The In-Depth Preview

Margo goes to see Jack and offers him his job back.  Jack isn’t sure he wants it, but Janet asks him why he became a cop in the first place.  Together they tell Margo that Jack is rejoining the force. During their celebration, Jack asks Janet to move in with him. Janet wants all or nothing so the two part ways.  Jack runs into Holden and tells Holden that he is not ready for marriage but Janet wants to get married. At the same time, Liberty tells Janet not to expect Jack to marry her. Jack reports for work and Liberty comes to see him. She tells him to make a commitment to Janet or else.

When Janet finds out what Liberty did Janet goes to Jack and apologizes.  She tells him that she knows he isn’t ready for marriage. How does Jack respond? On one knee.  Carly gives Lily a ride home and the two talk. Carly confesses that she may have feelings there for Jack.  Lily urges Carly to find Jack. Carly goes off to find Jack as he is proposing to Janet.  Will Janet accept?  Will Carly get there in time?

Henry and Vienna tell Katie about the locked suitcase they found under Spencer’s bed. Her friends offer to do more snooping on her behalf. Katie distracts Brad and Spencer while Henry and Vienna to break into Spencer’s room. They discover the suitcase is full of money. Katie brings Brad up to speed but he refuses to have anything to do with it, quite sure there’s a good explanation for a suitcase full of money. Katie heads to the police station and runs into Dani, who lets Katie believe she’s a cop. Dani promises to look into Spencer and the money. Later, at WOAK, a hurt Spencer shows up crying with the suitcase full of money…fake money. Spencer claims it was meant to be a gag gift and wishes they trusted her. An angry Brad confronts his wife and later talks Spencer out of quitting her job. Henry reassures Katie what he and Vienna saw was real money, and someone must have switched it. Things don’t look very good for Katie. If she keeps this up, she may not have a job…or a husband to come home to.

Oakdale Happenings….

Emily is upset when Paul, jealous of Dusty and Meg’s relationship, won’t tell her of his plan. Paul plans to set up Dusty by having Derek plant drugs on Dusty. Once Emily learns of Paul’s plan, she tries to talk him out of it, but Paul calls her bluff, knowing doing so could ruin her chances with Dusty. Derek confesses to Meg what Paul planned to do. Lily is upset when she learns Dusty purchased Worldwide, afraid Holden will think Dusty did it to stay close to Lily. Holden confronts Dusty; Dusty tells Holden to focus on his marriage instead of Dusty. Derek and Bonnie get closer after Derek does a good deed. Alison is shocked when Aaron tells her he’s filing for divorce. Aaron confides in his father and realizes he wants to do more with his life.

Luke shares with Noah his intent to run for president of the student government. Casey agrees to help Luke with his campaign, and later while with Alison, has a run in with Kevin’s campaign manager Mark, who makes crude homophobic jokes. Alison agrees to spy on Kevin and hears gay-bashing strategy Mark wants to use. Alison goes to report what she overheard…unaware that Kevin adamantly refused to run such a campaign.
