Avengers: Infinity War was a film ten years in the making that somehow managed to exceed all expectations. Yes, the movie is a box office juggernaut, but the cliffhanger ending already has fans across the globe clamoring for the as-of-yet untitled Avengers 4 which won’t arrive until May 3, 2019. In addition to a couple films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe hitting cinemas before then (Ant-Man and the Wasp & Captain Marvel) there is plenty of content out there for fans to help occupy their time – and hopefully make the wait a little less agonizing.

Founded in 1939, Marvel Comics has released a variety of titles over the years and continues to do so today. This means there truly is something for every Marvel fan. The characters you know and love are still there, but the introduction of multiple ‘earths’ and timelines has expanded Marvel Comics’ roster of superheroes. If standalone issues of comics aren’t your thing, many of the titles are available in trade paperback format containing multiple issues. For those of you with e-readers, Marvel Comics can be found on a variety of online stores and delivered digitally to your device. You can also join a paid subscription service like Comixology or Marvel Unlimited which give you digital access to thousands of comics for a monthly fee.

The Marvel Press imprint has released novels related to several Marvel characters over the last few years. These novels include:

The best part? The guides are updated and expanded often to keep everything current.

Two of the newest releases from DK include Avengers: The Ultimate Guide, New Edition all about earth’s mightiest heroes and Marvel Studios 101 which serves as a primer to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
