The fourth and final season of Sex Education premieres on Netflix September 21. Following the closure of Moordale Secondary, Otis and Eric now face a new frontier – their first day at Cavendish Sixth Form College. Otis is nervous about setting up his new clinic, whilst Eric is praying they won’t be losers again. But Cavendish is a culture shock for all the Moordale students – they thought they were progressive but this new college is another level. There’s daily yoga in the communal garden, a strong sustainability vibe and a group of kids who are popular for being… kind?! Viv is totally thrown by the college’s student-led, non-competitive approach, while Jackson is still struggling to get over Cal. Aimee tries something new by taking an Art A-Level and Adam grapples with whether mainstream education is for him. Over in the US, Maeve is living her dream at prestigious Wallace University, being taught by cult author Thomas Molloy. Otis is pining after her, whilst adjusting to not being an only child at home, or the only therapist on campus… 

The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart premieres on Prime Video August 4. Based on Holly Ringland’s best-selling debut novel, the seven-part series starring Sigourney Weaver tells the emotionally compelling story of Alice Hart. When Alice, aged 9, tragically loses her parents in a mysterious fire, she is taken to live with her grandmother June at Thornfield flower farm, where she learns that there are secrets within secrets about her and her family’s past. Set against Australia’s breathtaking natural landscape, and with native wildflowers and plants providing a way to express the inexpressible, this enthralling family drama spans decades. As she grows from her complicated past, Alice’s journey builds to an emotional climax when she finds herself fighting for her life against a man she loves. 

Season two of Heartstopper premieres on Netflix August 3. With exams, a school trip to Paris and prom on the horizon, Nick, Charlie and the gang must navigate the next stages of life, love and friendship

DC announced Suicide Squad Isekai, an anime series. The Suicide Squad rampages into Japanese anime in a collaboration with Warner Bros. Japan and WIT Studio! 

The original Japanese voice actors from the One Piece anime will be reprising their roles in the live action One Piece series. The series is a legendary high-seas adventure unlike any other. Monkey D. Luffy is a young adventurer who has longed for a life of freedom since he can remember. Luffy sets off from his small village on a perilous journey to find the legendary fabled treasure, ONE PIECE, to become King of the Pirates! But in order to find the ultimate prize, Luffy will need to assemble the crew he’s always wanted before finding a ship to sail, searching every inch of the vast blue seas, outpacing the Marines, and outwitting dangerous rivals at every turn.  It will premiere on Netflix August 31.

PLUTO premieres on Netflix October 26. Europol detective robot Gesicht races to solve a string of murders targeting advanced robots and key figures in robot law, uncovering the greatest evil in history. The suspense drama takes place in a neo-futuristic world where humans and high-functioning robots live in complete harmony.

Apple TV+ has canceled High Desert after one season. The series followed Peggy, played by Patricia Arquette, an on-again-off-again addict who decides to make a new start after the death of her beloved mother, with whom she lived in the small desert town of Yucca Valley, California, and makes a life-changing decision to become a private investigator. 

Food Network has renewed Summer Baking Championship for a second season. Hosted by Jesse Palmer, ten talented bakers from around the country compete in unique summer-themed baking challenges featuring the flavors, ingredients, and celebrations of the season for a chance to earn the title of Summer Baking Champion and win $25,000. Bakers’ skills are put to the test to prove they can create the most delectable desserts to impress judges Duff Goldman, Carla Hall, and Damaris Phillips. Production is scheduled to begin later this year. 

The final season of BEASTARS will premiere on Netflix in 2024. The animal human drama is set in a world where bipedal carnivores and herbivores live together. In this unique world, the gray wolf Legoshi and his classmates attend the Cherryton Academy, where all students stay in dormitories. This is the story of love and friendship that goes beyond species. However, at times, their unrestrainable instincts as carnivores and herbivores lead to tragic events. 

Talented chefs from the four regions of the United States- North, South, East and West- step into the Chopped kitchen to proudly represent their region for a chance to win $50,000 in the new five-part tournament Chopped: All- American Showdown premiering July 11 on Food Network. Hosted by Ted Allen, each preliminary episode of the tournament features four chefs from one of the four regions of the country showcasing their culinary skills over three rounds- appetizer, entrée and dessert. The chefs are challenged to utilize the basket of mystery ingredients and create delicious dishes to impress a rotating panel of judges including- Eric Adjepong, Scott Conant, Cassidee Dabney, Amanda Freitag, Gregory Gourdet, Alex Guarnaschelli and Geoffrey Zakarian. United in their passion for food and their hunger for victory, the winners from each region return to the finale to fight ferociously for American pride, the tournament’s coveted prize and the title of Chopped Grand Champion. 

Crunchyroll will begin streaming the English dub of One Piece July 5. English dub fans will be able to join Monkey D. Luffy and his crew’s adventures following the Straw Hat Pirates’ story up through the legendary Wano Country story arc. One Piece Episodes 1-964 of the English dub will arrive on Crunchyroll on July 5 along with English dub episodes 965-976 from Season 14 Voyage 7, which will stream for the very first time. New episodes of the English dub will release regularly on Crunchyroll moving forward as they are produced.

CNN’s new series hosted by Kaitlan Collins will be titled The Source. The weekday series will fill the 9PM slot which has been empty starting July 10. 

The Summer 2023 anime season is in full swing and more premieres are coming to Crunchyroll. JUJUTSU KAISEN Season 2 premieres July 6. Reign of the Seven Spellblades premieres July 7. Liar, Liar premieres July 8. Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead premieres July 9. Bungo Stray Dogs Season 5 premieres July 12. 

Amazon has ordered three new local versions of Temptation Island. A series set in Mexico, one in Brazil and one in Argentina and Chile will each consist of nine episodes. 

Pokémon Concierge will premiere on Netflix this December. The ambitious stop-motion project follows Haru, a concierge at the ‘Pokémon Resort,’ and her interactions with Pokémon and their owners who visit as guests. 

Part 2 of Record of Ragnarok II premieres on Netflix July 12. The 13 one-on-one battles between representatives of gods and humans across the entire world for the survival of humanity begin once more! Blood flows and fists fly in these intense battles of strong convictions! 

Reptile Royalty premieres on The Roku Channel July 21. Running a zoo takes a special breed. The series is hosted by Jay Brewer, aka JayPrehistoricPets.

Miniseries Burning Body premieres on Netflix September 8. The series is inspired by the crime that took place in 2017, when a man appeared burned in the Foix reservoir, in the province of Barcelona. The investigation into the homicide brought to light a toxic relationships’ network, deceits, sexual scandals and violence among several police officers in Barcelona. 

Delicious in Dungeon will premiere on Netflix January 2024. Take a look at dynamic scenes of Laios and his companions and hear their voices as they eat the monsters that appear in the dungeons!
