NBC has canceled Quantum Leap after two seasons. The series was a sequel to the original series of the same name. It’s been nearly 30 years since Dr. Sam Beckett stepped into the Quantum Leap accelerator and vanished. Now, a new team, led by physicist Ben Song, has been assembled to restart the project in hope of understanding the mysteries behind the machine and the man who created it. Everything changes, however, when Ben makes an unauthorized leap into the past, leaving the team behind to solve the mystery of why he did it.
Peter Claffey and Dexter Sol Ansell will star in HBO’s upcoming series A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight. Claffey will play the role of Dunk and Ansell will play Egg in the Game of Thrones prequel series. A century before the events of Game of Thrones, two unlikely heroes wandered Westeros… a young, naïve but courageous knight, Ser Duncan the Tall, and his diminutive squire, Egg. Set in an age when the Targaryen line still holds the Iron Throne, and the memory of the last dragon has not yet passed from living memory, great destinies, powerful foes, and dangerous exploits all await these improbable and incomparable friends.
NBC has ordered travel adventure competition series Destination X. Merging fantasy with reality in this larger-than-life adventure competition series, viewers will follow contestants as they embark on the road trip of a lifetime but have no idea of their location. In order to win, they must figure out their mystery locations. Once they’re on the blacked-out Destination X bus, the journey transforms into a real-life game board, with challenges designed to offer clever clues as to their location, along with a few misdirects to keep them guessing. At the end of each episode, the contestant who places an X on a map furthest from the actual location packs their bags. The first participant to reach Destination X will be crowned the winner. With high stakes and mind-blowing, spectacular gameplay, the series will keep viewers engaged and playing along on all screens. A host will be named at a later date. The series is based on a Belgian series.
WWE’s biggest Premium Live Event of the year WrestleMania XL streams live April 6 and April 7 on Peacock. Matches include Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins vs. The Rock and Roman Reigns in the Showcase of The Immortals and Rhea Ripley vs. Becky Lynch for the Women’s World Championship. Former cast member Kristen Wiig is hosting Saturday Night Live for the fifth time April 6. She will be the latest host inducted into the five-timers club. Raye will make her debut as musical guest on the late night NBC series.
Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV returns with a fifth episode titled “Breaking The Silence” April 7 on ID. Giovonnie Samuels, Bryan Hearne and Shane Lyons reunite to discuss their experiences with Soledad O’Brien. The episode will delve deeper into the toxic and dangerous culture behind some of the most iconic children’s television shows of the late 1990s and early 2000s, including allegations of abuse, sexism and racism. Building off the revelations explored in the first four episodes, Soledad O’Brien will lead the conversation in the new episode to discuss where the industry can go from here.
Pat Sajak’s final episode as host of Wheel of Fortune will air June 7. The episode will also be the syndicated game show’s Season 41 finale. When the series returns for Season 42 in September, Ryan Seacrest will take over as host. Vanna White will continue as co-host.

Prime Video and the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) have extended their streaming rights deal. Prime Video will continue to be the exclusive national streaming partner of 21 WNBA games each season, including the Championship Game of the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup presented by Coinbase.
