The fourth and final season of Succession will premiere on HBO March 26. The sale of media conglomerate Waystar Royco to tech visionary Lukas Matsson moves ever closer. The prospect of this seismic sale provokes existential angst and familial division among the Roys as they anticipate what their lives will look like once the deal is complete. A power struggle ensues as the family weighs up a future where their cultural and political weight is severely curtailed. 

The fifth and final season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel premieres on Prime Video April 14. After burning bridges and being cut from tour, Midge Maisel persisted through Season Four, rebuilding her career and reputation. The final moments of the season culminated with Midge leaving Carnegie Hall reinvigorated and ready to weather any blizzard. After an epiphany in front of The Gordon Ford Show’s snowy billboard, Midge is ready to “Go forward” and fight for her ascent to stardom – equipped with her quick wit and sharp tongue, and nothing else to lose. Midge now finds herself closer than ever to the success she’s dreamed of, only to discover that closer than ever is still so far away. 

Unstable premieres on Netflix March 30. Ellis Dragon is a universally admired, eccentric, narcissist-adjacent biotech entrepreneur working to make the world a better place. He’s also in emotional free-fall. His son Jackson Dragon is… none of those things. Can Jackson save Ellis and his company and salvage their estranged relationship while also doing what may actually be impossible: escaping the shadow of his larger-than-life father? 

Star Trek: Discovery will be ending with the upcoming fifth season in early 2024. The final season will find Captain Burnham and the crew of the U.S.S. Discovery uncovering a mystery that will send them on an epic adventure across the galaxy to find an ancient power whose very existence has been deliberately hidden for centuries. But there are others on the hunt as well … dangerous foes who are desperate to claim the prize for themselves and will stop at nothing to get it. 

Season two of Taste the Nation with Padma Lakshmi will premiere on hulu May 5 with all ten episodes. Host Padma Lakshmi takes viewers on a culinary adventure across American soil, exploring the rich and diverse communities who have so heavily shaped what American food is today. Over borscht, cornbread, pasteles and more, Padma uncovers the roots and relationship between our food, our humanity and our history – ultimately uncovering stories that challenge notions of identity, belonging, and what it means to be American. 

Hallmark Channel has renewed The Way Home for a second season. The series tells the story of three generations of women – Kat Landry, her teen Alice and Kat’s mother Del – who are all strong, willful and independent. More than 20 years prior, lifechanging events prompted Kat to move away from her small, Canadian farm town and she remains estranged from Del to this day. At a crossroads in her life, Kat moves back with Alice to her family’s farm though the reunion isn’t what Kat envisioned. When Alice and Kat unwittingly discover the ability to travel between the past and present, mother and daughter are determined to unearth the truth around the earlier tragedies as they try to change the course of events. Kat’s childhood friend Elliot is there for them in both eras as they navigate their journeys across time, helping the three women find their way back to each other. 

Prime Video has ordered a new dating competition series, Twin Love, hosted by twin duo Brie and Nikki Bella. Set to premiere this summer, the social dating experiment explores the love lives of identical twins. Ten sets of twins will be split up and placed into two houses of “identical” casts, where they’ll begin a unique and compelling search for love. With double the fun and drama, the series will discover if their inherent similarities extend to their romantic desires. When separated from their twin brothers and sisters – some for the first time ever – will they pursue the same identical partners? Or will their choices be dramatically different? 

Starz has officially picked up ten episode drama series Three Women. The series is an intimate, haunting portrayal of American female desire that finds three women on a crash course to radically overturn their lives. Lina, a homemaker in suburban Indiana, is a decade into a passionless marriage when she embarks on an affair that quickly becomes all-consuming and transforms her life. Sloane, a glamorous entrepreneur in the Northeast, has a committed open marriage with Richard, until two sexy new strangers threaten their aspirational love story. Maggie, a student in North Dakota, weathers an intense storm after accusing her married English teacher of an inappropriate relationship. Gia, a writer grieving the loss of her family, persuades each of these three spectacular “ordinary” women to tell her their stories, and her relationships with them change the course of her life forever. The series was initially set to air on Showtime before being dropped. 

Tamron Hall has been renewed for a fifth season for the upcoming 2023-2024 season. Tamron Hall is the daytime destination to discuss and deliberate the issues of the day. Hall explores a wide breadth of topics touching people’s lives in ways to inspire, move, and change the conversation. Featuring one-on-one interviews with newsmakers and visionaries including former first lady Michelle Obama, Usher, Angela Bassett, Melissa Etheridge, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Billy Porter, and Tanya Tucker. The show continues to shine a light on important and challenging topics such as visiting with families at the Uvalde School in Texas, bringing awareness to the oppressed women of Iran, and exposing the cultural motivations behind book bans in the U.S., among many others. Hall’s intention is to inform, educate and entertain her audience daily. The show invites the Tam Fam on this journey with helpful tips and takeaways about everything from how to be more confident to how to find love and how to harness the power of laughter. 

