The Witcher spinoff prequel series The Witcher: Blood Origin premieres on Netflix December 25. The four episode series is set in an elven world 1200 years before the time of Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri. The series will tell a tale lost to history: the creation of the first prototype Witcher, and the events that led to the pivotal Conjunction of the Spheres, when the worlds of monsters, men, and elves merged to become one.

Season two of Gossip Girl will premiere on HBO Max December 1. It’s the second semester of Junior year, and Gossip Girl is leaving no stone unturned in her effort to control the scandalous lives of Manhattan’s elite. She’s learned a thing or two from her first go-round – namely what her audience wants, they shall get. It’s time for her to turn the heat up on what’s been simmering. Old enemies, new allies, constantly shifting sands – this semester, there can only be one queen, and by the end of the school year, everyone will know where the bodies are buried, and just who was holding the shovel.

America’s Test Kitchen: The Next Generation premieres on Amazon Freevee December 9. The 10 episode food competition series will bring home cooks inside the real America’s Test Kitchen (ATK) studio and put them to the test, to determine if they have what it takes to win $100,000, the opportunity to author their own cookbook, and a spot on the coveted ATK team. Chefs Claudette Zepeda, Gesine Bullock-Prado, Jamie Bissonnette, Karen Akunowicz, Kwame Onwuachi, and Nick DiGiovanni will serve as guest judges, joining previously announced series regulars – and ATK icons – Dan Souza, Elle Simone Scott, Jack Bishop, and Julia Collin Davison. 

Dragon Age: Absolution will premiere on Netflix December 9. Based on the video game franchise “Dragon Age”, the series explores mature subjects concerning freedom, power, and corruption set against the backdrop of adult animation. With great power at stake, a group of mages, fighters, and thieves goes head to head against a sinister force possessing a dangerous artifact. 

Hulu has renewed its comedy series This Fool for a second season. The series is an irreverent, cinematic half-hour comedy set in working class South Central Los Angeles. The show centers around Julio Lopez, a 30-year-old who still lives at home, has been dating his girlfriend on and off since high school, and finds any excuse to avoid dealing with his own problems. Julio works at Hugs Not Thugs, a gang rehabilitation non-profit, where he butts heads with his older cousin Luis, an ex-gang member who just got out of prison and moved in with Julio and his family. 

Mariah Carey: Merry Christmas to All! will premiere on CBS December 20. Filmed in New York City at the world-renowned Madison Square Garden arena, the concert special will feature the singer-songwriter performing a repertoire of her festive holiday hits, including the chart-topping massive perennial favorite “All I Want for Christmas Is You.” 

Judy Blume’s groundbreaking 1975 novel is being reimagined by Mara Brock Akil for a new generation as a Netflix series titled Forever. It’s an epic love story of two Black teens exploring romance and their identities through the awkward journey of being each other’s firsts.

George Clooney and Grant Heslov have set up a TV adaptation of Good Night, and Good Luck at AMC Networks. The series follows Sy Steingartner, a young cameraman for Murrow’s “See It Now,” who is forced to juggle his admiration for Murrow with his own ambition. With the CBS brass pushing an anti-Communist Loyalty Oath on Murrow and his staff, Sy has an opportunity to rise straight to the top, but only by betraying his mentor in the process. With wit and keen observation, the series confronts how we respond to chaos and the values that pull us through. 

Chris Rock will make history as the first artist to perform live on Netflix. The comedy special is set to stream in early 2023. Additional details will be announced at a later date. This is Rock’s second Netflix stand-up special. His first, Chris Rock: Tamborine, debuted in February 2018. 

Jose Andres and Family in Spain will premiere on discovery+ December 27. The six episode series follows larger than life chef and celebrated humanitarian José Andrés on a gastronomic adventure across his homeland with his three American-raised daughters, Carlota, Inés and Lucia Andrés. Their journey is a celebration of Spanish food and culture, guided by José ‘s passion for food and his personal history in Spain. 

Roku has ordered two new lifestyle series, Morimoto’s Sushi Master and The Cupcake Guys. Morimoto’s Sushi Master is the first-ever cooking competition series focused on the art of sushi-making. The Cupcake Guys follows former professional NFL players Michael Griffin and Brian Orakpo and their business partner Bryan Hynson at their cupcake shop. Additionally ¡Que Delicioso! will premiere November 25. Renowned chefs Marcela Valladolid and Chris Valdes will both host and judge the seven-episode spanish language competition which celebrates Latin cuisine.

Sandra Oh, Kieuh Chinh and Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen have joined the cast of HBO’s The Sympathizer. The three will recur along side previously announced cast including Robert Downey Jr., Hoa Xuande, Fred Nguyen Khan, Toan Le, Vy Le and Alan Trong.

