Season two of Aoashi premieres October 4 on Crunchyroll. After a loss in his last junior high school soccer tourney, Ehime Prefecture’s ace player, Ashito Aoi, is devastated but in every loss there’s a victory. Tatsuya Fukuda, manager of an organization that trains students for one of the leading clubs in the J-League, sees Ashito’s raw talent and offers a tryout to his group. Together they’ll bring the youth club and Aoshi’s talents to new heights! No word on when the new season will receive an English dub, continuing from the first season.

Food Network has renewed Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking for a third season. Slated for Food Network’s fourth-quarter annual holiday programming lineup, Season 3 will expand on the magic of the first two seasons, with cakes of epic scale and artistry presented in even more famed locations that Harry Potter fans know and love. James and Oliver Phelps return as hosts, bringing their signature charm and behind-the-scenes anecdotes. The new season will feature a tournament-style team format, with each team representing one of the Hogwarts houses: Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin, and each episode paying tribute to a Harry Potter film in celebration of 25 years of movie magic.
31 Nights of Halloween returns this October on Freeform. Horror anthology series Bite Size Terror will premiere on Tubi this Fall. The series is an anthology of short-form horror stories that explores every corner of the genre, from the supernatural and occult to body horror, dark comedy, monsters, and the macabre. The series brings a fresh take on the short-form horror format to Tubi previously explored in Hulu’s Bite Size Halloween. Across the season, grief, ambition, intimacy, and vulnerability become entry points for something darker, as characters searching for connection, control, or a way forward find themselves confronting forces they do not understand. Season two of Vampirina: Teenage Vampire premieres October 6 on Disney Channel, with the full season premiering next day on Disney+. Jodie Sweetin and Ava Jean join as recurring guest stars for the sophomore season, with Hollywood Records artist Hudson Stone set to guest star, alongside Kim Coles returning as Dean Merriweather. The series tells the story of a tween vampire girl who leaves the safety of Transylvania to attend a performing arts boarding school. Living among humans for the first time, she pursues her passion for music while keeping her vampire identity a secret. This season, after successfully performing for the entire school in front of her idol, Millie Eyelash – and inadvertently releasing a horde of monsters previously imprisoned in the mirror realm – Vee and her gang return to Wilson Hall with new musical dreams, while trying to make sense of a prophecy that dictates Vee and Elijah can never be together.

Paramount+ and Pluto TV announced that the entire collection of the Rocky film series, including its three acclaimed Creed sequel films, are available to stream on both services starting today. The collection of films, which arrives in celebration of the original film’s 50th anniversary, includes the original iconic series, consisting of Rocky, Rocky II, Rocky III, Rocky IV, Rocky V, Rocky Balboa (2006) and all three movies from the Michael B. Jordan-led Creed trilogy, including the original directed by Ryan Coogler.
Teen drama Minerva Academy premieres September 22 on Netflix. The series is set in a military high school in Naples. A world that feels like it belongs to another time, where students wake up at dawn for the flag-raising ceremony, where mobile phones and civilian clothes are forbidden, and where military tactics and fencing are part of the school subjects. A place where love stories are not allowed and every mistake comes with a heavy price. The series follows Salvo (Ciro Minopoli), a boy from a group home who joins the school to uncover the truth about what happened to his best friend; Vincenzo (Biagio Venditti), who dreams of following in his father’s footsteps and pursuing a military career; and Camilla (Margherita Buoncristiani), a privileged girl from Milan whose father sends her there in the hope of changing her ways. Minerva Academy is also the story of the adults who are responsible for guiding these young people: the officers and civilian teachers who are there to educate and shape them, while facing their own doubts, weaknesses and mistakes. At the Minerva Academy military high school, students are pushed to their limits and discover unexpected things about themselves. Every young person arrives with dreams and ambitions. The school will not necessarily help them achieve them. Instead, it will help them understand whether those dreams were truly the right ones. In the end, it will help them grow up.
