Law & Order: Special Victims Unitstar Tamara Tunie (ex-Jessica, ATWT) to guest star on Days of our Lives this November.
Law & Order: SVU star Tamara Tunie will guest star for on NBC’s Days of our Lives for a short upcoming story arc. Tunie will play a pivotal role as Judge Weston, the judge presiding over a case involving returning fan favorite John Black (Drake Hogestyn). TVLine reports DAYS sources aren’t spilling much about the role or exactly how the character will fill into the show.
Tunie’s stint on DAYS wouldn’t be her first venture into daytime. From 1987-1995, Tunie played attorney Jessica Griffin on CBS’ now defunct As the World Turns. She returned to the show in 2000, where she appeared regularly until 2007. During her time on ATWT, she pulled double duty, also staring on L&O: SVU as medical examiner, Dr. Melinda Warner.
Tunie will first air November 18.