Mandy Moore will star in hulu’s development project based on the Twin Flames podcast. The podcast is about what happens when the quest for love turns into a dangerous obsession. 

Chrissy Metz will star in the NBC development project Help Me Rhonda. The potential series is based on the book 2 Sisters Detective Agency by James Patterson and Candice Fox. 

Ashley Tisdale will star in the CBS development comedy project Brutally Honest. The project is inspired by Tisdale’s own life. 

David Iacono has joined the cast of HBO Max’s Dead Boy Detectives. He will recur in the series starring George Rexstrew, Jayden Revri and Kassius Nelson. 

Eliza Coupe has joined the cast of CBS’s So Help Me Todd. She will appear as a PI with professional and personal ties to Todd. 

Imani Pullum will star in Amazon Freevee’s Untitled Kagiso Lediga Project. The coming of age series will consist of eight episodes. 

Aoi Takeya has joined the cast of HBO Max’s Tokyo Vice. He will appear in the upcoming second season. 

The 2022 Soul Train Awards will air on BET November 26. It will also simulcast on BET HER, Logo, MTV2 and VH1. The ceremony will be hosted by Deon Cole with performances by J. Valentine, Ari Lennox, Chante´ Moore, Muni Long, SiR, Tank, and BET Amplified stage artists Coco Jones and Q as performers. Presenters include include JB Smoove, Lucky Daye, Mark Tallman & Michelle Mitchenor, and Queen Naija. 

The 2022 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will air on HBO November 19. The live event took place on November 5 in Los Angeles at the Microsoft Theater.

Robin Roberts will host an exclusive interview with former First Lady Michelle Obama for an ABC News 20/20 primetime special titled Michelle Obama: The Light We Carry, A Conversation with Robin Roberts November 13. In the wide-ranging interview, Mrs. Obama talks candidly about her marriage; her husband, former President Barack Obama, the pandemic, coping with low-grade depression stemming, in part, from the pandemic and political division in the country, President Joe Biden, and her new hobby. The special also features an exclusive kitchen table conversation with Robin Roberts, Michelle Obama, Mrs. Obama’s mother Marian Robinson, Dr. Sharon Malone, journalist Michelle Norris, longtime friend Sandy Matthews and film producer and author Tonya Lewis Lee, discussing the importance of friendship and human connection, how Mrs. Obama’s inner circled helped her while at the White House, her new book and advice for readers. The Late Show with Stephen Colbert welcomes back former First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama on November 14. Mrs. Obama’s appearance takes place on the eve of her newest book release, “The Light We Carry: Overcoming in Uncertain Times.” 

Disney’s Enchanted will make its broadcast debut November 17 on ABC. The special broadcast celebrates the 2007 film on the eve of its sequel, Disenchanted, streaming on Disney+ November 18.

Love, Lizzo will premiere on HBO Max November 24. The special shares the inspirational story behind her humble beginnings to her meteoric rise with an intimate look into the moments that shaped her hard-earned rise to fame, success, love and international stardom.

Litvinenko premieres on AMC+ and Sundance Now December 16. The four episode series is based on the true story of the police investigation into the poisoning of former Russian spy Litvinenko in 2006. The iconic photograph taken of Litvinenko in his hospital bed generated international headlines before he died, and his death triggered one of the most complex and dangerous investigations in the history of the UK’s Metropolitan Police. 

Our Universe premieres on Netflix November 22. Narrated by Morgan Freeman, comes an epic tale 13.8 billion years in the making. Blending stunning wildlife footage with eye-popping cosmic special effects, this six-part series takes viewers on a fascinating adventure to explore the connections that drive our natural world. From the birth of the Sun to the birth of a sea turtle, Our Universe uses groundbreaking animation to dramatize the spectacular celestial forces that generated our solar system, while modern camera and CGI technology bring the audience up close and personal with some of the most iconic, charismatic animals on Earth. 

The Bermuda Triangle: Into Cursed Waters premieres on The History Channel November 22. While filming the series, the team discovered a twenty-foot segment of the 1986 Space Shuttle Challenger in the waters off the coast of Florida. This marks the first major discovery of wreckage from the shuttle launch in more than twenty-five years.

Season three of Hostel Daze premieres on Prime Video November 16. After experiencing the exhilarating freedom of the initial years and having had their fair share of fun in the past two years; Ankit, Akanksha, Jaat, Jhantoo, Nabomita and Chirag take on the third year, a roller coaster ride of newer awakenings and unique experiences.
