Season two of Ahsoka will premiere on Disney+ in early 2027. Production recently wrapped on the series starring Rosario Dawson. 

Internet personality and second baseman for the Savannah Bananas, Jackson Olson, will join Season 35 of Dancing with the Stars as a celebrity contestant. Olson joins Maura Higgins, star of The Traitors and Love Island, and Ciara Miller, star of Summer House. The full cast of celebrities and professional dancers will be announced Wednesday, Sept. 2, exclusively on Good Morning America

VisionQuest will premiere on Disney+ October 14. The series will act as the conclusion of the WandaVision trilogy. 

Queen Latifah will serve as the fourth coach on the upcoming 30th season of The Voice. She joins Kelly Clarkson and Adam Levine, both reclaiming their iconic red chairs, along with new coach Riley Green. 

Paul Anthony Kelly has joined the cast of the 13th installment of American Horror Story, coming this fall to FX and Hulu. He joins returning cast members Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Gabourey Sidibe, Billie Lourd and Emma Roberts.

Every Year After will debut all eight episodes on Prime Video June 10. The series is based on the best-selling novel by Carley Fortune, “Every Summer After.” 

Oscar Isaac, Betty Gilpin, Alec Baldwin, and David Costabile will star in Netflix’s The Roman. The series is a high stakes modern casino drama series from the creators of Billions and executive produced by Martin Scorsese. 

BET has ordered comedy series Lot Patrol. The series offers a laugh-out-loud look at Hollywood from a perspective the industry rarely lets you see. A mismatched squad of eccentric security guards patrols the chaotic backlot of a major Hollywood studio, where they wrangle unhinged actors, rogue crew members, and their own wildly dysfunctional personal lives. Shot in a sharp-witted mockumentary style, the series blends absurd encounters, razor-sharp urban humor, and unexpectedly heartfelt moments, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the industry through the eyes of those barely holding it together. 

AcornTV’s The Madame Blanc Mysteries will return for a fifth season later this year. Filming is currently underway in Gozo and Malta. Season five, which will consist of 7 hour-long episodes, will return to the sparkling sunshine of St Victoire for another exciting season of antiques and mysteries. Sally Lindsay stars as Jean White, Steve Edge as Dom Hayes,co-writer Sue Vincent stars as glorious Gloria Beaushaw, Robin Askwith and Sue Holderness return as the delectable Jeremy and Judith Lloyd James along with Alex Gaumond as Chief of Police André Caron. Also returning are Tony Robinson as Dom’s Uncle Patrick, Paul Chuckle (Elliott) as Gloria’s dad Trevor, and Stephen Bailey, back to cause trouble as gangster John Marsden. 

In a sign of late-night solidarity, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon will air a repeat on Thursday, May 21, the night of the final telecast of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. An all new episode will air on Friday, May 22, featuring Robert De Niro and Jane Rosenthal, and musical guest Maluma. The show joins Jimmy Kimmel Live who also announced they would air an encore the night of the finale. 

AspireTV’s City Eats franchise is expanding to Charleston this summer. City Eats: Charleston is set to premiere Thursday, June 11 at 8 p.m. ET. The 2027 GRAMMY Awards will air live from Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on ABC, Sunday, Feb. 7, 2027, and stream on Disney+ and Hulu. This year’s GRAMMY eligibility period is Aug. 31, 2025 – Aug. 28, 2026, and nominations will be announced ahead of the telecast on Monday, Nov. 16, 2026. The upcoming ceremony marks a historic shift for the organization as the 2027 GRAMMY Awards will be the first ceremony to air on ABC since 1972, ushering in a new era for the most celebrated night in music. 

For a third time, Conan O’Brien will return to host the Oscars broadcast. The 99th Oscars will air live on ABC and Hulu on Sunday, March 14, 2027, at 7 p.m. EDT/4 p.m. PDT. 

Disney and The Country Music Association (CMA) have extended their agreement for the CMA Awards, Country Music’s Biggest Night, as well as CMA broadcast specials CMA Fest and CMA Country Christmas through 2032. The six-year extension builds on a landmark 20-year collaboration with ABC and includes expanded opportunities across streaming and digital platforms, further strengthening the reach of CMA’s television properties. As part of the new agreement, the CMA Awards will stream live on Disney+ for the first time ever, alongside its traditional broadcast on ABC, kicking off with The 60th Annual CMA Awards on Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2026. 

Disney has expanded its collaboration with the Savannah Bananas, making Disney+ in the U.S. the home of The Banana Bowl set to stream this October. The Banana Bowl will stream live on Disney+ and feature the top teams in the Banana Ball league facing off for the season championship. Known for blending athleticism with entertainment, the game will include one of the biggest performances the league has ever seen, bringing together all six teams, along with its signature on-field showmanship from first pitch to final out. 

ESPN’s College GameDay Built by The Home Depot will kick off its 40th season with a milestone event – its 500th show on the road – on Saturday, Sept. 5, from Baton Rouge, La. ahead of LSU’s marquee Week 1 matchup against Clemson. The three-hour season premiere of college football’s premier pregame show will air live at 9 a.m. ET on ESPN and ESPNU from LSU’s campus, marking the show’s 15th visit to Baton Rouge. Following Baton Rouge, College GameDay will travel to Austin, Texas on Sept. 12 for a battle of powerhouse programs in Week 2 as the Texas Longhorns host Ohio State in a rematch of last season’s 14-7 Buckeyes’ win in Columbus. 

Human Vapor premieres on Netflix July 2. The grounded reimagining of Toho’s legendary classic film is a sci-fi thriller that follows a mysterious killer who can transform into gas and slip through any barrier. He announces his killings in advance and carries them out, seemingly mocking the authorities as they struggle to close in on him. With each new incident, he corrodes society with a formless, pervasive fear. 

This Is Poly premieres May 29 on WeTV and All Reality. The eight-episode series takes a first-of-its-kind look at the world of polyamory, following the lives of five wildly different polycules, interconnected groups of people in polyamorous relationships. As they build lives and families outside traditional norms, the series dives into the emotional realities of jealousy, commitment, communication and trust, testing every rule of love and redefining what it means to be a family. 

Jae-seok’s B&B Rules! premieres May 26 on Netflix. Rookie camp host Yu Jae-seok takes on the challenge with his unpredictable staff: Lee Kwang-soo, Byeon Woo-seok, and Ji Ye-eun 

The Last Laugh: Stephen Colbert will premiere May 15 on the CNN App and May 17 on CNN. The special comes just days before the highly anticipated finale of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. For more than a decade, Stephen Colbert has sat at the center of late night, where comedy, politics and culture collide. As he prepares to take the desk for the final time, The Last Laugh turns its lens on both the show and the man, exploring what audiences stand to lose when one of satire’s sharpest and most thoughtful voices signs off. The hour also examines the broader cultural and political forces surrounding the end of Colbert’s late-night run and the future of outspoken comedy in an evolving landscape.