Paramount+ and CBC have renewed SkyMed for a nine episode second season. The second season promises new hookups, breakups and heartbreaks as the medevac service expands into new territory, throwing the flight crew into intense new emergencies at work and in their personal lives. 

Darone Okolie and Tre Hale have been cast in the current fifth season of All American. The two will recur in the CW series. 

Skye P. Marshall has been cast in the CBS Matlock pilot. She joins Kathy Bates in the remake of the legal drama series. 

Soji Arai has joined the cast of Tokyo Vice. He will appear in the second season of the HBO Max series. 

The new season of Return to Amish premieres on TLC March 14. This season, the group heads to Florida, where new Amish cast members take a deep dive into the unknown as they leave their restrictive settlements in search of their hopes and dreams. Kenneth wishes to be the first Amish player to make a Division 1 college basketball team; Daniel wants to find a wife from the non-Amish world; and Fannie will be seeking answers for who she truly is rather than who she’s told to be. Meanwhile, Rosana, Ada, Maureen, Sabrina, Jethro, Jeremiah and Carmela face new challenges and struggles as they continue to navigate their lives among the old-order Amish and non-Amish worlds. However, things do not go as planned as unrestricted freedom proves to be terrifying and anxiety-inducing, causing some to face lifelong consequences. 

Season two of Prehistoric Planet premieres on Apple TV+ May 22. The five-episode second season transports viewers millions of years in the past to discover our world – and the dinosaurs that roamed it – all in extraordinary detail, set to an original score by multiple Academy Award winner Hans Zimmer. The series combines award-winning wildlife filmmaking, the latest paleontology learnings and state-of-the-art technology to unveil the spectacular habitats and inhabitants of ancient Earth for a one-of-a-kind immersive experience.

Nickelodeon has ordered The Thundermans Return a movie followup to the TV series The Thundermans. The movie will follow the superpowered family as they begin a new era of superhero crimefighting. Twins Phoebe and Max are enjoying their superhero lifestyle, but when one ‘save’ goes awry, the Thundermans are sent back to Hiddenville. While Hank and Barb enjoy their return, and Billy and Nora look forward to a normal high school life, Max and Phoebe are determined to regain their superhero status. The movie will feature the return of show favorites, new villains and familiar locations. The Thundermans Return stars original series cast members Kira Kosarin as “Phoebe,” Jack Griffo as “Max,” Addison Riecke as “Nora,” Diego Velazquez as “Billy,” Maya Le Clark as “Chloe,” Chris Tallman as “Hank” and Rosa Blasi as “Barb.” 

Riz Ahmed, Emily Blunt, Glenn Close, Jennifer Connelly, Ariana DeBose, Samuel L. Jackson, Dwayne Johnson, Michael B. Jordan, Troy Kotsur, Jonathan. Majors, Melissa McCarthy, Janelle Monáe, Deepika Padukone, Questlove, Zoe Saldaña and Donnie Yen will present at the 95th Oscars. Hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, the Oscars will air live on ABC and broadcast outlets worldwide on March 12 at 8 p.m. EDT/5 p.m. PDT. 

Travis Kelce is set to host Saturday Night Live March 4. This will be the first time hosting for the Kansas City Chiefs player. Kelsea Ballerini will serve as musical guest. It will also be her first time as musical guest on the show.

Join the fast-paced world of emergency medicine in this eight-part docuseries that follows the intense, merciless, day-to-day lives of emergency medical workers across New York City. Experience the relentless pulse of the city’s healthcare system through the struggles and triumphs of a helicopter flight nurse, transplant surgeons, paramedics, pediatric trauma surgeons and neurosurgeons as they give everything they have to help those who need it most. 

The Crossover premieres on Disney+ April 5 with all episodes. The series is based on the book by Kwame Alexander. It is a heartwarming, poignant story about a family of basketball players. The series introduces teen brothers Josh and Jordan Bell, widely considered basketball phenoms. Through his lyrical poetry, an adult version of Josh, aka Filthy, narrates the story of he and his brother’s coming-of-age, on and off the court, as their former professional basketball player father adjusts to life after basketball and their mother finally pursues lifelong dreams of her own. 

Docuseries Monster Factory premieres March 17 on Apple TV+. The series tells the story of misfit dreamers at a wrestling school on the outskirts of a gritty New Jersey factory town who, with the help of their tough yet loving coach, fight for their big break as professional wrestlers.

The Torso Killer Confessions premieres on A&E March 9 and March 10. Through a decades long relationship with the killer, Detective Robert Anzilotti has obtained a new confession from Cottingham for the murder of Mary Ann Della Sala, whose death in January 1967 was never solved. Not shared until now, the death of Della Sala is one of the oldest cold cases ever closed and the earliest confirmed killing by Cottingham. In addition to the new confession, the series features in-depth interviews with Anzilotti, never-before-heard audio tapes of the men’s conversations, intimate exclusive footage, and multiple confessions from Cottingham regarding his recent headline-making killings never heard on tape. The special goes behind the scenes, exploring the relationship between the two men, and offers a rare look into an unrelenting journey for the truth against the odds.
