HBO has canceled Perry Mason after two seasons. The series starred Matthew Rhys and was based on the work of Erle Stanley Gardner. The drama series traced the origins of famed criminal defense lawyer Perry Mason. The second season finale aired in April.

Season two of The Lincoln Lawyer will premiere in two parts on Netflix. Part 1 will premiere July 6. Part 2 will premiere August 3. Mickey Haller, an iconoclastic idealist, runs his law practice out of the back seat of his Lincoln, as he takes on cases big and small across the expansive city of Los Angeles. Based on the series of bestselling novels by renowned author Michael Connelly, the second season is based on the fourth book in “The Lincoln Lawyer” series, “The Fifth Witness.”

The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart premieres on Prime Video August 4. Based on Holly Ringland’s best-selling debut novel, the seven-part series tells the emotionally compelling story of Alice Hart. When Alice, aged 9, tragically loses her parents in a mysterious fire, she is taken to live with her grandmother June at Thornfield flower farm, where she learns that there are secrets within secrets about her and her family’s past. Set against Australia’s breathtaking natural landscape, and with native wildflowers and plants providing a way to express the inexpressible, this enthralling family drama spans decades. As she grows from her complicated past, Alice’s journey builds to an emotional climax when she finds herself fighting for her life against a man she loves.

And, one passionate Barbie fan will win a once-in-a-lifetime sleepover staycation in the completed home!

The Weather Channel’s Deep Water Salvage returns for season three June 11 with all new action-packed water recoveries. The series follows crews around the globe – from the Gulf of Mexico to the shores of Spain – as they take on high-pressure missions to salvage ships in peril from extreme weather, and repair marine infrastructure. Crews encounter new adrenaline-filled adventures including assisting local authorities in the recovery of a submerged vehicle believed to have a body inside, as well as delicately hauling a shipwrecked vessel near sacred burial grounds, where they manage to avoid the wrath of locals – both in the natural and supernatural worlds. And after a devastating oil spill, crews create a unique oil recovery system designed to protect the marine ecosystem.

Prime Video has ordered the animated series Angry Birds Mystery Island. Harvey Guillén, Kate Micucci, Dominic Monaghan, and Nasim Pedrad will star in the 24 episode season which will feature new characters.

Apple TV+ has picked up a four episode docuseries featuring legendary football champion Lionel Messi and his FIFA World Cup career, culminating in his dramatic Qatar 2022 win. In his own words, Messi tells the definitive story of his incredible career with the Argentina national football team, providing an intimate and unprecedented look at his quest for a legacy-defining World Cup victory.

MGM+ has picked up true-crime docuseries Psycho: The Lost Tapes of Ed Gein. The docuseries follows the horrifying grave robber and serial killer Ed Gein, otherwise known as “The Plainfield Ghoul” and “The Mad Butcher,” whose crimes inspired such iconic films as Psycho, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and The Silence of the Lambs. It explores Gein’s upbringing and twisted relationship with his mother (which famously inspired Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho), his early grave robbing, the murders leading up to his arrest, and the police’s discovery of his terrifying house of horrors – all accompanied by the brand-new revelations revealed in never-before-heard recordings.

Garfield Wilson has joined the cast of Syfy’s Reginald The Vampire. Wilson will recur in the upcoming second season as an angel.

All thirteen episodes of Senryu Girl will be added back to HIDIVE June 11. The English sub and dub versions will be available. At first glance Yukishiro Nanako seems like a normal high school girl, but she has a notable eccentricity: instead of speaking, she communicates only through written senryu poetry! This means she expresses herself exclusively in 5-7-5 syllables. To most this might seem like an inconvenience, but for Nanako and her ex-delinquent bestie, Busujima Eiji, it adds to the experience of their high school lives as they run the Literature Club.
