One Life to Live casts a new contract role to Terrell Tilford as Dr. Greg Evans. Terrell is not a stranger to daytime having had a contract role on CBS’ Guiding Light, portraying David Grant from 1998-2001. Last year, he played Dr. Carrington on NBC’s Days of Our Lives for several episodes.
Tilford began his acting career in 1993 when he appeared on an episode of Coach, he then went on to appear in numerous other primetime series such as The District (2003), Soul Food (2004), CSI:Crime Scene Investigation (2004), Star Trek: Enterprise (2005), Shark (2007), CSI:NY (2007), Bones (2007), Lincoln Heights (2007) and most recently 24 in 2009.
Soap Opera Digest reports there is currently no information regarding the storyline surrounding Dr. Greg Evans, though he is close in age to Rachel (Daphnee Duplaix). Is a new love interest in sight for the young female of Llanview?
The 39 year old Tilford is a graduate of the University of California at Berkley, and has a Masters of Fine Arts from the Rutgers University Mason Gross School of Arts. He is married to his former Guiding Light co-star, Victoria G. Platt (Victoria Brandon). The two married in 2001.
Tilford’s airdate is set for June 23rd.
