Freeform has canceled Single Drunk Female and The Watchful Eye. Single Drunk Female ran for two seasons and followed an alcoholic who attempted to stay on the right path. The Watchful Eye aired one season and followed a young woman who becomes a nanny in a high end apartment and gets caught up in a mystery.

Season two of The Summer I Turned Pretty premieres July 14 on Prime Video with the first three episodes. New episodes will air weekly through the season finale August 18. Belly used to count down the days until she could return to Cousins Beach, but with Conrad and Jeremiah fighting over her heart and the return of Susannah’s cancer, she’s not sure summer will ever be the same. When an unexpected visitor threatens the future of Susannah’s beloved house, Belly has to rally the gang to come together – and to decide once and for all where her heart lies.

Sweet Magnolias returns for season three on Netflix July 20. Following the brawl at Sullivan’s, Maddie wrestles with the best way to help Cal and works to clear her own emotional path. Helen faces difficult decisions about the men in her life. And Dana Sue searches for a way to use Miss Frances’ check to help the community, without upending her family. The identity of the tire slasher sends shockwaves through Serenity, the recall causes unexpected consequences, and there are romantic surprises in every generation. Throughout the season, the ladies tackle these problems — and all the complications they cause — with their trademark warmth, humor, and devotion to each other and those they love. And margaritas.

Season two of World on Fire premieres on MASTERPIECE on PBS October 15. Season two stars Jonah Hauer-King, Lesley Manville and an ensemble cast in the next chapter of this epic World War II drama.

Season two of Invasion premieres on Apple TV+ August 23. The ten episode series is a sweeping, character-driven science fiction drama series that follows an alien invasion through different perspectives around the world. The second season picks up just months later with the aliens escalating their attacks in an all-out war against the humans. The series stars Golshifteh Farahani, Shioli Kutsuna, Shamier Anderson, India Brown, Billy Barratt, Azhy Robertson, Paddy Holland and Tara Moayedi. New series regulars joining season two include Enver Gjokaj, Nedra Marie Taylor and Naian González Norvind.

The Spring 2023 anime season is coming to an end on Crunchyroll and more finale dates are approaching. MASHLE: MAGIC AND MUSCLES, which will return for a second season January 2024, will air its finale June 30. The Hell’s Paradise finale airs July 1. The Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury finale airs July 2. Following these finales, the Summer 2023 season kicks off with the premieres of Horimiya: The Missing Pieces July 1, Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 July 2, Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon July 5, Undead Murder Farce July 5 and the much anticipated JUJUTSU KAISEN Season 2 July 6. JUJUTSU KAISEN Season 2 will be told over two consecutive cours, with the first part of the story recounting Gojo’s and Geto’s past in the “Hidden Inventory / Premature Death” arc.

Little Big Town will host the first-ever People’s Choice Country Awards from the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville September 28 on NBC. The two hour ceremony will lean into the rich connection between country music and the Opry through chart-topping musical performances, genre-bending collaborations, legendary tributes and surprise moments that regularly happen from the iconic venue.

CBS has ordered a new game show titled Raid The Cage. The series is based on the Israeli series of the same name. The game show follows two teams in a cage where they have to answer questions and grab prizes.

In a recasting, Olivia Williams and Jodhi May have joined the cast of Max’s Dune: The Sisterhood. Williams replaces Shirley Henderson while May replaces Indira Varma. The series is set 10,000 years in the past in the Dune film franchise universe.
