series will see Julia Brown as high-flying London lawyer Isla Campbell, who finds herself back at her family’s crumbling Highland estate for her estranged father’s funeral, expecting to be gone in days. Instead, she discovers she has inherited a million-pound debt, a bank closing in, and a brother, Alasdair, played by Chris Fulton, refusing to let go of their ancestral home. Under the same roof for the first time in years, brother and sister must find a way to save the struggling estate before time runs out and they lose it for good. Further casting includes Ewan Miller as gamekeeper and family friend Ewan, and Rishi Nair as businessman Daniel. Phyllis Logan stars as Morag, with John Gordon Sinclair as longtime family lawyer Fergus and Gordon Kennedy as stockman Angus. It will transport viewers to the stunning Scottish Highlands each week, introducing a rich ensemble of unforgettable new characters. This family saga promises heart, humor and romance – bound together by breathtaking landscapes, roaring hearths, and the people who call this wild corner of the world home.
Stephen Merchant will guest star in the upcoming second season of Ludwig. Merchant plays Danny Sloane, a cocky snooker champion who is at odds with John in the season’s fourth episode. The new season will premiere on BritBox this fall. Picking up from the end of season one, master puzzle-setter John ‘Ludwig’ Taylor (David Mitchell) is now a Crime Scene Consultant, working alongside DCI Russell Carter (Dipo Ola), on ‘impossible’ crimes for the Cambridge Police Authority. No longer having to masquerade as his brother, he’s openly more ‘Ludwig’ than ever – brilliant at solving puzzles but hopeless at everything else. But John’s identical twin brother, James, is still missing, and now that he’s an official employee of the station, John is forbidden from using any police resources to look for his brother or uncover exactly what he was investigating. Of course, John won’t stop and neither will Lucy (Anna Maxwell Martin), John’s sister-in-law and wife of his missing brother James. A puzzle needs solving and a husband and father needs bringing home. One masquerade may have ended, but a new one has just begun.
USA Sports announced the full game and studio commentary teams for its upcoming inaugural season of Pac-12 football coverage on USA Network, complete with esteemed broadcasters and analysts with deep Pac-12 ties and experience. The game commentary teams on USA Network will feature play-by-play voice Nate Gatter alongside Ryan Leaf, who was previously announced as USA Sports’ lead Pac-12 analyst in June, and sideline reporter Lauren Green. Accomplished broadcaster Ted Robinson (play-by-play), who called Pac-12 football for over a decade, will call games alongside former Notre Dame great Darius Walker (analyst) and Dalen Cuff (sideline reporter). Studio coverage on USA Network will be hosted by Lisa Kerney alongside analyst Erik Coleman, a former NFL safety and Washington State standout. In addition to calling games, Walker will also serve as a studio analyst on select weeks throughout the season. Guy Haberman (play-by-play), who was a play-by-play voice/studio host on Pac-12 Network from 2013-24, currently anchors the San Francisco 49ers’ official radio broadcast, and has called college football and basketball for the Big Ten Network, FOX Sports, NBC Sports and more, former NFL and Washington State quarterback Alex Brink (analyst) and Kate Harrison (sideline reporter) will also contribute to USA Sports’ Pac-12 football coverage, including calling one game of a Pac-12 tripleheader on USA Network on Saturday, Sept. 19.
TNT Sports will air wall-to-wall coverage of the upcoming FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup 2026, presenting all 36 games across TNT, truTV and HBO Max as the world’s top women’s national teams compete to become world champions in Berlin, Germany, from September 4-13. Coverage includes17 games – including all of USA Basketball’s matchups – on TNT and truTV, with all 36 tournament games streaming live on HBO Max. The tournament headlines TNT Sports’ multiyear agreement with FIBA for exclusive U.S. English-language broadcast rights to its marquee men’s and women’s tentpole events, a slate that also includes the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 and FIBA EuroBasket 2029. The World Cup coverage follows TNT Sports’ presentation of the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup 2026 Qualifying Tournament in March.
As America continues the yearlong celebration of its 250th anniversary, the ESPN App will stream live coverage of the 2026 Patriot Games, a national athletic competition for high school athletes, for three days beginning Sunday, Aug. 9. Coverage will culminate with an hour-long ESPN on ABC primetime special on Thursday, Aug. 13, at 9 p.m. ET. The Patriot Games will bring together exceptional young athletes ages 14-17 from across the United States, territories, and tribal nations to compete in a series of challenges designed to test strength, endurance, agility, teamwork and perseverance. Winners will compete for a share of the $250,000 prize pool, providing transformative educational opportunities and helping them pursue their future goals.

Celebrity Crime Scene: Princess Diana premieres August 20 on Fox. The special dives into the theories that have fueled decades of speculation, examining mysterious vehicles in the tunnel, claims of powerful forces in the monarchy determined to silence Diana, and allegations international arms dealers viewed Diana as a dangerous threat that needed to be eliminated. A+E Global Media is honoring the victims, survivors, and heroes of the day with the premiere of two new projects, both produced by Robin Roberts. 102 Minutes Inside the Towers premieres September 11 on The History Channel. The special features the untold stories of key figures who were inside the buildings during the attack and escaped. From window washers and bankers to building security staff and first responders, these are the chilling first-hand accounts of what those who were inside the North and South Towers saw, heard, and experienced as the shocking events unfolded around them and they raced to survive. Robin Roberts Presents Angel in the Rubble: The Genelle Guzman Story will premiere September 12 on Lifetime. Sherri Shepherd stars as Genelle Guzman, a New York City transit employee who was the last survivor pulled from the debris at Ground Zero.
Clash of the Thundermans premieres September 3 on Paramount+ and Nickelodeon. Based on the hit Nickelodeon live-action superhero comedy series The Thundermans, Clash of the Thundermans follows youngest sibling Chloe as she develops a new and unpredictable superpower, causing the Hero League to demand they send her away to a superhero boarding school to learn to control it. Faced with the prospect of sending Chloe away for years, the Thunderman family is split down the middle, with Max, Hank and Nora wanting to hand her over for her own safety, and Phoebe, Barb and Billy willing to ignore orders to keep her with her family.
A full-length special, “The New SuperKitty,” premiered today on Disney Jr. and Disney Jr. On Demand, revealing that Willa the Wildcat is officially joining the crew as the newest member of the cat-tastic superhero team featured in Disney Jr.’s hit series SuperKitties. The special will be available to stream on Disney+ starting August 7. In the special, the SuperKitties invite Willa to officially join them on the team after putting her skills to the test when Cat Burglar (voiced by Justin Guarini) and the Glamsters (voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin and Utkarsh Ambudkar) team up to take over Kittydale. Additionally, two full-length specials will debut later this fall, “Howl-O-Ween Charm” and “Friendsgiving Feast”.
