That ’90s Show will premiere on Netflix January 19. It’s 1995 and Leia Forman is desperate for some adventure in her life or at least a best friend who isn’t her dad. When she arrives in Point Place to visit her grandparents, Red and Kitty, Leia finds what she’s looking for right next door when she meets the dynamic and rebellious Gwen. With the help of Gwen’s friends, including her lovable brother Nate, his smart, laser-focused girlfriend Nikki, the sarcastic and insightful Ozzie, and the charming Jay, Leia realizes adventure could happen there just like it did for her parents all those years ago. Excited to reinvent herself, she convinces her parents to let her stay for the summer. With a basement full of teens again, Kitty is happy the Forman house is now a home for a new generation and Red is, well…Red.

Love for the Ages, hosted by Adrienne Bailon, premieres on Peacock December 15 with the first four episodes. Is the grass greener on the other side? Deep in the heart of the legendary city of angels, three middle-aged LA-tino couples, all at a personal and emotional crossroads in their marriages, find themselves granted the wish of a lifetime. What will they do with the chance to turn back time and swap their current spouses for much younger partners for a month of real-life change? A powerful social and psychological experiment sparked by the current trend of “age-gap” couples, audiences will share in the discovery as to whether the original couples opt to remain together, for better or worse, or dare to embark on a new life alone or with a sexy new partner. The remaining four episodes will premiere December 22. 

The Rig premieres on Prime Video January 6. Rose (Emily Hampshire), Magnus (Iain Glen) and Fulmer (Martin Compston) are amongst many others working on an oil rig off the coast of Scotland. When the time comes for them to return back to land, the oil rig becomes engulfed by a supernatural mist. Will they make it back?

Season two of Baking It premieres on Peacock December 12. Maya Rudolph and Amy Poehler invite a new batch of home baker teams to a second season of their award-winning musical baking competition show. With bigger and batter challenges judged by a panel of grandmothers, one baking team will rise to the occasion and win some serious dough. 

Hulu has renewed Tell Me Lies for a second season. The series follows a tumultuous but intoxicating relationship as it unfolds over the course of 8 years. When Lucy Albright and Stephen DeMarco meet at college, they are at that formative age when seemingly mundane choices lead the way to irrevocable consequences. Although their relationship begins like any typical campus romance, they quickly fall into an addictive entanglement that will permanently alter not only their lives, but the lives of everyone around them. 

Saturday Night Live will wrap up the year with three new episodes. Keke Palmer was previously announced to host on December 3 with musical guest SZA. Newly announced hosts Steve Martin & Martin Short will host December 10 with musical guest Brandi Carlile. Wrapping up the year will be host Austin Butler December 17 with musical guest Yeah Yeah Yeahs. 

Adult Swim announced two animated specials that mark the return of fan-favorite heroes. KING STAR KING!/!/!/ arrives February 13 and Ballmastrz: Rubicon arrives February 20. Both specials will premiere at Midnight on Adult Swim and the next day on HBO Max and digital retailers. King Star King is back! And this time he’s a fat, bald, middle-aged slob with a family, a mortgage, and a job at Amazon. Join King Star King, Hank Waffles, Pooza, and Gerbils on a dimension spanning adventure to save King Star King’s family! Ballmastrz: Rubicon follows the events of the second season of the Adult Swim series Ballmastrz: 9009. When secrets from Crayzar’s past threaten the future of the planet, will he grow some balls and unite ‘Team Earth,’ or add humanity to the intergalactic endangered species list? 

Christina in the Country premieres on HGTV January 12. Real estate expert and designer Christina Hall is expanding her design business across the country and putting down roots at her second home, a Tennessee farm. In the six episode series, Christina will create breathtaking renovations for eager clients and make even more life-long memories with her children and husband Josh Hall in the beautiful middle Tennessee countryside. 

MGM+ has picked up spy thriller series A Spy Among Friends to air in 2023. The series starring Damian Lewis and Guy Pearce is based on the book by Ben Macintyre. The six-episode limited series dramatizes the true story of two British spies and lifelong friends, Nicholas Elliott and Kim Philby. The latter became the most notorious British defector and Soviet double agent in history. Philby’s deeply personal betrayal, uncovered at the height of the Cold War, resulted in the gutting of British and American intelligence. The series was initially ordered at Spectrum, but pulled out of original content. 

PBS has renewed Miss Scarlet And The Duke for a fourth season. The Masterpiece series follows the first Victorian era female detective in London. Season three will premiere on PBS January 8. 

After being dropped by TBS ahead of its series premiere The Big D will now premiere on USA Network. The explosive new dating competition series takes on the relationship space with a twist, following recent divorcees as they search for romance in paradise with one catch – their exes will be along for the journey. Over the course of several weeks, 10 divorced couples move into a tropical villa in Costa Rica together to re-learn how to date while looking for love with the other contestants in the house. The group takes part in revealing relationship EX-ercises designed to help the singles form connections, make peace with their former partners, and finally get over the issues holding them back from dating. Each episode, one person who isn’t relationship material will be eliminated. Jealous exes may try to send their rival home or perhaps even defend their exes’ honor – the possibilities are endless. Hosts JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers are no strangers to courting in-front-of a camera and will be on-hand to help the divorcees get back into the dating game. 

Ryan Eggold and Isaiah Mustafa have joined the cast of Prime Video’s Cross. They join Aldis Hodge as series regulars. The series is based on the Alex Cross book series by James Patterson.

Christian Svensson has joined the cast of hulu’s Career Opportunities of Murder and Mayhem. The ten episode series stars Mandy Patinkin. 

David Corenswet will star in FX’s The Answers pilot. The potential series is based on the book by Catherine Lacey. 

JoJo Siwa and Jack McBrayer will host The Children’s & Family Emmy Awards. This will be the first ceremony of the new branch of Emmy awards. Siwa will host the Children’s & Family Creative Arts Emmys and McBrayer will host the Children’s & Family Emmys. 

Comedian Mae Martin will to make their hour long Netflix stand up debut in 2023. Directed by Abbi Jacobson, the special will film on December 8 at the Vogue Theater in Vancouver, Canada. 

Docuseries Sampled will premiere on Paramount+ December 13. Featuring artists Arlo Parks, Bas, GoldLink, Marc Rebillet, NGHTMRE and Tinashe, the six episode series presents a visceral exploration of international cities from the viewpoint of traveling musicians on world tours, exploring Berlin, Monterrey, Amsterdam, London, Medellin and Tokyo. Exclusive, raw and unfiltered sides to these cities will be seen through the eyes of the musicians, as they are guided by local artisans, creatives and experts. 

Disappearance thriller The Snow Girl premieres on Netflix January 27. When a little girl goes missing during a parade in Málaga, a young newspaper journalist becomes fiercely determined to help Amaya’s parents find her.

Ashton Kutcher, Oprah Winfrey, Maria Shriver, Nick Cannon, Amy Schumer, Howie Mandel, Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin share their personal stories in the Paramount+ docuseries The Checkup with Dr. David Agus. The series will debut the three episodes on December 6, with the final three episodes debuting on December 12. Each episode will see Dr. Agus talking with A-list celebrities in emotionally revealing conversations about their personal and sometimes frightening health issues and the impact on their lives and families.
