Fox has renewed comedy series Animal Control for a second season. The series follows a group of local Animal Control workers whose lives are complicated by the fact that animals are simple, but humans are not. McHale stars as Frank, an opinionated, eccentric Animal Control officer who may not have gone to college but is still the most well-read person in the room. A former cop, Frank tried to expose corruption in his department, but his efforts got him fired, which may explain why he’s so cynical and curmudgeonly. He has an almost superhuman ability to understand animals. Humans…not so much. 

Season two of Good Omens will premiere on Prime Video July 28. The new six episode season explores storylines that go beyond the original source material to illuminate the uncanny friendship between Aziraphale, a fussy angel and rare book dealer, and the fast-living demon Crowley. Having been on Earth since The Beginning, and with the Apocalypse thwarted, Aziraphale and Crowley are getting back to easy living amongst mortals in London’s Soho when an unexpected messenger presents a surprising mystery. Michael Sheen and David Tennant return as angel Aziraphale and demon Crowley. 

Comedy Central has renewed Digman! for a second season. The series follows celebrity archaeologist Rip Digman and his team of experts who travel to dangerous parts of the world to unearth legendary artifacts and grow their reputations as fearless adventurers. The animated series stars Andy Samberg, Mitra Jouhari, Tim Robinson, Dale Soules, Guz Khan, Melissa Fumero and Tim Meadows.

Limited series The Crowded Room premieres on Apple TV+ June 9 with three episodes. The series starring Tom Holland and Amanda Seyfried follows Danny Sullivan, a man who is arrested following his involvement in a shooting in New York City in 1979. A captivating thriller told through a series of interviews with curious interrogator Rya Goodwin, Danny’s life story unfolds, revealing elements of the mysterious past that shaped him, and the twists and turns that will lead him to a life-altering revelation. 

Season three of The Righteous Gemstones premieres on HBO June 18. The series tells the story of a world-famous televangelist family with a long tradition of deviance, greed, and charitable work. When the spoiled Gemstone children finally get their wish to take control of the Church, they discover leadership is harder than they imagined and that their extravagant lifestyle comes with a heavy price. 

Wanda Sykes: I’m An Entertainer premieres on Netflix May 23. Legendary comedian, actress and producer Wanda Sykes returns for her second hour-long Netflix comedy special. From the challenges of raising Gen Z teens to the dilemmas of being a liberal in a hyper charged political climate, Sykes, renowned for her social commentary, delivers her insightful and ferocious wit and candor audiences have come to know and love. The special was filmed in early February 2023 at the Miller Theater in Philadelphia. 

Part 3 of Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series is coming to Netflix June 23. These episodes will be the final ones for Ash and Pikachu’s adventures. The Masters Eight Tournament is underway in these fifteen episodes. Friends will come together to support Ash and Pikachu as they face some of their toughest opponents ever. It will all lead to Ash’s dramatic battle against Galar Champion Leon for the title of World Champion!

Animated series BASTIONS will premiere on Crunchyroll May 13. The five part Korean animated series will see the main track and theme song sung by BTS. The theme song by BTS was the last song the seven members recorded together before enlisting in the military. In a world where superpowers are the norm, a group of beloved idols work together to keep society safe. But they’re about to face a new enemy: Wash Green. This megacorporation may call itself eco-friendly, but it’s really the leader in environmental pollution. Can Bastions persevere and save the planet?

A new episode of Superstar titled Superstar: Elizabeth Taylor will premiere on ABC May 14. Legendary actress Elizabeth Taylor is the blueprint for modern celebrity culture. She was the original influencer ― the first to use her fame to create a fragrance empire and forge frontiers in social activism. On and off the screen, she was larger than life. Known for her striking beauty, she was married eight times to seven different men, pursued by paparazzi around the globe, and even denounced by the Vatican. She also broke the glass ceiling by negotiating the first million-dollar salary in Hollywood. The special will feature celebrity interviews including Fran Drescher, Rosie O’Donnell, Camilla Belle, Melissa Rivers and Dita von Teese. The program also includes conversations with Kate Andersen Brower, who wrote Taylor’s biography; Larry Hackett, the former editor of People and an ABC News contributor; Hal Rubenstein, the former fashion editor at InStyle; and José Eber, celebrity hairstylist and friend of Taylor.

Candice Bergen and Gloria Steinem are set to appear in season two of Max’s And Just Like That… Bergen will reprise her role of Enid Frick from the original Sex and the City series. Steinem will appear as herself. 

The New York Jets will take on the Miami Dolphins in the first ever NFL Black Friday game on Prime Video November 24. The game will kickoff at 3:00 p.m. EST. Special Black Friday Football pre- and postgame coverage will originate live and on-site from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. 

Docuseries Arnold premieres on Netflix June 7. The three episode series chronicles never before seen footage & stories of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s journey from rural Austria to the highest echelons of the American dream. In the series, there’s unprecedented access to the most candid interviews from Schwarzenegger, his friends, foes, co-stars and observers. We see many talk about his days pumping iron to his triumphs in Hollywood, all the way to his time governing the state of California. The joys and the turbulence of his family life are unveiled in a tale that matches his larger-than-life persona

Season three of Love Is Blind: Brazil premieres on Netflix June 7. The third season of the reality show presented by Camila Queiroz and Klebber Toledo brings more romances, more controversies and… more marriages? Will true love blossom in the cabins? The new season will feature a new group of men and women in search of real connections. 

Fake Profile (Perfil Falso) premieres on Netflix May 31. Camila opens a sexy profile on a dating app and finds the man of her dreams: a man, the gorgeous one named Fernando. She soon discovers that he is not single and he is not Fernando either. Camila falls into a trap and everything turns into a nightmare. Ready to do anything to find out who the man she met really is, the young woman is determined to identify the infidel and make him pay one by one for each lie he told her and each promise he made, unaware that she is entering an intricate maze of deceiving appearances, forbidden sex and powers that kill. 

Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai premieres on Max May 23. The series takes viewers back to 1920s Shanghai where the Wing family first meets the young Mogwai called Gizmo. Sam Wing (future shop owner Mr. Wing in the 1984 “Gremlins” film) accepts the dangerous task to take Gizmo home and embarks on a journey through the Chinese countryside. Sam and Gizmo are joined by a teenage street thief named Elle, and together, they encounter – and sometimes battle – colorful monsters and spirits from Chinese folklore. Along their quest, they are pursued by a power-hungry industrialist and his growing army of evil Gremlins.

Season three of Stillwater premieres on Apple TV+ May 19. The series centers on siblings Karl, Addy and Michael, who encounter everyday challenges – big and small – which sometimes feel insurmountable. Fortunately for these three, they have Stillwater, a wise panda, as their next-door neighbor. Through his example, stories and gentle humor, Stillwater teaches the children the concept of mindfulness, while offering them a deeper understanding of their feelings as well as tools that help them face their own day-to-day challenges.
