Season three of The Diplomat premieres October 16 on Netflix. Ambassador Kate Wyler (Keri Russell) lives the particular nightmare that is getting what you want. She just accused Vice President Grace Penn (Allison Janney) of hatching a terrorist plot and admitted she’s after the VP’s job. But now the President is dead, Kate’s husband Hal (Rufus Sewell) may have inadvertently killed him, and Grace Penn is leader of the free world. None of this slows Hal’s campaign to land Kate the vice presidency. Kate steps into a role she never wanted, with a freedom she never expected, an increasingly complicated friendship with Foreign Secretary Austin Dennison (David Gyasi), and an unnerving bond with First Gentleman Todd Penn (Bradley Whitford). 

The eighth and final season of Outlander premieres in early 2026. As Season Eight begins, Jamie and Claire soon find the war has followed them home to Fraser’s Ridge, now a thriving settlement that has grown and flourished in their absence. With new arrivals and changes made during their years away, the Frasers are confronted with the question of what they are willing to sacrifice for the place they call home and, more importantly, what they would sacrifice to stay together. While the Frasers keep a united front against outside intruders, family secrets finally coming to light threaten to tear them apart from the inside. Although they’ve left the war for America’s freedom behind, their fight for Fraser’s Ridge has only just begun. 

The Chair Company premieres October 12 on HBO. Ron witnessed a problem. It was a big problem. 

Action packed thriller series The Last Frontier premieres October 10 with the first two episodes on Apple TV+. The series follows Frank Remnick, the lone U.S. marshal in charge of the quiet, rugged barrens of Alaska. Remnick’s jurisdiction is turned upside down when a prison transport plane crashes in the remote wilderness, setting free dozens of violent inmates. Tasked with protecting the town he’s vowed to keep safe, he begins to suspect the crash wasn’t an accident, but the first step of a well-crafted plan with far-reaching and devastating implications. 

Chad Powers premieres September 30 on hulu. Eight years after an unforgivable mistake nukes his promising college football career, hotshot quarterback Russ Holliday tries to resurrect his dreams by disguising himself as Chad Powers – a talented oddball who walks on to the struggling South Georgia Catfish. 

Disney+ has renewed Daredevil: Born Again for a third season. The renewal comes ahead of the second season premiere in March 2026. 

Seth Rogen and Kate Berlant are set to guest star on the upcoming second season of Nobody Wants This. The new season will premiere October 23 on Netflix. 

NBC has set dates for two comedy series on its fall schedule. Stumble will premiere November 7. Peacock’s The Paper will get a broadcast run starting November 10. 

Season two of Starting 5 premieres October 16 on Netflix. The new season brings an exciting new lineup of NBA stars: Jaylen Brown of the Boston Celtics, Kevin Durant of the Phoenix Suns, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the Oklahoma City Thunder, Tyrese Haliburton of the Indiana Pacers, and James Harden of the Los Angeles Clippers. 

Saturday Night Live has announced hosts and musical guests for its first three shows of the season. Season 51 of the NBC series will kick off with Bad Bunny as host and Doja Cat as musical guest October 4. Amy Poehler will host October 11 with musical guest Role Model. Sabrina Carpenter will pull double duty October 18. 

The first season of Fox’s Doc will begin streaming on Netflix September 23. The second season episodes will stream on hulu starting September 24, following the premiere September 23 on Fox. 

Chace Crawford is the latest to join hulu’s upcoming NFL drama series from Dan Fogelman. He joins Christopher Meloni, William H. Macy, Mandy Moore, Sam Corlett, Tanner Zagarino, and Chloe Bennet. 

Anime series Dan Da Dan will return for a third season. The series streams on Crunchyroll, Netflix, and hulu. 

