OWN is in talks to revive cancelled CBS drama All Rise. Two seasons aired on CBS before it was cancelled. With the pending Warner and Discovery merger, the deal would end up bringing the series fully in house with Warner Bros producing the series and Discovery’s OWN airing the series.
Peacock has cancelled Punky Brewster after one season. Starring Soleil Moon Frye, the series was a revival/followup to the original Punky Brewster series from the 1980s.
Mike Richards has stepped down as the new host of Jeopardy! Following a wave of controversy linked to his past remarks. He will remain the executive producer on the series. Guest hosts will continue to host the game as they continue their search again for a new host.
Carrie Ann Inaba is leaving The Talk. Inaba had been with the CBS daytime talk show since 2018 and has been on leave since April.
ABC News will now oversee Tamron Hall, the daytime syndicated talk show. The move is similar to the one they made taking over The View. The series has gone through many behind the scenes changes in the two seasons on air.
Josh Duhamel will be starring alongside Renée Zellweger in NBC’s upcoming limited series The Thing About Pam. Duhamel will be playing a defense attorney. The limited series is based on the murder of Betsy Faria. Her husband Russ was convicted and it was later overturned.
Bo Burnham will no longer be playing the role of Larry Bird on HBO’s Los Angeles Lakers drama series. Sean Patrick Small has been cast to replace him in the role.
