‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Strikes Book Deal, Bringing New Love Stories to Print

In an announcement sure to excite fans of the Forresters, Logans, and Spencers the world over, Pan Macmillan and its digital-first imprint, Momentum, will release a series of novellas based on the CBS soap opera, The Bold and the Beautiful.

According to the most recent statistics and Guinness World Records®, THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL is the world’s most popular daytime TV soap opera. Since its first episode in 1987, THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL has won 52 Daytime Emmy® Awards and has established a daily viewership of 35 million globally.

The novellas, to be published simultaneously in print via Pan Macmillan and digitally via Momentum, will recount new love stories created through collaboration between established romance authors and THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL Executive Producer and Head Writer Bradley P. Bell. The first two titles, Forbidden Affair by Amy Andrews and Collision Course by Shannon Curtis, will be released in February 2014. The second two titles will follow in April.

“Love stories that have yet to be seen on television can now fully ignite between the covers of these novels,” said Bell. “This partnership with Pan Macmillan and Momentum expands the choices our fans have to be entertained by the signature characters of THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL.”

The deal comes as THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL approaches its 7000th episode and 27th year on air.