Prime Video has revealed the voice cast of upcoming animated series, BAT-FAM, set to premiere this November. Reprising their roles from the hit Merry Little Batman film, the new half-hour action-comedy, based on characters from DC and produced by Warner Bros. Animation, stars Luke Wilson as the voice of Bruce Wayne, Yonas Kibreab as the voice of Damian Wayne, and James Cromwell, who returns to voice Alfred Pennyworth. This dynamic trio of voices is joined by Haley Tju as Claire, London Hughes as Alicia, Michael Benyaer as Ra’s Al Ghul, and Bobby Moynihan as Man-Bat. The series follows Batman, Alfred, and young Damian Wayne – now having taken on the mantle of “Little Batman” – as they welcome a few new residents to Wayne Manor. Joining the family dinner table is Alicia Pennyworth, Alfred’s free-spirited grandniece; Claire, a recently reformed Super-Villain; Ra’s al Ghul, Damian’s adoring “Pap Pap” who also happens to be Batman’s longtime nemesis; and Man-Bat, who takes up residence in the Wayne Manor belfry. Oh! And let’s not forget Selina, the beloved family cat. This close-knit family of misfits navigate the fun and frustrations of ordinary life while protecting the streets of Gotham City. Prepare for nonstop action, big heart, and hilarious chaos! 

Dancing with the Stars is back and pumping up the excitement with highly anticipated theme night events. Each week, the celebrity and pro duos will dance routines set to iconic music celebrating legendary eras and artists, unforgettable pop-culture moments and more. Themes this season include TikTok Night, Disney Night, in honor of the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration, Dedication Night, Wicked Night, Halloween Night, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night, 20th Birthday Party, Prince Night (Semi-Finals), and the Finale on November 25.

French series The Seduction will premiere on HBO Max November 14. To be the hero of your own story, you sometimes have to be the villain in others’. Golden Eve, a new annual primetime special honoring recipients of the prestigious Cecil B. DeMille Award and Carol Burnett Award, will air nationally on January 8, 2026 at 8:00 PM, ET/PT on CBS. The special will air as a marquee event during Golden Week, a new dynamic week-long experience across Paramount platforms as well as celebratory kick-off events ahead of the 83rd Annual Golden Globes January 11 on CBS hosted by Nikki Glaser.. 

Robert Redford: The Life & Legacy of an American Icon – Special Edition of 20/20 will air September 18 on ABC. The one-hour special celebrates the life and legacy of the actor and Oscar-winning filmmaker who passed away on Sept. 16, 2025. During a legendary career in Hollywood that spanned six decades, Redford was also known for his political and environmental activism, co-founding the Sundance Film Festival and continuing to work with the Sundance Lab in support of independent filmmakers. The special details Redford’s extraordinary life and legendary career, from his beginnings on Broadway to his rise into superstardom, and chronicles how Redford used his platform to make positive change. The special includes never-before-seen footage of Redford from the ABC News archive, exclusive never-before-seen photos of Redford, and interviews with Bob Woodward, renowned journalist; Larry Aidem, former president and CEO of The Sundance Channel; Larry Hackett, former People Magazine managing editor and ABC News contributor; Chris Eyre, Sundance Lab alum and film director and producer; Michael Feeney Callan, official biographer; Jill Tidman, The Redford Center executive director; and more. Romantics Anonymous premieres October 16 on Netflix. TLC unveils two powerful new medical series premiering this October, Dangerously Obese and About Face. In Dangerously Obese, individuals attempt to lose weight and reinvent their lives with the help of renowned bariatric surgeon, Dr. Charles Procter, who is well known for his work on TLC’s 1000-LB Sisters and 1000-LB Best Friends. Genie, Make a Wish premieres October 3 on Netflix. Kim Woo-bin, a devilish genie freed after a thousand years, has long thrived on corrupting humans through their deepest desires. All Creatures Great and Small returns January 11 on PBS Masterpiece. Season 6 takes us back to the beautiful Yorkshire Dales for more heartwarming human and animal tales but, this time, we find our beloved Skeldale gang in a somewhat different situation as we join them in 1945, just as the war in Europe is coming to a close. We arrive back in Darrowby to veterinary advancements, expanded families, and new faces as they all look ahead to a brighter and more peaceful future. This season will see Herriot’s wonderful characters navigating the opportunities that a new world brings, a host of animals great and small, and of course, each other.
