FOX released its fall schedule Monday morning and there are a few notable changes. While the Sunday comedy lineup stays in place, Tuesday will feature all new shows. Grandfathered starring John Stamos pairs with Rob Lowe’s The Grinder and Ryan Murphy’s Scream Queens rounds out the night. New Girl is being held for midseason.
On the drama side, mega hit Empire will return in the fall following new drama Rosewood. Sleepy Hollow makes the move from Monday night to Thursday night in the highly competitive 9 pm hour. Along with New Girl, the revival of X-Files, new dramas Lucifer and Frankenstein Code and new comedies Guide to Surviving Life and Bordertown will air midseason or possibly summer. FOX also announced that the last season of American Idol will air midseason.
