Results From Our 'General Hospital' Summer Hit Pairing Poll

After five days of voting, the votes have been tallied and the results of our ‘General Hospital’ poll are in!

The Polls Are Closed And The Results Are In!

After five days of voting, the polls are officially closed and the results are in! We asked “General Hospital” fans what couples they felt would be a hit this summer. Based on our pre-selections, you decided two winners that will move on to round to and represent “General Hospital.” The results were initially to be revealed on Friday but in order to verify the absence of robotovoting in this poll, we took extra time to sift through the votes.

The first vote was cast on Monday, July 6, 2009 at 2:41AM. The final vote was cast Saturday, July 11 at 12:24AM

Your winners, with a total of 27,744 votes cast….

First Place – Robin & Patrick with 38.2%. A total of 10,607 votes were cast in favor of this couple.

Second Place – Jason & Sam with 30.7%. A total of 8,516 were cast in favor of this couple.

The Jason & Sam fans took an early lead but was soon challenged by and eventually overtaken by fans of Robin & Patrick. The top two spots were owned by our winners, where as third and fourth place were always in play. It seems fans aren’t too receptive to Sonny & Claudia or Nikolas & Rebecca, as they only garnered 0.1% and 0.2% of the vote respectively.

Patrick & Robin and Jason & Sam will go on to represent “General Hospital” in the final round of our “ABC Summer Hit” Couple Poll. Patrick & Robin and Jason & Sam will go up against the top two “All My Children” and “One Life to Live” couples.
